Since my pool seems to be losing water at an alarming rate, I asked Frank what he thought it could, and gave me some good answers but what amazed me is that he thoroughly checked the pool pump, and the skimmer and did find a few leaks but didn't think that would cause the pool to lose that much water, he mentioned trying the "bucket test" but I didn't have a bucket. He said he didn't live far from me and could go to his house and get a bucket. I said you don't mind, he said no of course not. They have gone beyond any call of duty, coming several times a week to ensure that the water problems were sorted. I hired this company to build my pool in my new house two months ago. Bradley told us that it would be ready by September, then he told us that the permit is being delayed because covid, that it was going to take 4 to 6 weeks. It's been 2 months and nothing yet, today I decided to go to the city hall of Brentwood to ask why the permit is taking so long, they told me that there is no permit submitted with my address or the name of the pool company. We have been customers of Picture Perfect Pool Service for many years. The last couple of years we began to notice that we were not getting the services that we pay for each month. Besides the many weeks when no one would show up (which we still had to pay for), when they did come they sometimes cleaned the skimmer baskets and sweep bags, sometimes not. Often times we would see they left a gallon of chlorine at the gate in our front yard. (That was to say, we stopped by but didn't do anything) We tried to work with them but other that getting notified that the monthly rate went up we never heard from them. Oh wait...I just remembered...my husband got an email with a picture of someone else's pool and and the servicing done that day. We had a wonderful pool resurfacing project with Picture Perfect Pools! Bradley was great to work with and very trustworthy. They did a demo of my old plaster surface and replaced it with a beautiful pebble surface. He recommended that we add crushed abalone which is my favorite part because it adds a really pretty sparkle. The foreman of the job was a guy named Shawn and he was really nice and good as his job. It was nice having someone so knowledgeable on site for every step of the project. He was the one who also replaced the skimmer and fixed the cracks in my pool. Once the project was finished they had a start up pool service for the first month to make sure all the chemical levels were right. They sent over Kurt for that job and he was great. He would come by twice a day to work on the pool chemistry. He is very friendly and always remembered my name. I liked him a lot. Our water temperature is about 5 degrees higher now that we have a dark bottom pool too! read more

I purchased a new home in Walnut Creek and it came with a pool. And I know nothing about pools. The pool was unusable. Where do I begin? The pump wasn't priming, the sweep wasn't sweeping, the water clarity was terrible, and the pool was dirty. I first called another pool service company and they dropped the ball, to say the least. A month into living in our new home, we still could not swim in our pool. I was referred to Kurt by a friend. Kurt came by and really took his time to identify the problems with our pool and equipment. He also gave me a great understanding of my pool and the equipment and how it all should work. Waste of time. They came out to see our yard to provide a quote for resurfacing our pool and demo/install a new pool deck. No follow-up. Reached out to them via email and got no response. Called estimator back to follow up and they said someone else was in charge of the quotes but was backed up a bit. No big deal. Weeks later still no estimate. Called the guy who supposedly was in charge of providing the estimate and he apologized and asked me to text him my name and address and they'd get back to me shortly. Texted him our info. 2 weeks later still nothing. Waste of time. We've had numerous contractors come out to quote us and this is the only one that never bothered to follow up. read more

Picture Perfect Pools is an OUTSTANDING pool construction and pool service organization. I want to fist thank Bradley (Construction/Project Manager) and especially Service Technition Sean, for their wonderful service and knowledge about the pool issues I had, and their swift and accurate resolution of these issues. Specifically, the first "pool issue" I needed addressed was aging fiber optic lighting, for my 2004 pool. Unbeknownst to me, fiber optic lighting is an outdated and archaic form of pool lighting now. However, when it was initially installed, it was state of the art. Well, Just like anything else, it needed to be replaced. The thing is, it's difficult to find a pool company who will service and or replace fiber optic lighting to the more updated LED pool lighting. Not for Picture Perfect Pools. After I secured the the requisite LED lighting, Sean promptly arrived at my residence to install them. Sean knows his stuff. He described to me the history of Fiber Optic Lighting's hay day and it's eventual "demise", for pool lighting use. Here, I'm thinking that fiber optic lighting would go into perpetuity...LOL. Sean was extremely efficient and professional while installing my new LED lights. He did an outstanding job. In addition, there were a couple of other pool issues that I needed addressed, but Sean was only there to install my lights. I mentioned to him that I had some other issues but I didn't want to trouble him with them Now. He Asked me what they were and that he would take a look at them. I told him I was having trouble with getting my Jacuzzi water temperature to warm AND reflect the actual temperature, that is stated on the panel reader inside my home. He indicated that it probably needed to be recalibrated to the desired temperature that I wanted. That Information would be indicated in the panels 2004 manual. I asked him if he could wait just a second and I would see if I could locate the documentation that could possibly assist him. I was fortunate enough to find the ancient documentation. Sean chuckled when I brought it to him. He looked through it, found the recalibration information and promptly proceeded to recalibrate the inside heating indicator panel with the outside heating system... Boom!!!!, just like that, the temperature for my Jacuzzi was fixed to the desired temperature that I would like. I then stated to him I had a leak, which appeared to be coming from the piping structure from my sweeper motor. Sean took a look at the structure to see where the leak was coming from and quickly determined it was a leak coming from the area of the piping that connects into the sweeper pump. He retrieved the required tools and equipment to repair this leak and In less then 15 minutes the leak was repaired. Sean was Outstanding!!! I want to thank Bradley, Sean and Picture Perfect Pools for the wonderful work/ service and professionalism they provided me. They will be the very first people I call for future work on my pool. I had a difficult spa light repair that I tried and failed fixing myself. Time to call in the experts. Jason of Picture Perfect Pool took on the challenge of replacing the red brass pipe from the back of the spa light connecting to the above ground junction box. This required digging and cutting out the old pipe, custom fitting and connecting a replacement and then pulling a new spa lamp and electrical line in order for the spa light to work correctly. I was very appreciative that Picture Perfect Pool's was willing to take on this job as several others I approached declined, they would prefer to work on the easy jobs. I called Picture Perfect, knowing that this isn't one of their provided services, and asked if they might be able to help. Carrie made my problem her own, spoke with Brian and Adam, and Adam came out promptly to look at my leak. He made a valiant effort to plug the leak and advised that the old panels are entering the end of their useful life, which I'm sure is true. I did my research. I met with 3 other pool companies before I went with Picture Perfect Pool Services! They are knowledgeable, honest, straight-forward and reliable. They were much more open and direct with me than any other company I talked to. Everything was done as promised and met or exceeded my expectations. There was a delay due to COVID-19, but that was not their fault. We started construction March 10th and everything shut down March 14th. As soon as they got the ok, and city inspectors were working again, they were back in action the first week of May. The Pool was finished and beautiful the first week of June!
