I love this Deli and have a deep fondness for this Cheesesteak. The place was big, clean and had everything including beer. The meat was chopped and very good but it was a thicker slice. It took a little getting use to. Plenty of extras (mushrooms, fried onions, LT) and I could tell everything was fresh and quality. $8.73 for the CS, you know I loved that!! I was full and didn't feel like paying $3.50 for the dirt pudding even though it looked awesome. I would have liked a thinner cut of meat and more of it

Pepperoni for scale. Small (6 inch) turkey and american cheese hoagie.

8:13 pm: Just ordered a turkey and cheese hoagie from Civera's in Drexel Hill. Person who answered seemed annoyed that I called-not friendly at all. Going to pick it up now. Stay tuned, kids.. 8:30 pm: Arrived at Civeras, only to have what sounded like the same young girl, tell me they had no orders for a small turkey hoagie. Went to my car, got my phone, googled the number I called, and it came up Civeras. Came back in, read off number and asked "is there another Civeras in Drexel Hill?" She said no. I said, "weird. Well can I order one now? Which I did. She also asked me a bunch of questions thus time around like "what kind of turkey, cheese, lto," etc. Which the person on the phone did not. I told her that as well. She seemed unamused. Ban older Delco gentleman sitting in there said "sounds like you're in the twilight zone", to which I agreed. 8:33 pm: a nice young lad came out from behind the counter and cheerfully said "Caroline?" To which I assumed he meant me, since my above mentioned fellow patron did not seem like a Caroline. But yes, that timing is right. Dude had my sandwich ready in 3 minutes. Leaving now. Keep ya posted. 8:49 pm: I'm about to dive in. I tried to add a picture to this post, but it won't let me, so I'm posting in comments. It's a small 6 inch house turkey and American cheese hoagie that looks and smells pretty good. I added the pepperoni next to it for scale, because that's what I had handy. 9:12 pm: The hoagie has come and gone. I would call it delightful. Not super great, but better than good. Somewhere around very good and delightful. Yes. That sounds right. All of the ingredients (turkey, american, lettuce, tomato, onion) were super fresh and tasty. The bread was not overly chewy or hard by any means, it was a great consistency. The turkey was outstanding. I got it with oil, and it probably could have used a touch more, was a little dry-ish for my taste (some bites more than others), but that is more of a personal choice. I don't have any complaints and would/will go back again.

Today was my very first time trying Civera's. I got the patty melt and French fries with the cheese sauce. I'll admit that I was a little disappointed on how the cashier was towards me. I got the feeling that she could've cared less if I was there or not. I kind of felt like I was inconveniencing her by being there. The sandwich that I got was pretty good. I kind of wished that the bread was a little more toasty and that there was a little more cheese on it. Both are personal preferences. The French fries were good and it was a very generous portion. Overall the price wasn't bad. I'll go back again and try something else. I can look past an indifferent attitude for a tasty sandwich.

I actually intended to go to Pagano's for lunch, but it was further than I expected and in fact closed on Mondays, so I settled for a deli I knew nearly nothing about, Civera's. It was bustling, which I love. The menu is on three big flat screens, which change every few seconds, so I had some difficult viewing the items and picking. I eventually settled on an "Old Style" Italian hoagie--aged provolone, prosciutto, cappicola, and hot ham, with oil, balsamic, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. A full, delicious hoagie with some tug, but not too tough. Lovely, really. It was busy and I waited a while, so while I did, I got to browse the surprisingly impressive beer selection--rare domestics and some great imports too. Highlights are: Oak Horizontal, Maine Brewing Porter, Founders Bolt Cutter, and Brooklyn Black Ops. Nicely done.

In the area for a soccer game. Picked up a tomato pie and cheesteaks since I was in the area . Lady at the front was super friendly, and accommodated my request to cut the tomato pie into slices.

See their hours? Don't trust what it says. You can only order until the time they feel like stopping, which is BEFORE the advertised hours.

They are open until a certain advertised time, but every time I call to place an order it is too late and they say no. What is too late? They close at 10pm tonight. I called at 9:32 to place an order and they said they stopped cooking about 10 minutes ago. This happened two times in the past. Who stops cooking 30 minutes before they close? I'm terribly disappointed in Civera's and will no longer attempt to order anything from them. False advertising? Poor service? Shame shame...

Love this neighborhood deli. Boar's Head lunch meat is a plus and they make my fave Turkey Special and Italian Hoagie.

Great steaks, always fresh and reliably tasty. Prices are a little high. The cannolis are great!
