I love this little movie theater. The movie rooms downstairs have very comfortable seating. The one upstairs not so much . My kids love the snack boxes with drink and pop corn. I purchased Zootopia 2 tickets online for my daughter and myself and arrived to find a line forming outside in very cold weather. After the manager finished assisting the customers in front of us, she walked away and left my daughter and me standing outside in the cold. I took it upon myself to walk inside and told my daughter to go ahead and sit inside the theater while I waited to be assisted. The manager then rudely asked if I had my ticket. I told her yes, and as I approached her to show it, she told me I had to go back outside and wait in the cold. I explained that I would step back outside once someone was available to assist me. At that point, she raised her voice and stated that she did not have to let my daughter and me watch the movie and that we could be refunded instead. I then asked another employee if he could scan my ticket. He politely agreed, but while he was scanning my phone, the manager told him not to give me a ticket and to refund us. I informed him that my daughter was already inside the theater. He apologized and said the manager instructed him to issue a refund anyway. As we were leaving, I asked for a receipt for the refund and was told there was no receipt upon getting a refund. I then asked who the manager's superior was and was told that there was no one above her. Given how very disrespectful and unprofessional this situation was especially in front of my child--I felt forced to contact the police after walking my daughter to the car. I will never return and do not recommend this location to anyone. read more

I love going to the theater here but today I had the worst experience there was this woman doing the tickets thing and she was disrespectful by telling me to put my phone in to where she can scan for the tickets but that's not the point she had an attitude with me she was not friendly at all she is very rude. The theater itself is great other than it is way too dark between movies when people are trying to find seats. There are lights on the wall but they don't use them and as someone with mobility issues light is a must to see where I am stepping on the stairs. Still not a fan of front row seating, with an online purchase I can guarantee my seat in the back. Costs extra to book online. They have a food selection but I've not purchased it yet. Cons: - Does not accommodate handicap for upper movie theater. If the movie you want to see happens to be upstairs, you must be able to walk up a flight of stairs. - We tried to switch movies to accommodate for the handicap person in our party, but we had to get a refund and change tickets, splitting our party up. My four year old decided about 15 mins in she didn't like the movie we were seeing and wanted to join our other party in a more kid friendly movie, we were denied access becauSe it had been over 10 mins since the movie started. We were not offered a refund or accommodation. Our other party had the car keys, and we rode together. So the left out party had to walk around for an hour and a half waiting, completely wasting our tickets that we had purchased. - They searched our bags/purses when coming into the theater. They refused to let someone carry in a bottle of water that was in their purse. Invasion of privacy. Pros: - The downstairs theaters offer some recliner seats. - reasonable pricing - good selection of snacks at reasonable prices I was a huge advocate of this theater until our very upsetting experience this evening. Okay, you'd think two of the same theater on opposite sides of the street would be fairly equal. Wrong. Cinema I & II are cute, charming and clean. This place, III & IV, is gross. First off, they only take cash (but don't have an ATM). They were very rude when we asked if they give a military discount and once the woman said they only took cash we walked across the parking lot to the bank when we came back she demanded to see my fiance's military ID again. The popcorn was gross, and although the tickets were the same price as it's sister theater our popcorn & drink were more expensive (and once again, gross). The staff at I & II were much more friendly, we'll stick to that side of the street. read more

Let's clear some things out front this is one of the best theaters within 100 mile radius of Andalusia Alabama I don't work for them I'm not getting paid to write this review I came in from Tampa Florida and I wanted to watch a movie and this movie theater is better than any of the other movie theaters I have down and Tampa Florida the seat were extremely comfortable and the sound was amazing provided by JBL speakers we're off the chain if you're going to watch a movie you should definitely go there because it is amazing and the snacks prices were really reasonable I didn't have to take a loan out to get snacks read more

Great theater, the price is a bit more but it is well worth it. They have good food like hamburgers,pizza,hotdogs ect. The seats are faux leather electric recliners with a swing tray on the sides.Last but not least it is very clean. read more

The other reviewer is spot on about these theaters. I went today with my kid and one of her friends to see The Muppets during the matinee. First off, for extremely old and run down theaters, they are expensive. Almost 4 dollars for a tiny container of stale nachos. The popcorn was also bad and overpriced. How do you mess up popcorn? At nice theaters, I can accept the high cost of snacks but it is obvious this theater isn't putting anything into improvements. Nothing has changed in 20 years except that it just keeps getting dirtier and more behind the times and the prices keep going up. The theater was revoltingly filthy with poor seating. The sound was so quiet I could hear the projector over the movie. No drink holders, either. I'm going to start driving to Dothan for all movies. The theaters across the street and College cinema are a step up from this place, but they still all desperately need upgrades. As a bonus, some local trashy parents came in as a group and while playing with their bright phones, let their 7 2-4 year olds run around up and down the aisle yelling during the movie. Two of the kids around 4 years old were sitting alone in front of us and proceeded to turn around and stare at us while talking loudly. The parents finally got a clue and left but not until 3/4th of the movie was already ruined for all of the other families. Also, one of the theater workers stood at the entrance to the theater and kept opening and closing the door, which was incredibly distracting. And did they ask the family to reign in their kids or turn off their phones? No. Of course not. Just awful. read more

This theater has been completely remodeled and is state of the art. Recliner chairs and a great overall experience.

Right off the bat this "theatre" sets a bad tone. From dilapidated and broken games in the front you are given the impression of an older theatre. This theme continues as you move into the theatre itself where half of the seats are torn and the entire theatre is moldy and smells like a warehouse. If you are looking for a decent theatre to see a movie try College Cinemas or the sister theatre Clark Cinemas I & II across the street. Not to mention the sound quality is terrible. read more

Theater is a dump. The ticket master is super rude. And they don't allow people older than 21 years of age to buy multiple tickets to an R rated movie. Overall terrible. Even if visiting, highly recommend driving 50-100 miles to a different, better theater read more

This place is the worst. We arrived exactly on time for a 4:20 movie- not a minute late, and the theater was closed. We stood around and finally someone came and rudely refused to sell us tickets since we were the only people there for that specific movie, claiming that if he started the movie now then it wouldn't be over for the 7pm showing. Except that we weren't late.... and the movie was definitely less than 2hours long.... To make matters worse we complained that this employee was obviously slacking on his job to their sister theater across the street and they couldn't have cared less. But we gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again 2 days later for the same movie, this time posted on THEIR website for 3pm. When we arrived, 20 minutes early, they said that the movie actually started at 2pm. Of course we doubled checked afterward and we were correct. The bottom line: Don't even try going to this place. We'll see our movies in Dothan from now on. read more
