Jenny is very professional! She always makes sure you are getting the service you desire. She books you by appointment and ensures she takes you in on time. Her work space is always being sanitized with Lysol and is very clean. Her beds are not just flat but you can also receive a massage while you get your lashes done. Nice way to get pampered and feel great without having to over spend. To each it's own but just knowing she is a licensed beauty technician is a plus. A hidden gem in the area of South Gate will not disappoint.
So, 1 am unfortunately giving this establishment a negative review. I got my brows done 2 years and 11 months ago. I did talk to Jenny about what I wanted and gave her as much details as I can but, she didn't see my vision. My brows came out really dark and the strokes she created don't even look good at all. I opted for a natural brow and wanted just extra hair added on but got this transformation. I obviously LOVED my brow shape but she gave me some wacky 2014 Anastasia Beverly Hills brows that don't match my face shape or eyes so that really sucked! If this is your type of brow then go you but, it wasn't for me. Plus, right after the procedure she DID NOT let us leave until we wrote her a review in front of her. I would NEVER force my clients to do that personally. But, she has done good work, I only give her 3 stars because she disappointed me. Plus, I have had to go to 4+ saline removal appointments. Fortunately, my brows have grown and I can finally see good results but, paying $200 each session to get rid of the tattoo has been a pain on my wallet. I only ask that you are careful of where you go get your brows done because I have dealt with a lot of depression because of this. That's all!

I can't believe this lady has audacity to say she doesn't know who I am and that she believes in Karma! I believe in karma too and the only reason they have good reviews is because they pushes people to do the reviews before they leave the salon. As I stated before, initially it seems as if she did a good job, but please see my picture. I thought after a year it would fade, I was wrong. I'm currently looking into saline removal. I also posted a pic of my original review. STAY AWAY!!! I'm only updating this after so long because I don't want anyone to go through what I'm going through. After more than 4 years, I'm still going through the process of trying to remove what Jenny did. The professional that is assisting me with removal states that Jenny, unfortunately did not know what she was doing and went too deep! She went pass the first layer which is the epidermis into the second layer, the dermis which should not be done! Not only did she create a tattoo instead of Microblading, she permanently damaged my eyebrows hair follicle. I've invested so much money in removal. I know that she is inexpensive, and yes, you get what you pay for... lesson learned. I really hope that she has improved throughout the years. Please PLEASE take the time to do your homework and become informed. Trying to save some money will only cost you more after.

This was my first time trying microblading. I'm terrified of needles, razors, and pretty much any kind of pain. I was super nervous about the whole procedure but after some research I knew I wanted to get my eyebrows done. I heard about Jenny through a co-worker. My overall experience was good. I was Jenny's last costumer for the day. I think she had a very busy day and was probably tired. Her customer service was good. When I got there she greeted me with a handout and some numbing cream. I filled out the handout and about thirty minutes after she applied the numbing cream, she brought me into her working space. The room was fairly clean, a little crowded (she has two working tables) but organized. There was actually another girl in the room but she left shortly afterwards. Jenny was considerate enough to show me that she was using never opened sterilized blades for the process. I appreciated this gesture. She outlined my eyebrows (I don't think she used any measuring tools to do this). I told her that I thought they were a little too thick and that I would like them thinner. She made them thinner but i still thought they were a little too thick. Anyway, she started the process and "Oh My GOSH!" I tried not to think about it but I just couldn't help it. I felt every stroke of the blade at first. It was just a weird experience. I wasn't in agonizing pain but it was a little uncomfortable. My advice is that you try to relax, breathe, and think of something else. Maybe take earphones and listen to (loud) music while she works. She does have music playing in the background but I could still hear every stroke she did. Keep in mind that I'm a big sissy. I don't have much pain tolerance. We did stop a few times to discuss the progress and I did tell her again that I thought they were too thick and not as arched as I like them. She addressed my concerns and did her best to make me happy. Overall, I'm happy so far. She sent me home with advice and instructions on how to take care of my eyebrows during the healing process. She even gave me an ointment to apply directly on my eyebrows. Jenny said that the results should last "two years." I was surprised when she said that because if that's the case, I'm getting my money's worth. She also informed me that the touch-up would be $50 if it's within 6 weeks (or a month... I can't remember) but that it was likely that I won't need a touch-up. In any case, I would go back to her if anything goes wrong because I'm already invested in this process and I might as well do what I can to make sure I'm happy for the next "two years." I will try my best to write an updated review in two months along with a picture of my eyebrows. read more

I have always had thick brows and never ever considered microblading because 1) my eyebrows were full and 2) I HATE pain. However after being diagnosed with stage 4 Triple Negative breast cancer chemo is on the books for treatment and possible long term chemo. Meaning that within 2 weeks of starting I will lose ALL my hair. I had seen some recommending microblading as a way to keep the look of having hair. I was skeptical at 1st but felt it was for the best. So I was on the hunt. Where to go? I was clueless. Then I found Jenny and I am sooo happy I did! After praying and doing a Google search she appeared as a technician nearby. She had great ratings and I appreciated how on her IG she posted actual clients with their real reactions and results right after . And her pricing was good. I contacted Jenny and she was able to see me within 2 days. I was nervous but knew I would be starting treatment soon so I would need to be seen right away. She comforted me and told me she would explain everything when I came in. The day of I was nervous to say the least. She explained what would happen and I explained that I just wanted my natural shape. She then shaped my brows and me and my sis who came with me approved and then the process started. The Process: Jenny shapes your brows so you can see exactly how they will look. She tells you the color that will be used. She constantly checks to make sure things are even. Numbing cream is applied. Then you lay on a covered massage table (the massage was a plus but you can have that feature off if you'd like, for me it was a bonus and a distraction if I needed it...I was still nervous so it helped - along with the music in the background). She also showed that she was using clean/new tools. She started with the 1st etch and checked to see if I was ok. It actually was less pain than I expected. It just felt like scratching. I used to get my eyebrows threaded and this sensation was different. Threading actually makes me tear up but this didn't. It actually went very well. Just a slight scratching feeling. Far less pain or discomfort than I thought and afterwards it just feels sore like after you've nicked yourself with a razor after shaving. The Reveal: After she checks and does any necessary final etched she will have you sit up and she asked if she could record my reaction as she gave me the mirror. I agreed and my sister came in and then I held up the mirror to see. OH MY GOSH!!! My brows were soooo beautiful! I came in all scraggly and would be going out looking so clean! I haven't had my eyebrows done in forever but it's amazing how such a small thing can make you feel so much better. Physically I had been having a hard time dealing with the whole cancer thing and just seeing my eyebrows gave me hope. Even though chemo may take away my hair it feels good to know I will still be able to feel a little normal. I will be able to wake up without having to draw on brows everyday. I'm not certain exactly what it will look like after all my hair is gone but I know it will be better than having no brows and right now my brows look 100% perfect. I love them. If I had known they would look this good I may even had have them done sooner. Thank you Jenny for calming my nervous and making me comfortable during a hard and even emotional time. I am very pleased with her work and will be recommending her to others. read more

Brought my mom to get cover up her old tattoos. And wow Jenny did an amazing job! Only took about 1 1/2 hours. My mom said it didn't hurt at all and is very happy with the results. i wanted to give her a review that she deserves. She is so welcoming and precise. I was so scared. Im scared of needles and I didnt have ANY HAIR on my eyebrows. I put my life in her hands!!! I didnt expect a miracle. First off the music and the massaging chair is a plus. I wanna say I didnt even know she started the procedure!
