I scheduled Citywide for a termite inspection on a condo built in 2019. The day before the appointment, I received a text (attached) stating that the building was newly constructed in April 2025 and didn't require an inspection. They requested a $95 payment to issue a clearance report without visiting the property. I replied to clarify that the building was actually completed in 2019, not four months ago, and asked that someone still come out to inspect our individual unit before issuing a clearance report. I felt that was a reasonable request if we were paying a fee. Shortly after, I received a call from the owner, Greg, who immediately became hostile. Before I could say more than "hello," he began yelling at me, saying I wasn't listening, that I was wasting his time, and that questioning his 35+ years of experience was "ridiculous." He then told me to find someone else and hung up on me mid-call. I was shocked at how aggressive and unprofessional the interaction was, especially considering I had been polite throughout. To be spoken to like that, especially on speakerphone with my kids in the car, was incredibly upsetting. I won't be using Citywide again and, going forward, I won't be accepting their clearance reports in any transaction I'm involved in. Issuing a clearance on a property you haven't inspected, and one you've clearly confused with a different building, raises serious concerns about credibility and ethics. read more

I don't know about the effectiveness of the treatment it could be spit on-but the team managed to break and ruin something in every corner of our property. Greg has zero customer service sense whatsoever. There are so many other termite inspectors you can go to, do not go to Greg. He told me he would send me a before photo (I'm managing this home from another state), and he never sent me the photo. I texted him and asked if it was too late for him to send the photo, no reply. I ended up calling him to ask, because an issue on our home inspection report came up. Greg said he's not a photographer (lol) and got incredibly defensive. I pointed out that he was the one who offered the photo, and then he aggressively said, "Well, if I said I would do something and I didn't, I'm sorry." That's fine. That's all I wanted you to admit. That you do your job poorly and you have poor customer service. He is not worth your precious time or money, and I will never recommend him to anyone in this area. I 100% believe the other reviewer that wrote Greg stormed off saying "I'm out of here," because Greg ended up hanging up on me while we were mid-convo. Free advice: Enjoy your life, Greg. AGENTS BEWARE! These guys were hired by the seller to patch up ALL entry points whereby rodents could get into the home and remove all mice in the home. After the client moved in, he found a skunk under the house. Upon finding out, I called them and let them know the holes were not sealed. I even went as far to say that I will take care of getting rid of the skunk, but, that they needed to come back and fix it. They refused saying they did cover up all the holes as they saw fit. I asked them how could they have fixed holes that a mouse could get through, if a skunk got through? Last time I checked, a skunk is bigger than a mouse... DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE NOT PEOPLE OF INTEGRITY AND WILL PUT YOU IN A BAD LIGHT WITH YOUR CLIENTS AND WILL NOT DO THE RIGHT THING. read more

CITYWIDE is on PROBATION with the Structural Pest Control Board of CA, license numbers: 8081 & 13428 which you will probably need handy to report Citywide again after you do business with them. This is a VERY unprofessional business. They are dealing with the people as they are relocating from their home which is a sensitive time for most people. Greg Salcido is very rude and unprofessional. He refused to leave our property during our move out. It gets worse... not only did he refuse to leave he also called my wife a BITCH and weird, and acted like he wanted to get into a fist fight multiple times.... Absolutely excellent customer service and quick as well. We had him do a thorough termite inspection of our whole house and outside covered patio and parabola. He ended up finding tons of dry rot and a bit of termite damage in the parabola and offered to rebuild it for us. We accepted his reasonable offer and he rebuilt the parabola to a state that was even better than before(pictures are above). He was able to perfectly match the paint on the new pieces to the pieces that did not need to be replaced. We could not have been happier with the rebuild. Also we haven't had any issues in over a year with termites due to his treatment in the few spots that had termites. Overall Greg was extremely friendly and displayed excellent customer service. We called Citywide Termite Control in La Verne for a termite inspection of our property. The owner came out and behaved very poorly. He escalated quickly and became upset when I asked questions in regards to termite options in specific areas of our property and neighbors property to gain a better understanding of his services. The owner was very standoffish and told my husband and "I'm out of here" and left abruptly. I would have gladly asked him to leave our property, however we were in total shock that an owner would behave in such an unprofessional manner. We have been getting a few quotes from different companies in the Inland Empire area and everyone has been professional. It does not really matter how long you have been in business when you lack basic customer service skills. It speaks volumes when you tell someone you are the owner and behave so poorly. Within 3 months the termites were back, I called because they gave me 6 months warranty Greg the owner was very rude he answer what do you want after I explained to him who I was, I tried to stay calm because I knew he was trying to start a discussion so he can get away with the job. He told me that he needs photos, I sent photos he said he couldn't see anything I resend the photos he said ok they're termites and NEVER answer again.
