Gladys was so kind and helpful! I was nervous about choosing and purchasing a wig as I am expected to lose my hair w/chemo. She was patient, gentle, and knowledgeable and made the whole process so much easier. Thank you, Gladys. read more

Coming from Houston I needed to find me a good beauty supply. There aren't many beauty supplies on this side of town and the north side of San Antonio so I'm grateful I didn't have to drive toooo far. Shoutout to Daily's. read more

Daily Beauty Supply - The store - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

The price of all items are crazy high. The staff act like you are going to steal something and to get someone to help you is like asking to borrow money...lol...don't think I will be coming back to this place read more

I live for a good beauty supply store! The beauty supply store is Black girl sanctuary. This store is the closest beauty supply store to me. It's very organized and clean. They have a lot of different brands for hair products and they just about have everything the brand sells. The prices are a bit higher than larger chain stores. I love going up and down the aisles and getting ideas of how to use the product. They have a large selection of hair as well with a lot of different colors. I think the best part of the store is the wig section. The wig section is it's own room and all the wigs are placed so that you can see them easily. They have a lady who maintains the section and assists you she is very nice and friendly. The store has a makeup section that carries a lot of the NYX brand. They also have different brands of black soap and butters for your skin care regime. They have some great hair accessories like braid jewels, clips, bonnets, scarves, turbans, etc. I do wish they carried more jewelry through. read more

They sell crappy hair & crappy customer service .. I don't even feel like wasting my time writing a review for this place honestly.................. read more

Excellent service, my mom needed a hairpiece and the gal that helped her was experienced, helpful and efficient. We described what we needed, she listened and found us exactly what she wanted on the first try. Quick and easy. read more

I've been to better beauty supply stores. Worker in wig area completely ignored me for 15 minutes; had to find another worker in the store for assistance with buying a wig. Would not recommend this place! read more

I visited the store with my mom to check out some wig options. Neither of us have any experience with this but Billie was so helpful and sweet explaining everything and made my mom feel so comfortable. We ended up with the perfect wig that seems like it was just made for her! I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know experiencing hair loss from any health related issues or just looking to try something new. read more

I would give them more stars if I could. I have been sorely disappointed by other beauty shops in the past, not this one! Amazing selection, amazing quality products, even better customer service. I won't be going anywhere else to buy extensions from now on. They have a huge assortment of other beauty products as well. Check them out, you will not be disappointed! read more

I have shopped from this store twice during my visit here in San Antonio. Figured I'd leave a review. They have all the products needed and the customer service is friendly. However, today, sadly, as the older Asian lady, who I thought was just the sweetest, got physical with me. Granted, I know she meant no harm, but I'm a 29 year old man. Yes, I'm queer and I try to be friendly with everyone. However, that does not permit no one to play hit with me. She hit with with the hair package, then with her fist to my arm, and a shove to my back. In the moment, I was thinking, is she really doing this?! Why is she doing this?!?! What did I do to make her think this was okay. Maybe she's trying to express her affection?! I enjoyed shopping at this establishment, however, please keep your hands to yourself. If I had of nutted up and went off, I'd be in jail. Everyone is battling mental health and responds differently. Addition, I called the store and spoke with one of the associates. She listened to my feedback but I don't believe she was receptive. Again, just keep your hands to yourself. read more

My mom and I went in to find a wig as she is starting chemo this week. Gladys helped us and was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. She was very patient and made great suggestions! If I could give her 10 stars I would!!! Thank you Gladys! read more

After a totally bad experience with Magic Wigs, my husband and I decided to go to Daily Beauty. I wish we had visited this establishment first. We received a lot of attention and everyone was nice especially Gladys. I was feeling a little nervous and intimidated because I'm a first-time buyer, but, she made me feel better and she helped me as best as she could. Thank you, Gladys, for your help, your professionalism, and your kindness. It is much appreciated!!! read more

Most horrible experience. When looking for wigs I asked the girl there for about 10 wigs of a brown color and she said for every single wig that they did not have brown no Brown no Brown and I said do you know how ridiculous that sounds that you're telling me and you're not even going to the back and looking and then she's like well if you don't like that then you can go somewhere else and I said I know what I can do you don't need to tell me b**** and then then I just purposely decided on a wig and she grabbed it out of my hand really rough and she ran her fingers through it tearing you know some hairs in the wig then she wanted to charge me over $100 for that wig so I went ahead and looked at a different wig and when I grabbed it off there all the heads in the wigs fell everywhere she said I need to pick him up and I said no you need to do your f****** job and pick that s*** up and I left never again read more

