I'm going to be nice and not post a picture. I have been using this company for 7 years. The first 5 years were great, we had the same pool cleaner named Bill that entire time. Then they merged with City Wide pool, Bill left, pandemic hit and then it went downhill. I realize that labor, good labor is hard to find, but it seemed like my route always had the largest turnover. Recently the pool cleaning got very lax, the cleaning wasn't done properly, there was a lot of dirt built up, vacume hardly moved and no one took the time to look at it and it was time to move on. I am a 25 year Nevada resident. This company was very unprofessional. The owner Jeanette inappropriate comments and was disrespectful I spent hundreds of dollars on a pool drain and refill the technician forgot pertinent chemicals in less than one week my pool was turning green The Lawn Company has communication difficulties while working for $100 an hour they didn't seem to have a great attention for detail ... no written estimate.... overpriced company poorly performed work.... if you like professional efficient service.... do not hire this company!!!! read more

RUN RUN RUN!!!!!I bought a house with salt water pool....the salt cell and system was removed by one of their gardening sub-contractors claiming previous owner requested it....which she claims she never did. The previous owner was meticulous, and I believe her, makes no sense. The whole system was taken out. The maintenance person was maintaining it like a chlorine pool as he started recently on the pool and never noticed equipment. RUN RUN RUN AWAY!!! Bye far one of the worst experiences with a pool company. I never had a problem till the technician broke some equipment and I called to inquire about it and speak to the owner and he stated I was trying to Swindle him out of money by having them pay for it even though their technician caused the problem and finally the owner Aaron fired me as a client for inquiring about why I had to pay for it when they broke it. He also used vulgar language with my wife when she called to find out what was going on. Well Aaron please elaborate to why you let us go then. I would like to know as well as the yelp community? Because your technician broke my clamp on my filter housing I called to inquire you got upset said I was swindling you and let us go as a customer. I would like to hear your version. I was told less then 1/4 of my pool water would be removed during the reverse osmosis. OVER half was removed. Very dangerous for my type of pool. Took two months for me to get ahold of them to pay them. They state their hours are 6am - 3 pm but I tried over 23 times to call to pay. Finally got someone after two months. Then three months later I receive another bill. But this time stating they will send me to collections. Go ahead. I have proof I paid. You will end paying my lawyer fee and returning my money. This is why I always pay with a credit card!!! Proof!!! Poor office management. read more

Beyond happy with Aaron and the team at Clark County Pool. Had them out last year to do an RO service on our pool, and it was never easier to keep the chemicals balanced.. Sadly, we had to drain the pool in January due to a huge crack in the pebble that was causing the pool to lose water. I have had them coming weekly to service the pool, and it's always clean and ready to swim. That's the positive part. The negative part, which has already been addressed with Jeanette, was the techs were coming weekly, brushing and netting the pool, but not balancing the chemicals, just adding chlorine pucks. Had watched them on my ring camera in the back yard for a few weeks. Talked it over with Jeanette, and all is fantastic. Looking forward to doing business with Aaron and his team for many years to come. read more

I remember these guys- they were the worst pool service I've ever had. The techs, if you want to call them that, were belittling when I asked a question. The office staff was worse. I needed to pay them one week late so I called to talk to, Jennifer the owner, and was promptly yelled at and told to get the payment in now. I did and canceled the service. read more

11/06/17 Update: My comment and explanation of what happened is still true, despite what the company is saying in their reply. The poor communication and confrontational behavior of their owner is what keeps my review unchanged. Also, if you look at every negative review on here, you'll see they are confrontational in their replies to people and paint a different picture of what happened. The owner, Aaron, is rude, condescending, and confrontational. New customers beware! We have been using Clark County Pool & Lawn for at least a year now and our account has been cancelled by the owner, Aaron, after I spoke with him over the phone this morning. Yesterday, the technician came out for the normal weekly maintenance on our pool. We did not find out until the early evening, that night, that he had broken a bolt on our pump and the filter was shut off. The next morning, my husband spoke with Jeanette who told him it would cost $120 to repair (that we had to pay for it). I called back to speak with the owner about the lack of communication and he was instantly confrontational and rude to me. By no means was I even calling to argue with him. I simply wanted to know why the technician didn't tell us the bolt had broken when it happened as my husband was home. He then went on to blame us saying the pump had rust an that it wasn't the technician's fault. Again, I wasn't concerned about the bolt breaking, so I asked him to not be so rude and reminded him I was merely calling about the lack of communication. I let him know that if we knew, in advance, there was rust, we would had taken preventative measures. He told me that they have up to 24 hours to contact the customer if there is an issue. I even asked if there was water leaking, would they take up to 24 hours to notify the customer, and he said yes. He refused to acknowledge the poor communication and instead kept saying it was our fault the bolt broke. He then said he was cancelling our account immediately and that we were no longer customers. When I told him I was going to report him to the Better Business Bureau he said, "You're a joke. You should be a comedian and I'll buy the first ticket to your show." and hung up on me. Proceed with absolute caution with this company. If you choose to use them, don't EVER call to complain or inquire about their practices as it's clear the owner, Aaron, has an anger issue. read more

