Do not go to this business had work done. When I got work done here I got my car back with others problems they knew about but did not inform me. Then when talked to them about problem, they said they could fix sure at a cost. What work they did do was not a good quality look like it was just thrown togther. They over charge for everthing, they are not there to help you, they are there to make a high profit at your expenece. read more

I was worried taking my car to a stranger. I've been going to the same dealer for three years, simple inspection, and oil change. The car didn't need anything and he didn't try to sell me on anything it didn't need. Car was done on time and he called me immediately to come pick it up, after finishing the work. it was expensive just like everything, but his work was solid. read more

I left the honda dealer (who I had purchased car from) to come to Clark's auto because they offered to go the extra mile and try and help me with an issue I was facing at the time. After the issue was taken car of I continued going to them - after 10 years of driving my civic I was ready for a new car. One of the owners went out of their way to contact another customer of theirs who was looking for a civic. Everyone won - I got more $ than a trade in and the other customer got a very loved used civic with a great service record. So I went to Clarks Auto Repair since it had such great ratings and I needed to figure out what was wrong with my car while I was at college away from my usual Auto Repair place. I was hoping with such a high rating they would not take me for a ride but I was wrong. First they charged me $70 for just a diagnostic, where most places do a diagnostic for free. Second they told me I had about $1000 worth in repairs needed on my car. I took it to my home Auto Repair shop and they said only one thing needed fixed and that my total cost was $130. So unless your a regular customer and you know you are being treated fairly do not go here. read more

I took my car in for a slow leak in one of the tires. They were able to repair it for a very low price instead of needing to replace the tire. Nice waiting area with TV and free wifi. Very friendly people. One of the employees have their dogs in sometimes, which is fantastic for me since I love dogs. I recently moved to the area and I plan to take my car here 100% of the time. I've been through many cars and many mechanics over the years, and I thank the car repair gods every day for Clark's. Whenever I've moved out of the area and tried someone local, it always seemed like I was getting ripped off. While living in Chester Springs, I decided to go to a local garage for my annual inspection, where they happened to find all these things I needed to pass. I said hold off and decided to get a second opinion. I drove down to Clark's, and sure enough, what was originally supposed to cost me over a thousand dollars to pass inspection, now only cost a few hundred. Another time, while living in Skippack, I went to a local garage for inspection, where I was told I shouldn't even be driving the car; it was dangerous. I was told it needed some ridiculously expensive repair or I risked serious damage and a possible accident. Again, drove down to Clark's where they told me they had no idea what the person was talking about, and again, I drove away with a wonderfully reasonable charge for inspection. My car eventually got so old (over 235,000 miles), they couldn't get a particular part for it; it just wasn't available anymore. Clark's found a similar part from another make and model, and MADE what was needed for my car! These guys (and Jamie) are unbelievable. (She'll tell you what's probably wrong with your car over the phone! And she'll be right!) You simply will not find a more honest, expedient, knowledgeable, reasonable, dependable garage.