I have to rate this place five stars because I've been to other African-American beauty supply stores here and this one is really great. I really like the fact that they offer you so many different selections. Although this one is not as large as a few of the other ones that I've been to it is a great size but the one thing I really like about this place is the customer service. Usually when I go there I can get good quality hair and the customer service is really good. They offer a great advice and I seem to always get my moneys worth. I've never had any issues. Also the wig section is really nice I'm able to try on the wigs and it's just a nice setting that they have in this place. I also like the fact that they offer a military discount as well. read more

An abundance of hair products and extensions. Plus I want to thank Rochelle for her great customer service & tips. Always appreciated on every visit! read more

The employees and owner was very friendly and helpful. This is a great black hair & beauty supply store. They an abundance of products and different brands. They appear to keep up with the latest products and trends as well. I will definitely be back for all my needs. It took me forever to find a black hair store. I've been in San Antonio 3 years and I live in Greater San Antonio, the only hair store I was familiar with was the one in Converse which is way to far. I'm so glad I found this one it's much closer! read more

I went here to buy a wing for my roommate starting drag and knew nothing. The women who helped me was so nice and gave me great advice getting everything together he needed. I mean EVERYTHING all the care products, wig cap, glue. She was awesome if you're in the market for a great wig and good service at a reasonable price go to daily beauty supply. read more

Best place to find hair care products for African Americans in San Antonio. It's very clean inside and they have every kind of product you could think off. It's just past North Star Mall, which is a plus because I used to drive all the way over to the east side of town. read more

I am from out of town and my sister brought me to this store. Great selection, Friendly staff, and comparable pricing. They have a very good variety of just about everything makeup, hair, accessories, etc. -- full service wig area-although I did not use this service. I am from Georgia and there are hair stores literally across the street on from each other on every street. I was surprised at how few stores were in SA considering the size of the city. This store was clean, well kept, and in a convenient location. I typically shop online for wigs--on this trip we bought marley hair , Rastafri Dana Braid and some hair accessories. I will be going back later in the week to look at wigs and will write a new review for that. read more

They have alot of inventory. The workers are helpful and sweet. The owner never spoke to me . Maybe a manager? Asian lady she didn't greet me or say come again. Staff was amazing. They will cut or style your wig. They were all 3 very helpful. I think it was Wanda Linda and the 3rd lady was leaving after working there for 17 years. read more

The lady with the super stupid long nails followed me around the store smh mind you I have a wallet full of cash!! Of course I'm black!! Pissed me off and she was Mexican not even whit like who are you to judge meI mean i was looking a lot rough but it's my off day lol idiocy!! read more

I was so amazed how great of customer service this store had. The people were very helpful. I mean I fell in love with Mrs Billy who works in the wig department. This is the first hair store where you feel like you are at a salon. I have never in my life seen anything like this. If you buy a wig, they will cut it for you. You have salon stylist working at this store. So very nice. I was amazed and because of the great customer service and hospitality of the workers, I will be going back. If you go ask for Mrs Billy if you plan on buying a wig. She will put it on your head, brush it, and ensure you like it before purchasing. She will tell you honestly if it fits your face. Just amazing. read more

I went on hopes of finding a decent wig as my I hate my awkward growing out stage hair. I was done with extensions because they didn't even last a week! I was talked into giving extensions another try, but going to someone familiar with Caucasian hair. What a blessing!!!! Sunny, the owner, matched my hair perfectly and sent me on my happy way to the gal that did my hair. Yay!!!!! I couldn't be happier with them and the product they sold me!!! read more

