If I could give zero stars, I would. Selena has always done a great job, but something is clearly wrong lately with how this place is being run. They are overcharging without any notice. No one tells you that if you don't come within four weeks, they add a $15 charge. Because of this, my prices are constantly changing -- sometimes $12, sometimes $13, sometimes $14 -- with no explanation upfront. I'm not the only one dealing with this. My son goes ,my friends goes here and has been charged $14 as well. My sister goes here too, and she's experiencing the same thing. This is clearly a pattern. You need to fix your pricing and be transparent with customers instead of surprising people with extra charges. Customers deserve to know exactly what they're being charged and why. I have VERY sensitive skin so any threading usually left my brows bruised with scabs for a few days. But here it's rare for me to not look perfect the very next day. Even when the younger employees do the threading I still heal by the next day. Which is great because I can only come on Saturdays. I usually send a text about their hours during holidays like Labor Day to see if they will be open. read more

I drove from Cypress to get to my appointment at 1pm for eyelash services. I arrived 45 minutes early to find out they don't do the services. I had booked a month in advance. I called to confirm half an hour before but no one answer to confirm. They need a better way to manage their appointments and let customers know if they are canceling their appointments. Simple apologize is not going to pay for my gas and time. Other than that the lady that does eyebrows is amazing. Wish I could had gotten the service I had booked way in advance. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now and I really like it here. Selina always does a great job with my eyebrows and takes the time to check that both eyebrows look good. She's very gentle and you even get a little massage above your brows after which is the best. I usually call before I head over to make sure she's available because she also does lashes sometimes and those take a while so rather then waiting there I just go when she's done. She doesn't take her time at all; she burned the bottom of my brows. The job felt incomplete, she left many hairs behind (oddly enough she made it thinner with no shape to them). I've only had my eyebrows threaded one other time and they came out completely uneven so i was really skeptical but i do laundry next door and would always see this place packed so i decided to try it out. The sign on the window says 5.99 however the girl ended up charging me $8 and there's a menu inside that says $7 for brow thread. She did a great job! I wouldn't recommend this place for eyebrows. For face and lip it's okay. I came here once and I waited forever because there's only one girl. She did okay with my eyebrows but I had to be super specific over her only cleaning them and not going in deeper into my arch. Today was my second time there, I figured I would give the place another try. But I'm definitely not coming back. She ruined my eyebrows. Left them super thin :( it's going to take me forever to grow them back. I specifically told her to leave them as thick as possible and it's as if I told her the opposite. WARNING: PLEASE save yourself from the same distress this salon caused me. This place was fine single staffed because you knew it would produce worthy results. Now they have this new older lady that I suspect is working without the necessary cosmetic licensure. Not exaggerating whatsoever, she completely destroyed my eye brows. I told her when she started "just a clean up." I immediately freaked when she handed me the mirror and saw the disaster she created. Without saying anything she walked away and sat back down to await her next victim. The two younger ladies apologized profusely but at that point there was nothing to be done. This old lady removed almost all my eyebrows yet at the same time managed to leave stray hairs everywhere. Look at my before (normal brows) and after pic (disater). I do not understand why they would have her continue working there if this is the quality of work she produces (just read reviews from others). It says a lot for the type of establishment they are. Their standards are obviously lacking. Needless to say, but I will not be returning and considering reporting them to the appropriate licensing boards. read more

I was very nervous about trying a new place but after reading the reviews I convinced myself to give it a chance. I'm impressed with their work and services, but I didn't get the name of the young woman working on me. I mentioned that I have a scar beneath my eyebrow and she said she would shape it where it wouldn't be too thin. She is gentle and took her time to make my brows look great! It is hard to find someone that can shape my brows evenly due to this scar so I am very pleased at the outcome! The temple massage is a great plus at the end. Very clean over all, and good prices.
