We didn't notice immediately that they were just coming by and dumping a gallon of chlorine into the pool and leaving. They don't actually clean the pool the way our our original guy did. Not only that, but after a few complaints, they tried to clean the pool and broke the attachment of our automatic vacuum! They switched days and started coming on the days I work from home and I would see them come in and immediately leave, so I waited and watched one day and saw that they come in dump the chlorine in and leave. Seriously, even I can do that! Twice now we've found that our pool has algae growing. Of the six years we were with our original pool cleaner, never has this ever happened. We've talked directly to the service guy as well as the owner of the company many times about the lack of service they provide. I guess they don't really care about what they do, as long as they're still making money. We're finally giving up on them and are looking for a company that will actually clean our pool. It's too bad that it didn't work out, especially because we've given them so many chances.

My pool sweep was slowing down and I was told it needed a new hose. I decided to take a look and turns out it just needed a five dollar connection piece. Finally, as can be seen in the photo, important maintenance items were overlooked. My new pool service company pulled out the filters and found the nastiest muck and growth imaginable. Sure enough, after some treatment, the pool finally started to get back into shape and finally looked as good as new (see before and after picts). Green to Clean wasn't the only reason that our HOA picked Balance Pool Care. After interviewing a few pool vendors, it was clear that Alex knew more then the others and noticed details that need to be addressed that the others didn't catch. Commercial pricing is a challenge, but Alex is taking good care of our pool and making sure that everything is in proper working order. He could hear the stress in my voice and offered to come over, outside of business hours, to put our minds at ease. When he showed up, he was kind, prepared, informative, respectful, and reassuring. Not only did he address our current concern, he brought something else to our attention that needed service. We paid over $500 for a pool inspection and the inspector didn't indicate that this unexpected expense would be in our future. Not only did he express concern, he was able to back his claims. He said our pool filter cartridges needed to be replaced and we asked "how do you know?" He said the filtration system has a louder than normal, high pitched sound, that will go away when the cartridges are replaced. My husband and I were like ehhhh and he offered to show us. In his regular clothes, he manually opened the filter and pulled out one of the cartridges. They were filthy! Discolored and beyond their usable age. He said he could be back in two days to replace them. We decided to hire him for the job. He was prompt, swift, and did not try to upsell us on a high end filter that has the same lifespan as the generic ones. I asked him about other repairs that may be needed and he simply said "these are all nonissues, just relax and enjoy your pool." We appreciate his honesty, kindness, and willingness to bring issues to our attention that we would have otherwise not been privy too. I 1000000% recommend him for pool repairs. He's such a nice, honest guy to work with!
