It was 3 days of intense training and technique. The head coach Arson, is very knowledgeable about wrestling and the mind of the wrestler. That makes all the difference. One of the days I came in early and over heard a group discussion. The current LPC wrestlers were encouraging the high schoolers about the importance of prioritizing your life and putting God first and that a good wrestler needs to keep his grades up for scholarships. They also had the financial counselor come in and talk to the high schoolers about college applications, financial aid, FASFA etc. All of this information was helpful and above and beyond our expectations from a wrestling camp. Thank you! Great things are happening in the wrestling team at LPC.

Last but not least, Life Pacific University has hidden true colors and intentions. Coming from someone who has not entirely left the school to transfer to another institution or made a commitment to return as a second year I was flabbergasted when I heard one of LPU's lead during a tour tell the prospective student and their parents lie about several things leaning towards what they would get out this school. The school is very very tiny so the administration and the key staff will know what goes on with the students because nothing stays hidden. Therefore, LPU is HIGHLY selective about who they allow into their student leadership positions on campus in order to protect the school's (un)-reliable representation and reputation. This means there is a lot of favoritism involved rather than truly seeing the student's value, passion, integrity, AND CHARACTER. Instead, it is only about fitting the brand name and looks of LPU. Especially, when it comes to the chapel's worship team, R.A. position, and admissions team. It is really sad here to see what this school would do to increase its profit rather than seeing the true needs of this campus. No coincidence that the graduation rate is low (LOOK AT THE STATS). These facts are true so don't let dull words at the student previews try to trick you into going into something that isn't being held to the standard they are convincing you it is. On the other hand, dorm life and student life aren't TOP priorities. Education is the only thing best so far. Besides the majority of staff and faculty who leave this place, they quickly come and go after realizing this place isn't what they thought either. Faculty tries to keep everything under the surface to convince a different story of how staff really act. I can't tell you enough or the exact # of staff that have left or been replaced before I enrolled here and until the end of the semester. Whatever the main cause of leaving is left many faculty members are overworked and underpaid as they are filling in gaps as dual/adj. positions. If I failed to mention, allow me to apologize but Life Pacific Univeristy is far from a private Christian higher education, it is by no comparison different from any other secular/non-Christian university. They use it all for the brand name to convince you otherwise. Last year before the holiday break, we had a security man named Bruce who would often give off weird vibes to women on campus by starring for estranged time of minutes from afar distance without suitable reason and was reported as being overly friendly which distracted him from his original work. Numerous complaints got him fired and replaced by a new security team.

My son (26) became a CW after completing college and hating the job he got after graduating. I am proud of him and how excited he is about the future. They provide a job search service and get the student prepared for the work force. He's in the last portion of the instruction and hopefully lands a good job and applies the skills I can't recommend this place enough for a great start on a career

Luke and his team are incredibly professional instructors who are truly dedicated to bringing out the best in each student. Ladies, if you're feeling a bit intimidated or worried that you'll be treated differently, don't be. The only thing you really need to survive AFA is a sense of humor (that goes for the guys too) I remember sitting in college, debating whether it was the right path for me or if I should take the leap and pursue a trade. I'm beyond glad I did. I have absolutely no regrets about attending AFA. Ralph, Ronnie, Doc, and Kyle not only taught me during my time there, but they continue to teach and support me even after graduation. Whether I need extra practice or advice, before an interview or for a weld test their doors are always open. Luke, Robert, Marcio, and Gus have also been incredibly supportive and instrumental in helping me grow in my welding career. Never in a million years did I think I'd find myself in aerospace, but here I am and I couldn't have done it without the amazing team at AFA. And of course, shoutout to the wonderful ladies in the office, they are always a delight to talk to and often the highlight of my day. Whatever I needed, they were there to help. P.S. Sorry it took me so long to leave a review... I've been busy working at the jobs you guys helped me get!
