I came down here to get fingerprinted for a job. It was easy and painless. However, the parking is terrible -- no fault of their own, it's downtown. But there has been so much construction around and coupled with one way streets everywhere, it's hard to park and get to the building. The building has a very open concept but still fairly difficult to navigate. The people are fine -- not friendly but not rude -- they just do their jobs. If I have to get fingerprinted, I'd try to find a place more accessible.

I was in a car accident today and had a hit and run situation in Dublin and called the police and…read morewithin no time a police officer was out to take a full report on the collision. He also made the party involved get to the scene of the crime to confess for a ticket. Thank God, for the Dublin police department. If it weren't for them, I would have a pretty hefty bill for a hit and run situation with my Lexus. I am very happy our police department takes care of our city when there are accidents involved because at the light where I was hit, there was no camera to record the incident. Although I am still a bit shaken up by today's event, I am rest assured I will be in good hands thanks to the police report on file now. Thank you Dublin Police and I will make sure to vote my tax dollars in our next election to help you guys do what you do best!

After being in Columbus for roughly seven years now, I can truly say that I know this area of the…read morecity pretty well. I live in the Short North, just a couple miles away, and I'm in the neighborhood at least a couple times a week. I'm often there getting groceries (Kroger or Market District), or whenever I need to take my car to the mechanic (Star & Northwest Auto). I go to a spa (Paloma) there along with several local businesses (Lion Cub's Cookies, Boss Gal, and Straders), and restaurants. Grandview Cafe is my favorite diner and there's some good sushi options too. I'm often shopping off Olentangy Rd thanks to Target, Sephora, Marshalls, etc. There's a good number of parks to explore and it's also really clean in Grandview. I know that's in part due to the city so I gotta give 'em some props. Over the years the area has grown so much and I don't see any signs of it stopping. It's a well sought after area to live in and because of that the cost of living has gone up, especially if you're looking to buy a home. That's the only bummer about Grandview, otherwise it's a lovely city and I'm really happy with how close I am to it.

Suddenly I head this awful noise, and was sure I had somehow crashed into the concrete, destroying my shiny new red Prius my husband gave me 6weeks ago! After getting to a place in which it was safe to get off the highway, I learned that a front tire had blown in two places. So I waited and waited as cars whizzed by, most people don't carry dead cell phones!Finally a Worthington Police Vehicle stopped. This man changed my tire, he was so kind and patient. His name is Wayne O'Neal. I was on my way to Wednesday Evening Prayers at Olentangy Christian Reformed Church just off N Broadway. I let him know special prayers would be given for his kindness, and for God's blessing and protection for all these great men.
