I had no reason not to trust them,but then I got screwed in a major way. I ended up paying $860 for a small windshield. When I called the lady who answers the phone Laura Espinoza, she was extremely rude, condescending, and told me I was an idiot. Please be careful with these people, they are greedy and rude to no end. The guy was an hour late and was rude to my wife and young son. I am so disappointed with these people.

My car is a frequent victim and so I often need repairs. After being sideswiped on a snowy evening last December, Carstar Riverside fixed up my Mazda as good as new. The repair job was great, and the customer service was excellent. It is not one of those intimidating car repair shops. Believe me, I've been to those...where the very air is thick with condescension. It isn't like that at this place. Just last month I was hit again, this time by the USPS and Carstar was first on my list for getting an estimate. The process took 20 minutes at most and everyone there was friendly and professional.

I had my car towed to Carstar in riverside. the tow service forgot about my vehicle on Monday so it arrived on Tuesday the 14. carstat said they couldn't find the keys so I came and found the keys. they told me it would be a few weeks before they could even look at the vehicle. I understood that with all the ice it could take a little while. after weeks go by I went back and they told me that it was going to be a while longer because they only had one lift to work on the vehicles that are not drivable. I called the insurance company and voiced my concern about finding another shop and they were against that and even said I could have to pay a restocking fee for the parts, so I reluctantly left my vehicle there. A few weeks go by and no one called or contacted us to give any kind of update unless we called and complained about how slow the work was being done. Last week they said it would be ready on Friday provided that the sensor came in for the repair to be complet, so today I was shocked to find out that Carstar actually called and told my wife that the vehicle would not be ready due to a cable kit being needed and it would be wednesday this following week. the insurance company has paid for a rental up until the 9th of this month so it has been an inconvenience for us only having one vehicle for the last two weeks so by the time I will actually get my vehicle back it will have been 44-45 days to me this seems a bit excessive. I don't have money floating around to pay for a rental for 18 days. needless to say this is my way of letting others know not to take your vehicle to the riverside Mo Carstar if it is not drivable they only have one lift and it will take a while if anyone is in front of you to get service. Lacking in communication about only having one lift I would of gone somewhere else.

Could not find the window I needed but told me they would put it in if I could find one. I dropped vehicle off and they called me shortly to let me know I needed a dent fixed to put window in (tree limb went through from tornado). They had already called a body shop and gotten a good quote from them and told me they could take it to them and they would pay the body shop and add to my bill. It was all done in one day. Very pleassant workers and very helpful to me through the whole process. I would recommend them to anyone needing repair or window replacement. My bill was also almost unbelievable and low. read more

My sons car had the front glass on the passenger side broke out in the middle of the night by vandals. He is a college student and needs a secure car because he has no private parking. I needed a quick replacement. On my 5th calll today I finally found Clarity Glass and spoke with Kevin. He gave me an instant quote which was 36 dollars less than that big national auto glass chain. The key was he could replace the glass TODAY. Can't say enough about the quick checkin, comfortable wating area and great customer service. read more

I was very pleased with the service I received here! They were pleasant on the phone, got me in same day, were very knowledgeable and kind. Best of all, the cost didn't empty my wallet! It was the same price as going to a salvage yard and getting the window and then paying someone for installation. I was able to get a new window and have it installed immediately. So easy and hassle free. They had nice facilities to wait in, including a bathroom, kids play area, and TV with lots of comfortable seating. Highly recommend! read more

I called around town to many of the highly rated auto glass shops which most were about 1 week out to repair my windshield but when I called Clarity they were able to get me in the next day and at a better price than all the rest. They were very professional and attentive to my questions on the phone. I have my appointment today and will give a follow up review about my experience in the shop. read more

I called four different places that could not get my windshield installed until the end of the week. The prices ranged from 300.00 to over 500.00. On the fifth call, I called Clarity Auto Glass. I had to literally tell the guy over and over to get all the glass out of my door, because he wouldnt get all the glass out. He ripped a sound pad outve my door and was going to trash it, and said I didnt need it. CRAZY!! He was literally going to let me go with tons of broken glass in my door. It was ridiculous, and the new window makes some kind of rubbing so when I roll the widow down or up a makes a streak. It may be cheaper, but the service and work ethic is shit. Proba ly the worst Ive seen in a ahwile. Stay away, you have been warned.
