Amazing is not the best to say about this business...it is top notch!!!! Great people and students...a 100 % for sure!

*Client Perspective* I do not recommend this place for paid services (face) as you can get the same value by going to a professional electrologist and have the confidence that they are doing it correctly and quickly. My issue is not with the electrologists as they are learning, but with the business not being fair in how they charge for services. Professionals only charge for hair removal time, but here the owner is including check-in, setup, and catapherisis (at the end) time which is usually 20-25 min. For an hour appt today, I had 35 minutes of actual treatment. On a prior visit, I had 5 minutes of hair removal for an hour session because the "senior" technician had not worked on the chin and could not remove the hair despite poking me dozens of times with the needle/probe. I brought these issues to the owner's attention because it is unethical how they are charging customers and not being transparent. Instead of using this feedback to improve business practices, she suggested I find another place. If the owner wants customers to be altruistic by giving students practice, then she should not be charging for any services since it is already benefiting her for-profit school and students. I am barely clearing my chin out in 8 sessions, as students remove approx. 40-50 hairs per hour compared to over 200 hairs by professionals. The value for your money and time is the same as going to a professional. I have found several electrologists in the area that are $90 per hour. The $20 per hour will cost the same in the long-run if the professional is removing 4x the rate as a student and more experienced to provide permanent results. read more

The Staff is simply wonderful, the students are Brilliant. If you look at the photo posted the white areas where not worked on And you can see the little dots, In between the blue is where the student worked, as you can see those dots are all gone. The student only worked on the area between the blue lines not wear the white circles are and you can dramatically see how clear my skin became after electrolysis. This photo was taken about 18 days after my treatment. I have tried for so long to get rid of those dots I did everything laser and waxing and sugaring, Creams and oils and lotions nothing seem to work. I most of the time let the students pick what area they wanna work on because they're trying to get time on different hair follicles, because I thought nothing was going to change I did not do a before photo of the area that was worked on. I wish I did it is Dramatically different. The student that picked that area I remember them saying they wanted to work there. This was a student, I had been to pros with lasers and still had those dots. These students are so well trained that I was shocked. So I called the school and asked could electrolysis have cleared up my skin Or was it because I was trying a new lotion. The owner of the school called me back and explain to me that in fact that is a byproduct of great attention to detail. And that i should not be putting harsh Chemicals on my skin. So I stopped, and my skin got clearer. I am so ecstatic, I did not like those dots at all. To think Of all the time and effort I had spent and now to have clear skin. This place is hands-down amazing. I'm not saying that this place will clear up your skin because you probably eat like a third grader. What I am saying is that they cleared up my skin yay. read more

If you are ready to learn a new profession and change your future, this is THE place. The owners/instructors, Johanne and Joanie, are at the top of the industry and in addition to being excellent electrologists, they are wonderful teachers, too. They are patient and kind, but will also challenge and push you every day to become better. CEA is very flexible with scheduling, which allowed me to stay in my job and come to school in a way that fit my schedule. That was a game-changer for me! School days are jam-packed, including many, many hours of hands-on work with a diverse group of models (arranged by the school). This real-world experience is crucial. We also learned what it takes to actually create a career as an electrologist (business planning, marketing, etc.), so I felt ready at graduation to put what I learned into practice. My new business is now open! I can't recommend this school and the people behind it enough - and I kind of wish I could go back to school and do it all again! read more

I am a client reviewing what I see when I get electrolysis done. This place is clean. The students are professionals and kind and patience. So far I had the pleasure of Coco, Eriko, Tessa, and Ani eliminating hair for good on my armpits and legs then eventually my bikini area. They use all new probes and when done they put soothing cream then use a process call Cataphoresis to constrict blood flood to the area, close the pores, neutralize the lye, and so many other benefits. I know this because they explain it to me from day 1. Speaking of day 1, they explained the differences in hair stages and the different modalities of electrolysis. The teachers are great, Joanna and Joannie. I ask and they answer. Joanna has been in the electrolysis industry for over 40 years so I believe she is a legend in electrolysis. Joannie has a great personality and approachable for questioning. I can see that they care for their students because it's their reputation on the line. They would come to observe the students, show them what's wrong and teach them the right way. For example explaining the importance of ergonomics to prevent injuries. They teach everything about machine settings to knowledge on electrolysis. I love this place and the people. read more

I have had Electrolysis done a few years ago at a different school and it was ok, I am 5 sessions in at CEA and I love going there the instructors really instill confidence in their students. I have a noticeable reduction with my facial hair (I didn't have to shave last week!) but the best part is something called Cataphoresis they really make sure your skin is calmed down after treatment, they send you home with everything you need to continue care. They place is very clean and serene I could easily nap while they work on me, highly recommend letting these students work on you! read more