The office staff are great. I had an issue with the pool service I got so they made the tech come out again. He still did a crappy job but did come back. I decided to give them one more chance. Nobody came out so I gave the office a call. They said they will call the guy and he will be there. I saw the guy pull up in his designated red truck. He must have services some other pool in my neighborhood. As I was taking out the trash, I saw the red truck leave without even servicing my pool. I have yet to see them on our designated day. I will call one more time but it's really not worth the money. After every pool cleaning, I ended up going out later in the evening to scrub my pool because they did not get the green off the pool sides. The tech I got did not know how to balance my pool and upon questioning him he gave excuses of why things are not done. I am very unhappy and very shocked that they would allow such poor service people to even be employed with them. The very first tech that came out did a thoughough job. Then they switch to a new guy and it was less than adequate. I am a new pool owner. Maybe this is common to go out and scrub the green slime off the pool after you hire a pool service but if I pay $115 a month, I guess I expect my chemicals to be balanced correctly as well as normal skimming and scrubbing as needed. read more

They showed up for both appointments when they said they would and completed both repairs for the price we agreed upon. I just have to say that these guys are 5 star incredible... Jeannette was so incredible over the phone and she got Frank to come out same day and take a look at my mother's pool heater... It's very old and most places would just try to replace it but they're going to take the time and fix it saving us alot of money... I'd refer these guys to anyone read more

Very disappointed with this pool company, Clark County pool & Lawn. Was referred to this pool company to do maintenance on my 83 year old mothers pool. Her pop-ups were no longer working correctly. They gave her a quote of $707.00. They said that included parts and two hours of labor. I felt that was a bit pricey so I checked it myself. I opened up the top of the water valves, taking a total of 15 minutes. Found the part numbers and ordered the 2 modules online for a total of $340.00, including shipping. Took me another 20 minutes to replace them, and now the pool is working fine. I think they take advantage of senior citizens, as I found it outrageous for them to charge $350 for less than an hour's worth of work. read more

After calling a couple of pool companies with questions about my pool system, Clark County Pool and Lawn was the only company to answer their phones and were able to answer all the questions I had. We hired CCP&L based on the courtesy and knowledge of the office staff. Unfortunately, the pool technician was less than adequate. We paid them for 3 months=13 visits, but they only showed up for 10. This was based on the card stuffed into our control box the tech filled out himself each week, when he chose to show up. The tech kept pushing wrong buttons on our pump, which caused the entire system to shut down overnight, during freezing temps and would have been catastrophic. At one point the spa had drained halfway out, exposing plaster and they said it was a faulty valve which needed replacing. They wanted to charge top dollar for a $35 part my husband replaced himself by unscrewing 8 screws. The office sent the tech back out so we could explain the pump, but nothing became of the visit because he knew more than we did. The office informed us our days would change from Thursday, to Wednesday. The following week, we waited for him to show up so we could again explain the pump function and no show, no call the entire week. At this point we had lost all faith in their ability to service our pool which prompted us to take a water sample into Leslie's. We discovered the muriatic acid was non existent and had to purchase to add ourselves. We were promised they would not only clean, but test the water each and every week and add whatever chemical was necessary. This was not done and we were forced to find a company that could do the job correctly. We had a very capable pool man for five years, but retired in September and in that entire time, we never had any of these problems. I'm sorry, but in good faith, I cannot give them more than one star. read more
