Well she had been asking to get them redone and I saw that Rowan uses registered nurses to do the piercings. Everything is done professionally and they follow policies and procedures for the piercings. The pricing is very reasonable and they have nickel free jewelry, sterling silver options and 14k gold. They have a very simple to use online booking system, and our appointment was right on time even on a very busy day. Definitely a much safer way to get ear piercings.

As soon as I walked in I knew I wasn't going to be taken seriously. One of the women walked away as I proceeded to the counter and announced myself "hi, how are you today?". The woman's response was very bland "good" no smile or eye contact. I could tell immediately that my experience was not going to be a good one. She saw the purse I was trying to sell and said "we won't take that in the plastic... but let me ask". A male stepped out from the back who I assumed was the manager, I thought okay great someone professional. I was wrong. Did not greet and did not introduce himself. He told me they can't accept items that are new with the tag without a receipt. I respectfully understand the policy and went on to ask if he knew of any other pawn shops in the area where the receipt policy didn't apply. He went on to say that none of their locations accept new items without receipts but did not answer my question. Feeling defeated I said "thanks" and walked out. I had a second thought then decided to walk back in and ask the woman if I removed the plastic and tags if I could sell it to them the following day since it won't be a "new" item anymore. She said "no, we've already seen the bag" again no eye contact, and was on her phone. I felt this comment was extreme poor customer service, rude and unprofessional considering I was taking their policy seriously and they just refused to help me. This is the first time I have ever stepped foot into this pawn shop chain but needless to say I will never be walking into a Best Pawn ever again.
