This is my second time coming here and let's say I should've never gave this place a chance again the first time I had went they had charged me around $80 for color and fill in for my gel x. After two days, the gel polish started lifting off my nail. I had also noticed that my gel X nails underneath were curving. This time around though really ticked me off. I had went to get a removal of acrylics and gel. When I first got there, the lady, I believe her name was Alexandra was very kind. I won't lie to you. She was very professional. She took my nails off no problem however, then she passed me to a different girl. This girl was going to be doing my gel manicure. When she had asked what I wanted to do to my nails, I had explained to her the design which I don't believe was intricate at all. It was very simple. She explained that she could not do that when she told me that she couldn't do it. She was halfway done with taking the remaining acrylic off my nail, but I could still see acrylic was on several of my nails. In this, she also cut me not once but three times on the bottom of my nail. If everyone knows what I'm talking about it's the skin that grows with your nail at the bottom. Let's just say it was very painful and it's still very painful. When I told her I wanted to go to a different salon because I wanted the specific design she changed her attitude real quick. I still explained to her I would pay for the removal of the acrylic to which she said oh no, I did a manicure on you which she did not. How are you gonna tell me that you did a manicure on me when I still see my cuticles not cut three of my nails still have acrylic on them and you cut me three times. I then asked OK how much is it gonna be to which she asked her boss and the boss also agreed to only charge me for the removal of the acrylic. Let's just say I will not be going back here again and I suggest others don't because what you are about to pay is not worth the quality that you're gonna get with your nails. Trying to charge me almost $50 to cut me. Have acrylic still on my nails and not do the simple design that I asked.

During one of my visits, I experienced a situation where an employee was speaking about me in another language, and it made me feel singled out and uncomfortable. Based on the interaction, I felt that I was being treated differently, and I believed there may have been racial bias involved. I brought my concerns to the owner, hoping to resolve the issue professionally. Instead, I was told that I was no longer welcome at the business because I had missed an appointment. That missed appointment occurred while my grandmother was hospitalized, and I believe the circumstances were not taken into consideration. The owner also told me that the staff had held a meeting about me, which made the situation even more upsetting. After my experience, I no longer feel comfortable supporting this business, and I wanted to share what happened so others can make their own informed decisions before choosing to go I also want to mention that a similar situation happened to my friend, who is also a person of color. Based on both of our experiences, I believe there is a pattern in how customers of color are treated. Dora was also very rude and unprofessional throughout these interactions. My father is an attorney, and he will be taking legal action regarding my experience with this business. My friends are also looking for new lash techs and will no longer support business . They just lost a lot of customers The owner reached out and is still not taking accountability. I told them that I had an issue and they never acknowledged the discrimination that I faced. Second of all I've sent many customers there and I've always been on time during the grace period . So don't make an excuse as if that's the problem. Third of all, I've only gone to Chelsea and only liked Chelsea so they could've continued to book me with her instead discredit my feelings and told me that I wasn't welcome because I brought an issue to them now they want to respond because they know that they are wrong and again we will be taking legal matters. Also, now I have proof that you just told somebody that they said that they were discriminated and not to make that as an excuse that's worse on you. I also reached out to the business several times trying to resolve it through text and they blocked me and never Responded, They're only acknowledging me because it makes their business look bad me and me and Chelsea never had issues. She would even talk to me about her kids schooling troubles, so you're making up excuses. That was a troubling experience however I have found a salon, more professional, and the quality is way better than Moon Lash. Please take your money somewhere else. They do not acknowledge you and it is not worth it. When I shared my experience, they couldn't believe that happened. They have never had to tell a customer because of a complaint. They are no longer welcome.

Although the lashes themselves were not badly done, they looked nothing like what I requested. I ended up with a very bold mega volume look that did not flatter my face at all. It completely changed my appearance in a way I wasn't comfortable with. I reached out respectfully afterward and explained that they were too bold and not what I asked for, especially since this was my first lash experience. I asked if she could accommodate me with a removal or some kind of correction, but I was told I would have to pay again for both the removal and a new set. For $120, I expected better communication and a result closer to the references I provided. If you like very bold/full lash styles, her work may work for you, but if you want a softer wispy cat-eye look, I would be cautious and make sure you discuss it very thoroughly beforehand.

