We wanted to replace all the carpet in our house with Luxury Vinyl Planks to include the stairs. We went to Vallow and another local flooring business for estimates. Vallow's estimate for the same product beat the other business, saving us major money. We had a handyman contractor to redesign our stairwell so that we can get the LVP installed correctly. Mike from Vallow came out to our house and met with the handyman contractor to discuss their plan and even provided them with sample. This collaboration greatly facilitated our combined home improvement projects, resulting in a much better final product than we had envisioned. Three weeks later, We found a small issue with a step tread and they fixed it quickly. Highly recommend Vallow for all your flooring needs. I was hesitant to look at flooring companies, thinking my flooring would be way to expensive and local flooring companies are only servicing larger more quality material. I have an old house with crazy floors! Mark came over and walked me through ways I could help fix the floors so we could install an economical floor that will handle the expected foot traffic. I had quiet a few questions about some of the suggested ways to fix my problems and Marc didnt make me feel dumb for thinking I could do it a wrong way, he didnt pressure me into doing an expensive remodel... no he simply pointed out a few options, with each pro and con, and let me make the decision. In the end, some of the mountains we faced turned out to just be mole hills and I couldn't be happier with the experience I've received! Even Barb showing us around the warehouse... same experience as Mark and the installers (father and son duo - how cool is that!), not pushing, supportive and understanding of the overall picture! Mr. Vallow personally managed my flooring problem. Never in my life have I received such sincere, caring, expert service from anywhere. This is not an exaggeration. I thought I needed new carpets because of buckling, but Mr. Vallow realized immediately that it likely was a sign of termite damage. He helped me find a terrific contractor to handle what turned out to be a huge project requiring new subfloors as well as termite remediation. The day before my new carpets arrived, he and his team came by to make sure the repaired subfloors were good to go. The next day, his installers came by to do the installation even tho my original date was still several weeks away. read more

Just a heads-up to anyone thinking of using Vallow Floor Covering. They extended credit to our GC (because he's friends with the owner), and when he didn't pay, instead of going after him they slapped a lien on our house -- even though we had already paid the GC in full. So now we're stuck dealing with the fallout from a decision they made to "help out a buddy." In my book, that's not how an honest company treats homeowners. read more

Really awful customer service. LThey delivered $6,000 of carpet which by the way the owner measured the space and approved the carpeting I ordered . When the carpeting arrived the installers also a part of the Vallow company advised me they could not install the carpet that I had ordered after they attempted to lay down about a third of it . That stopped all work in the media room / basement immediately . I asked Mark Vallow to come over and discuss it with me he did visit twice. Mark Vallow basically told me both visits that I needed to redo my entire interior design to accommodate the installers who could not do the original carpeting plan. By the way, the carpet is a no pattern low profile Berber carpet which should have been a slam dunk to install . ​ NOW, we have $6,000 worth of carpet sitting in my basement. Vallows did agreed to deduct $800 for the original installation package . All work has stopped. I cannot find an installer installer to put the carpeting down for anything less than $4.25 a square foot so would be another $4,500 minimum to get the carpet installed versus the original $800 for Vallow installation. Vallow Floorings answer to everything has been to ignore me sidestep it and now I've got a mess in my basement. I ended up paying 1775.00 to get it finally installed. VALLOW IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY period!!! read more

When I though what I was asking would be impossible, Vallow came through. From the minute I walked in the door, Barb immediately helped me select my carpeting and had Mark over to measure in under 30 minutes. Carpet was installed within two days!!! The guys had just finished my guest room and the sofa bed was being delivered on Friday - Vallow and company had the carpet laid by Thursday morning. Second time I have been in this store first time was a year ago, lady at desk points from her chair what section of the room the type of flooring we needed, acted like we were interrupting her day. Yesterday same 2 ladies in their chairs, we walked in no one even acknowledged we were there, we looked @ the flooring towards back door, no one even came over to us as I'm taking pics of different ideas needless to say after 5 min of being there I walked out and No one seemed to notice we were there. Worst experience I've ever had with any business transaction in my life. The only honest ones are the installers. After installation there was several problems. I couldn't get them to call back, and had lost energy to continue to fight with them. A few months later I am going through a relocation so have to get fixed. Called them weeks ago and Mark the owner came out himself, said there was just a few planks that needed fixed so he'd send a crew out on the way to another project. About a week later he did send a crew, however when they got here, they actually took a little time to inspect the floor properly and said there was issues in the whole kitchen and needed to get a shaw rep out. After over a week of not hearing from anyone I called and no satisfaction they said it was a lengthy process out of their control. Bc of the amount of time it took them to get out there and the amount of time with the process we decided just to have them come out to fix the kitchen so I could get listed. It took them 2 weeks to get me on the books. Yesterday guys came out to do the work and informed me that there was an issue with the whole floor and they believed that it should be fixed by either shaw or vallow and I should have no worries. However again these are the only honest ones in the bunch, as I was supposed to hear back from Kelly by end of day to find a solution (keep in mind this is the third trip out to "fix"). As usual I did not hear from her, so called this morning and she was nothing but ugly to me saying it was out of their control and I just had to wait. This is costing me over $200/day and they know it. Bottom line is Vallow cares about Vallow and Vallow. Kudos to the guys that actually do the work for their honesty, but considering they don't schedule, service, or price the projects I would stay far away from this company. I could've done the work myself 3 times for what they charged and wouldn't have had this fight, or delay that is costing me big money everyday. I'll be keeping you posted daily if anything gets done. read more

Our basement flooded and we called Vallow to come out and give us an estimate to replace the carpet pad and possibly the carpet. They did respond quickly and came out the next morning. However, the guy was really rude. We were already dealing with a lot. We didn't need to have some rude guy to add on to our problems. I've used Vallow in the past, but will not again. I don't understand companies that treat people like jerks that are paying them for their service. Especially when there are so many other places to choose from. read more
