First, I sent a message via their website. No response. Then I tried calling and left a message on their voicemail. No response. Finally, I texted the phone number that was mentioned on the voicemail message, and finally got a response. It is now Monday, December 16. The person tells me they are closed for emergency repairs and if I call on the following Monday, they will help me purchase a gift certificate. I confirm that's the 23rd. So on Monday the 23rd, I text again and ask what number I should call to purchase the gift certificate. I get this long text trying to persuade me to purchase a 6-month membership. I decline saying I just need something as a trial for like a month or a few individual sessions and if he likes it then my sister will consider getting a membership. No response. I can see they read the text. And here it is, 2 days before Christmas and I need to scramble to find a gift for my nephew. Absolutely horrible experience. If this is how they are when someone is just trying to give them some business, I can't imagine how they are if you are trying to cancel or there is some issue that doesn't benefit them. Stay away from this place.

I've been hooked ever since. The facility is clean and well-kept, the instructors are awesome and very patient, and the other members are great. I don't know what other BJJ gyms are like but I can't imagine finding one better than this one. I'm an x-HS wrestler and I love the physicality of working out. Running and pushing weights doesn't do it for me. X-Fit boxing is everything I've been needing in my life. Coach Ahmik is awesome. Patient, fun, demanding. He taught me the basics, pushed me to power through the lack of cardio and motivates without being negative. In 5 classes, I've learned multiple punch combos, proper techniques, pivots and so much more. The gym is clean, well kept and welcoming. But it smells like a gym that gets used by those who want to be better. I love it.
