Met up with friends at this theater, didn't expect much but this was below expectations. Staff was very kind! It was very dirty and filed with roaches. I just felt sticky and greasy just sitting down. Place was clearly run down but had a homey feel. We appreciated the enthusiastic staff and they were very helpful! We did have a great time though! I'm sure we spent 20$ on the claw machine. (That was rigged) it felt outdated but overall was an okay experience. It was alluring and fun to hang out in! 3/5

I purchased tickets four days in advanced for Marvel's Infinity Wars. I walked into my local small town theater to see the two center rows of the theater covered in printed out VIP signs. This has never happened before. VIPS don't come to this tiny theater in Crestview, Fl. If I had known I was able to reserve seats, I would have done so. However, this tiny theater in this tiny town doesn't have reserved seating. SO WHY ARE WE LIMITED TO THE SHITTY SEATS IN THE THEATER???? ***EDITED TO ADD*** The theater messaged me and let me know that this was in fact a private showing and I should not have been able to purchase tickets. But I did. The employee sold me tickets and I did not get to enjoy the movie because of a misunderstanding

Nice to finally have our own premium theater in Crestview. In the beginning it was plagued with movies that would stop or sound that would drop out BUT it seems they have fixed most of these issues. I was a big fan of their free movie summer program and didn't mind paying for popcorn for the kids since I got in free. We came most every week during the summer and it was a mcuh appreciated break for the kids when they got cabin fever!! The prices are cheaper than any other large theater chain in Ft. Walton Beach or Destin so when I do see movies before Redbox in the theater I come to this one. I have given them 4 stars becuase their credit card machine has been down twice during my visits BUT I luckily had cash. Some other unfortunate souls did not and had to leave.

Heavy mold smell in theatre. Upon leaving noticed tiles bulging from wall and peeling wallpaper with mold. Very disgusting.

Started off as a nice theater, but rapidly declining. Dirty, in disrepair, and staff are typical careless teens mostly.

"Oh, the local theater is converting to a Rave" meant something back in my old hometowns (Destin and Crestview, respectively). I've watched this place get bought by AMC and slowly become worst. To be honest, that happens and you learn to live with the lowering of expectations as this is happening in many industries. I'm even an AMC rewards member because, hey, you have to get into every app and system to try to find a deal to make things barely as good as it was. Why I'm leaving a review is due to what occurred last weekend. We buy the tickets online, go to the theater, and the staff warns us "hey, there is a leak in the theater. I'd check it out and if it's leaking over your seats we can give a refunds." (this is why I'm adding one star because I want to point out the staff is pretty great lol). We get in and, yup, there are several visual and audible leaks in the theater. I'd have walked but I brought my kids to see Toy Story 5. "Alright, now we watch movies with a little rain in the theater" because that's how it is. However, towards the very end of the movie, actual ceiling tiles collapsed and fell at the front of the theater. I look at kids, who don't want to leave right at the very end of the movie, and end up standing for a few minutes ready to block potentially falling debris because....well, if you have kids, you know how they are. As a heads up, if your movie is showing on screen 1, I'd just skip it. Paying $45 for 4 people to listen to rain and watch collapsing infrastructure? What a fall off, AMC. 5/5 staff, -4/5 for facilities.

But years later, and a couple thousand miles away (but still tangentially related to Hollywood) dear Yelper, this Boulevard is that bad. While vacationing in the fabled 30A region of the "Free State" of Florida, the family waned to see the new Superman film. Unlike my home state of California, there were very few choices of theater chains in this region. We should select between AMC and ... um ... AMC. AMC is it. In this case, Miramar. Not "Top Gun" Miramar. Just Florida Miramar. So we pile into the van and head to town. Once inside, we decided to load up on the prerequisite snacks and drinks. We were there on a Thursday afternoon and the snacks, drinks and food menu looked like it had been ransacked after a zombie apocalypse. They were out of many theater mainstays like hot pretzels. When asked if they had licorice, the helpful staff pointed to a display stand and resigned with "all we have is on that cart." We make the best of the limited selection and head into the auditorium. Unlike seemingly the rest of the world now, it's old-school pick your own seat in there. This was okay, since it was a mid-week matinee, but this was the first time since about 2014 I was not able to pre-select my location. The screen was nice. Good projection and sound. By far, the one decent amenity of the day. Our seats themselves were awful. The actual chairs have big "Spirit Airlines, last to board, enjoy the middle" energy. Okay, that's not fair. Spirit is not as uncomfortable as this. After a couple hours of Superman, I felt like I needed to summon Krypton to drag my bent form out of the chairs. Once the showtime hits, congratulations on 30 minutes of ads, capped off by Nicole Kidman urging you once again to go to the very place you already happen to be. Still reading? Thank you. I give AMC a shot about once a year. Each time, hoping they have done something to improve the experience. Yet each time, they manage to do a slightly worse job at being a theater. Modern cinema is now 100 years old. Yet AMC's innovation seems to be "how can we charge more by making people feel terrible, while convincing reddit kids to pump our stock?" So, yeah, Two stars. Once for screen, once for the staff who were actually super friendly despite having very little to sell.

After the manager finished assisting the customers in front of us, she walked away and left my daughter and me standing outside in the cold. I took it upon myself to walk inside and told my daughter to go ahead and sit inside the theater while I waited to be assisted. The manager then rudely asked if I had my ticket. I told her yes, and as I approached her to show it, she told me I had to go back outside and wait in the cold. I explained that I would step back outside once someone was available to assist me. At that point, she raised her voice and stated that she did not have to let my daughter and me watch the movie and that we could be refunded instead. I then asked another employee if he could scan my ticket. He politely agreed, but while he was scanning my phone, the manager told him not to give me a ticket and to refund us. I informed him that my daughter was already inside the theater. He apologized and said the manager instructed him to issue a refund anyway. As we were leaving, I asked for a receipt for the refund and was told there was no receipt upon getting a refund. I then asked who the manager's superior was and was told that there was no one above her. Given how very disrespectful and unprofessional this situation was especially in front of my child--I felt forced to contact the police after walking my daughter to the car. I will never return and do not recommend this location to anyone.
