After spending around $6K, at the very end of the process, it couldn't go through because the neighbor hadn't paid their property taxes for 2 years. I feel like this should have been looked at in the very beginning of the process, before taking so much money to do work that has no actual result. Why would they wait until the end to check this easily accessible information that is an absolute show stopper? At the end, they got paid, the county got paid, and I got nothing at all to show for it. For specific tasks, they are probably great at what they do. But when asking and paying extra for turnkey guidance, I feel like I got taken for a ride so they could get paid for work that never had any affect on the goals I had, and just drained $6000 from my savings. When I pay for a professional in their field, I feel like I am justified in expecting results, not just going through an expensive process that benefits them with no real guidance. I hoped they would try and somehow make this right, but they got their check, the county got their checks, and I never heard from them again. Felt like purposeful negligence, I don't really post reviews online, but this experience has really left me with a bit of resentment.

He agreed to do the inspection the day after we contacted him. As we did the walk through with him, he provided a number of very helpful suggestions, but felt that the house (from the 1860s) was in very good shape. In addition, unlike many other inspectors, he is an engineer and was able to provide guidance on structural matters (which fortunately was fine).
