Good atmosphere, great staff, great location very cool building but food is very mid, I'm better off making my own at home and saving the money not to mention it's pricey! I wish they would focus on their menu to make more items fresh, less frozen and trim the menu so they can focus on more fresh ingredient's.

Wow wow wow is all I got to say about this place took my daughter and granddaughter to lunch on a girls day today, their food was amazing the service was impeccable, the ambiance of the whole establishment was amazing. My daughter and I had an olive burger the best hands down ( ask for well done if you want it well done), she also had her first margarita (strawberry), she said was amazing. My granddaughter had a cheeseburger. The sliced pickles were humongous. Over all a little pricey but well worth it.

Food and service was real delightful. The food was a little cold, though we had a large party and it all came out at the same time. Quiet music fills the air and they are quick at cleaning tables for the next group. They are changing with the times, so beware of the 3.5% card processing fee before tax, but no forced gratuity on large parties.

Lunch was great...wide range of options. Cobb salad comes in two sizes and the small was plenty. Delicious roll came with it. Soup and salad combo was a hit too. Excellent waitress! Kept water coming and very attentive. Fun atmosphere with retro feel. A super spot to stop for lunch between Detroit and Chicago.

Excellent food. Huge menu with variety for all. Very good service and such a cool historical building. The shaded garden seating along the river is a perfect atmosphere. We enjoyed the live music outside. Prices are provide a wide range for all appetites. We love to stop here when passing through and will be back!

Dinner with co workers. Sat outside. Service was rather slow. Food was excellent. Started with appetizers. Wings , bread sticks, salads . Every says great . I had a large Cobb salad for my entire . Excellent. One of my co workers said his steak had zero seasoning.

Old train station that convert into a beautiful restaurant. If you are in town it is a land mark that you have to try. You are not here for food but the atmosphere. Food wise, don't try anything risky and stick with the basic like sandwich and burgers like everybody else. Our fish was dry as hell, I am guessing they weren't hot sale items. Squash spaghetti is a very good side to try.. Waitress and bartender are the same person so service is slow. There are a lot of people working but none of them serve food.

The location and ambiance is the best part of this restaurant. So charming and cute. I love the details. We enjoyed walking around and marveling at the woodwork, stain glass windows massive fireplace and decorations. The menu is huge. There should be something for everyone. My sandwich was pretty good. It was not outstanding but pretty good. Very satisfactory. Husband had a mushroom and Swiss burger, which he enjoyed. It had brown gravy which gave it good flavor. Our waiter told us that they have music in the summer. It looked like there was a lovely outdoor eating area. They also have Sunday brunch, which you need reservations for. I would recommend this restaurant.

The building boasts an all brick façade, with columns and a dated '1913' granite marker on the left front corner. There is a granite boulder on the front lawn with a special brass plaque that reads: "The tablet erected by the citizens of Battle Creek in connection with the centennial celebration 1931, marks the place which was builded, in 1831, the first dwelling in Battle Creek." I find it interesting that the word 'Builded' was used in place of 'Built', but perhaps that was the correct grammar of the day when this was unveiled. The location of the Masonic Temple in Downtown Battle Creek is more significant by testimony of this sign, than just the architecture itself. The building was erected on the site of the first dwelling in Battle Creek. The Masonic Temple in Downtown Battle Creek has made their facility available to the public as an event or reception hall, and they offer a full kitchen and have made available several historic rooms for weddings, church gatherings, etc. I did not take any interior photos out of respect to the Masons who are the caretakers of the place, but the interior is wonderful in many ways with marble floors, and beautiful carved hardwood surfaces. The well cared for interior is a very classic style, mixing the designs of several eras, and genres. The Masonic Temple in Downtown Battle Creek is located between City Hall and the Justice Center, and has its own parking, and it is easy to find from the M-66 corridor that runs into downtown. Reservations are required to use the facility, but usually scheduling in advance is not a problem. During the week visitors are welcome to stop by and request a tour, and if the caretaker is there, he will often tell you some history. When you consider that many of the founding fathers of our country were Masons, such as Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Samuel Adams, Thomas Jefferson and even Marquis De Lafayette one feels like one is walking into timelessness of solidarity within the walls of the temple.

Not a good place to book any events. The people who run the building consistently double book…read moreevents and don't let you know. I would seek other, more updated establishments to give my money to.

Featured events are: an annual Easter Egg Hunt complete with the Easter Bunny, Buccaneer Bash, SteamDream Expo, BlackRock Medieval Fest, Frontier Days, Music Festivals and the ever popular Haunted Hallows! We had the pleasure to attend the 2018 BlackRock Medieval Fest for the first time this summer! On a secluded 35 acres - you begin your adventure by turning onto a long winding drive (seems kind of sketchy at first) that takes you deep in the woods and opens back up to a huge field that is used for parking. As you walk up to the gate at BlackRock Medieval Fest you are greeted with smiles and the "no outside food or drink allowed inside" sign. Once inside you can enjoy live entertainment: live jousting, live action steel combat, 6 stages of entertainment, and live music. You can also enjoy fresh food and cold beverages (Including BEER!) that will quench your thirst and fill your belly. If it's shopping you like - lots of vendors are available with a wide variety of items for purchase from clothing to goblets. So many things to do and see but never enough time! General admission is only $10 at the gate, and children 12 & under are free! Overall: A solid 5 stars - the perfect destination to go and get a glimpse of a time gone bye.

Tucked back in the woods just outside of Augusta, my first impression (3 years ago) upon turning onto the long winding entrance drive , was that this would be the perfect start to a cheesy slasher flick. Directional signs that appeared to be handwritten added to the effect. So to say I had low expectations for the experience would be spot on. Happy to say I was totally wrong! Fast forward to the present. I was excited to return to the Blackrock fest after my previous visit. And I wasn't disappointed. The way that Olde World Village is setup makes the entire Blackrock experience so much better. Everything just flows together and is easily accessible. I love how each show has it's own stage or area so that multiple acts can be simultaneously run without interrupting each other. Gives the visitor more bang for their buck. Plenty of easy parking. Easily accessible porta-johns. It is dirt/gravel parking so don't wear your best shoes. This location is perfect for historical simulations. I believe they also have a pioneer festival, and a pirate fest or steampunk fest at various times also. You should check out at least one of them!
