If you have never been, this place is huge, and carries almost any kind of tile and/or flooring materials imaginable. But the sheer size of it can be a little overwhelming. Fortunately I was approached by a service employee upon entry, and guided promptly to the right tile. On my own I easily could have taken an hour to hunt it down haha. I wasn't sure what the grout was, but I had a pic and she guided me to a like shade of gray, as well as to the mastic. Supplies gathered quickly with help of capable service team on the floor. The sales staff at Edwards was great until we had a problem. We purchased about $2,500 worth of…read morecarpet and had installation completed on 8/28/15. It was a Friday installation, and it seemed that the installers were in a hurry to leave and did not complete the installation in a professional manner. 1. The installer used the stone on my front porch as a backer to cut carpet and left cut marks in the stone. I have a photo if anyone would like to see that... 2. The tack strips on the stairs protruded through the carpet. My wife called and Don, the sales person, to explain the situation and he told her that we should hammer down the strips. I guess that means that I have to complete the job for the Edwards Crew. In the mean time, my eight year old daughter punctures the skin in heel of while walking down the stair. Don never offered to have the work corrected by his crew. 3. When the crew left there were countless pieces of cuttings laying around the floor. I called to let the Edwards office know and had the pleasure of speaking with Steve, who very nicely explained to me that they did not vacuum. The unfortunate part is that I could have raked the carpet to pick up all of the left behind scrap. It was a much larger problem than simply requiring vacuuming. Again, no offer to take care of the situation. It took us over an hour to clean up after these guys. 4. My bed and my son's dresser was not put back in the correct location. So, I had to move that as well. 5. My newly painted base boards were scratched and needed to be repainted. 6. Several hand marks and smudges on the walls had to be repaired. So, in the end, the product is fine, but the installation is very shoddy. I would not recommend Edwards or their installers in the future. When we have called the sales team to express our concerns both Don and Steve from the south Lindbergh store have expressed how sorry they are, but how they can't help. The estimator was spot on and very professional, and the installers did great work in a timely fashion. Very respectful and asked that I check out their work each time they completed a task. After they ripped out the old carpet and padding they ask I look at the floor and suggested taking pictures of it due to some old, very nice inlay. They did it when they finished the padding install and had me walk all over it to be sure I was happy, then again with the carpet install. Upon closer examination, the floor still seemed relatively solid, but there was a long curvy crack and a few hairline cracks in the 37-year old fiberglass. For a few weeks, I thought about using a crowbar and hammer, like I did ten years ago when I tore out a bathroom to the studs. This time, I discovered Miracle Method, a business that refinishes bathtubs, countertops, tile, etc. MM sent out estimator Bob, who phoned just before appointment time to make sure I would be there. He stepped into the main bath shower, assured me it could be patched, then took a look at the master bath shower, which was looking just as worn. I asked for a deal, and got it on my electronic estimate, sent to my email account. After examining the five-year warranty, BBB website (A+ rating), and cost, I decided MM was a heck of a lot better than getting out the crowbar. I scheduled the work, and the day before, detached all the plumbing fixtures, and peeled up all the non-slip strips. On workday, installer Corey called ahead, arrived on time, looked things over, discussed final color selection with me, and set up for ventilation, cleaning, patching, and refinishing. The entire job took between six and seven hours, dry time one day. Swipe of the credit card, and electronic receipt to my email account. A few days later, I installed new faucet stems and fixtures, and what do you know, I have a new main bathtub and a new master bath shower. This year, Christmas came in February.