Excitement filled the air as I entered the salon. The place looked lovely, with soft music playing and a friendly receptionist to greet me. I chose a vibrant shade of red for my nails and settled into a comfy chair. The technician, however, seemed inexperienced from the start. She began by roughly filing my nails, ignoring my instructions to be gentle. The troubles continued when she started applying the nail polish. Her hand was shaky, and the polish ended up smeared all over my fingers. She attempted to correct it, but the result was far from perfect. My nails were lumpy, uneven, and the color was unevenly distributed. As if that weren't enough, the final blow came when she accidentally smudged the freshly painted nails while reaching for a phone call. It was evident that she lacked attention to detail and professionalism. I was devastated, but I tried to remain patient, hoping she could salvage my nails. However, the technician's attempt at fixing the mess only made it worse. My nails looked like a chaotic artwork of blobs and streaks. The more she tried to rectify it, the more my nails resembled a disaster zone. I could barely recognize my own hands. With a heavy heart, I decided to cut my losses and end the ordeal. I've had permanent eyebrows for over 20 years.Needless to say I'm kinda of an expert when it comes to knowing quality work because I've had them touched up every so often at different establishments. This time I decided to do micro blading instead of the full Tatoo & Jenny did a fabulous job at integrating the micro blading with my old solid tatoo. We kept the shape I had because I was happy with it, but Jenny perfected it by evening it out & adding her magic touch in areas that needed it! I can truly say that from my 20 years experience I've finally found a person that is as particular and perfectionist as I am. Jenny is patient and knowledgeable. I just got my eyelashes done by Jenny & she is amazing. She definitely knows what she is doing. This was my first getting eyelash extensions & she explained to me everything I needed to know. Her workplace is very clean & the environment she provides is very soothing & relaxing. She's really nice & is willing to work with you when trying to schedule an appointment with her. & did I mention her prices are very reasonable as well. She without a doubt gave me what I asked for. Very very happy with how my eyebrows turned out. I came in with NO eyebrows and left feeling like a new woman and so beautiful! Jenny spent lots of time making sure they were drawn on perfectly, even to the point we ran short on time. She had another customer to help and I went home to help shape one troublesome brow. I will not be returning to this nail salon. I came in for a pedicure, but the staff insisted that I also get a manicure. During the service, I noticed that the technician was using the same brush on my fingers that had been used on my toes, which raised hygiene concerns. Unfortunately, I have since developed an infection on both fingers, with noticeable swelling and green discharge. She was also giving me color options that wouldn't even match the design. About 35 minutes into my appointment, she rudely told me she was spending too much time on my nails because she had other customers and appointments. I ended up leaving without getting any design. At that point, I was over it. On top of that, the builder gel was poorly done. There were visible holes, hairs, and uneven areas throughout the gel. Overall, the service and quality were very disappointing, and I will not be returning.

I went to get my nails done, originally I wanted to get my nails completely removed and get a new…read moreset done and they quoted me $95 but then said with the 20% discount it would be $76. So I sat down and waited patiently for the nail tech to be done but more people were coming in and I don't mind waiting but instead they decided to pull this guy who was smoking a cigarette outside on his phone who looked like he didn't care or didn't want to be there to do my nails. Umm... ok I guess. I thought to myself but hey I was trying this place out and who knows he might be a really good nail tech so I wasn't trying to judge a book by its cover. So then as he started I noticed he didn't clean my nails or trim my cuticles or anything and I was curious because I've gotten my nails done already from other salons and they've always taken care of my nails and properly prepped them the same ways but this guy was skipping almost every step?! On top of that instead of upselling me he downsold me, I wanted a whole new set because my previous set was chipped and starting to fall off and he said no he had me do a fill instead which I mean if my nails were still go to do a fill than whatever I don't mind saving money but he said it would be $15 cheaper so it should of been $61 but instead I was charged $68. On top of that as he was doing my nails he was not measuring the nails he was not filing them correctly and was not even he wasn't even layering my hands to make sure both hands we're symmetrical I had to keep doing it myself! I had to keep telling him to fix my nails because they were crooked or jagged and I was just kind of frustrated at this point and wanted to get it done and over with. He even was getting the French tip design wrong and had to redo it a few times. By the time we were done my nails looked somewhat decent and I was ready to go because I was just done with it. Oh and he only did one layer of clear coat and didn't even oil my cuticles or anything like that. And it's just him! I saw the nail tech next to him working on a different client and she was getting such a different experience than what I was getting When I got home I re looked at my nails under different lighting and realized he glued hair in my nails which is disgusting and I can't take it out unless I file the nail down, the nail polish is streaky and bubbly and even after all the corrections I had him do some nails are still jagged on the edges and not smooth! I wish I would have gotten the guys name because they have 3 guys there but I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE not unless you get one of the ladies or guys that actually give a shit compared to this man that did my nails cause clearly he did not want to be there and rushed/botched my nails Also it's only been a few days and the nail polish is already falling off.