LOVE THIS STORE! The staff are friendly but not overly solicitous. They have EVERYTHING you could possibly want no matter your race or level of experience. The prices and quality are excellent. Pros:* Pretty good selection of hair goods and hair. Remi, extensive outré selections, goddess, sensational, etc. *STUDENT and MILITARY discount of 10% *full wig salon *Customers range in personality: chickenheads, church ladies, chicas, the bridge club and bingo ladies, cancer survivors, snoots from I-10 by the Rim, beauticians, plus your grandma and aunt Pam. *I assume this shop can appeal to the occasional budgeting drag/bio queen--there are colorful lashes and eyelid adhesive jewelry, crazy contact lens, and tons of neon colored kanekalon(sp?) (synthetic). Cheapy headbands and sultan caps too. *Also this is prob a good hub for cosplay/costume wig makers needing colorful synthetics in bulk or in Diy 4-6 piece sets and costume eye contacts. *NYX Line is almost in full force there! They have e/s singles, trios, lipstick, Nail polish, brushes--just alot. *Really good supply aisle: so many types of pins, rollers, product, etc. -- although those clips that hold rollers without leaving a crimp? You could get a huge bulk pack at sallys instead a set of 10 at daily. *7 days to return unopened merch and non-messed w/ weave hair w/ receipt. Wigs and hairpieces are a no. ¿Pro/Con? *friendly staff, for the most part. They have their strengths but the main weakness I find is patience, knowledge of their stock, ability to recommend hair to clients. I was helped by DENISE, who apparently is licensed in hair coloration and was amazingly helpful! Got me a color and the same color w/ a highlight and I was set! *The owner, Sunny, used to keep her parrots at the shop but she now has a tiny, timid terrier-that's scared of kids. If you have allergies that are extreme, I guess avoid her? She's so friendly and cute though :3 Con: *Though they have sliding walls of human hair; the staff can't find a thing sometimes. It can be a mess and a toss up for finding the brand, color, type, or hair you need. Denise dug through hair to find a color she thought I'd like, which I did, but she had a hunch and thought it was there. As i mentioned before, staff are friendly for the most part but don't know their stock-except Denise. *Return policy is kinda good but bad. You can't return cosmetics, have them damage them out, and give you your money back. I can understand wigs and headpieces maybe but if cosmetics suck give me the $3 back. Geez. *Remi is pretty guaranteed to last but in other kinds of hair I would recommend doing your own research via online reviews of hair. I used hairsisters.com. I was about to make a purchase till a vid on my smartphone kicked on and then I jumped out of line to get a different brand of hair. Staff will tell you they haven't heard any complaints but what they say is a last resort. Not saying the staff is deliberately lying to get the not so good stuff off the shelves but like any other thing you'd purchase word of mouth and reviews are better. Summary: ((+)) good selection, most professionally stocked and professional looking store I've been to yet. As far from ghetto as possible, good quality hair behind the desks (excluding Beverly Johnson), military AND STUDENT (didn't have before) discount of 10%, moderately alright return and exchange policy ((--))Lack of knowledge w/ some of staff (excluding Denise), know what you're looking for and look up reviews before hand, the WTF w/ the NO return policy on cosmetics? Take the hit and return the money. read more

I absolutely LOOOOVE Daily's! I'm from Houston and there are beauty supply stores like on every corner but once I moved here it was hard to find a REAL beauty supply store. And by REAL I mean NOT Sally's -___-. A beauty supply store is supposed to be just that, a store that supplies beauty products like hair extensions, hair products, hair tools, makeup, and nail polish. Most importantly it has to appeal to different ethnic groups which is something I feel like Sally's is lacking but it's still a great bss. I love Daily's because they have EVERYTHING no matter what hair type you are or what preferences you have. If you are natural they have an array of products that are all amazing, relaxed girls get a whole aisle, straight hair girls get love too. The hair selection is ridonculous lol, braiding hair, yaky hair, synthetic hair, Indian hair...the list goes on and on. There's even a built in hair salon, why not just get your hair done there? There used to be a parrot in the front that actually talked to the customers that came in, no lie. My head must have exploded when I heard it say "Hello, welcome!" when I walked in, I was in utter amazement lmao. Then she later got a white dog that wore a Daily's apron that played with people in the store, cutest dog ever. The owner gives college students a discount so be sure to bring your school ID. One time I forgot my ID and the owner wasn't in, they wouldn't give me the discount even though I come in often, but whatevs. The employees are awesome, they are so helpful in assisting you on what hair to choose. Only thing they're missing is....jewelry! Even though I'm not too keen on bss jewelry, seeing poorly made plastic hoops does something for my hoodrat soul haha. read more

I go here once a year or so to buy everything from makeup for stage to wigs. Unlike Liz from Fort Worth, I receive very good help from the wig department (I'm also white.) They have tons of choices in eyelashes, lipsticks, and hair accessories. Four stars instead of five only because they don't carry Ben Nye pancake makeup; otherwise, they'd have everything I need for stage. read more

The folks here were SUPER helpful and friendly and did not mind at all that I was a guy looking for a wig for Halloween. Awesome selection!

So this was my first time coming to this location and I'll never go back. Don't get me wrong they have everything you need but the women that was working was RUDE.! I simply asked her "what are good products for re-twisting dreads" and she leads me to the isle and points to the products. I then told her I wasn't wanting wax because of all the build up (meaning suggest something else) And she tells me "DONT ASK FOR WAX IF YOU WANT GEL" Ummm I didn't ask for wax.???? I just asked for a good PRODUCT. Never again will I return and I'll be sure to tell my family and friends not to go there either read more

Great Beauty Supply store, friendly staff and very helpful. The cleanest and neatest supply store I have ever seen along with a HUGE selection to choose from. The dog is timid, but very friendly. read more
