Clarks towing should be "Clark Kent" towing, or even better, "Superman" or "Super People" towing. I've had the unfortunate introduction to Clarks due to a Head On collision on nearby I90. Although the accident was unfortunate, working with Clark's has been the most amazing and fortunate part of this tragedy. Clark's towing responded after hours and expeditiously to my totaled vehicle. The tow truck driver, Zack, miraculously loaded my large Mercedez Sprinter van from its side, loaded it onto there tow truck bed - placing it upright, then shored, shimmied and secured it onto there truck, safely hauling it away to there secure storage lot. Prior to leaving the scene, Zack cleaned the accident site free oil and gas at location where vehicle rested, all while working in tandem with State Patrol to ensure the safety of highway. While the vehicle was safely and securely within there possession, there office staff, Maddie in particular, was professional, friendly and clearly communicated with me and my insurance the process to remove my personnel property and next steps for insurance to schedule pick up. It's hard to find a reliable and honest company these days, let alone a tow truck company. Clark's did a great job through the entire process and I appreciate this. This business is family-owned and delivers first class service to East King County. We recently had an auto accident being rear-ended in Snoqualmie. Quickly after we called, Clark's Towing sent two trucks out: one to tow our vehicle as it was unsafe to drive, and another to tow the car that hit us (which was totaled). The driver who came to take care of our car (Drew) was very kind and professional, as well as professional. The owners Colby and Jenny are outstanding community members and treat customers fairly. They are honest and hard-working people who try to help others. Upon Colby's recommendation, we took our car to United Autobody in Issaquah (which did an incredible job restoring our vehicle). Son put the car in a ditch and State Patrol called these guys. They arrived promptly, advised son that when the car immediately overheats and the dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree he should probably turn the car off. Clark's Towing was great in a difficult situation. They apologized because when called by State Patrol there's an enormous up front fee. While it was expensive, they didn't charge us for everything they could, and helped us out by suggesting a local mechanic. If you're unlucky enough to need a tow in the area, I'd recommend them. Horrible does not begin to describe the experience I had with Clarks. The tow truck driver lied to me about disconnecting my battery (the front desk girl Maddie slipped and told me they did dis connect it) then they jumped it with the cables switched and blew multiple fuses. After having another company tow it to Toyota and having Toyota diagnose the problem and fix it I am now out $800+. That on top of paying Clark's $741 and being out of a vehicle for almost a week. The other issue is that they went through my personal belongings in the car. I'm missing 2 pairs of sunglasses, about $10 In ones and change, a free car wash cert. for brown bear, and Unzipped and went through my suitcase and a tool bag that were in the back of the car.... These are couple of many issues I've had with Clarks. I am still waiting on a call back from the owner who I've been told 3 times would return my call but has not. Highly recommend not using them!!! read more

My wife had a tire blow out on 18 and no spare (thank you run flats all that saved trunk space is really helping). We happened to be in that no man lands zone and no wanted to come out for the tow, or they "didn't operate in that location" and just too busy. Clark's East Towing was also busy, but they said they could do it. We had a sick son at home, our oldest had a friend over that is moving soon. It's also the hottest day of the year so far so not fun to be stuck in your car and ruin a good by party/sick kid needs mom moment. They let us leave the keys and they took care of everything. They even sent a pic of the car at the tire shops parking lot. I would use them again for sure. I hope I never have too, but if I do. It will only be Clark's. Thank you!!! read more

Wow. Where to begin. I went up a forest road and on the way down started slipping in the snow and ice. I cannot recall ever being more scared. I called Clark's and they were there within the hour to quickly and safely rescue me and a friend. I have never been so happy to see help. Colby and Ivan were so nice comforting and helpful. Professional staff who know what they are doing. Got stranded near Alpental with my son in severe winter weather. We had mechanical problems and couldn't drive back to Seattle. AAA doesn't have trucks with chains or 4-wheel drive to get up the pass and said maybe they could help in a few days when roads clear. Called a number of towing services in the area. Clark's was able to get a truck up to help us and a friendly driver was able to tow our AWD vehicle down the hill on dollies to Seattle. Clark's was up-front about pricing and stuck to their standard pricing even though it was a time of high demand. read more

I sold a car and the buyer never reported the sale and then abandoned the vehicle where these guys picked it up. They sold the car at auction AND contacted me and threatened to send it to collections. They billed me $292.37 for a vehicle that I have proof I sold and one that they sold at auction. Shouldn't I at least get the car back if I'm paying for "fees"? This company is run by crooks and thieves. RUN AWAY. read more

Nice company to deal with. Colby is a super nice guy and helped ease our anxiety. He even went out of his way to reduce our original bill as much as he could as their pricing is directly mandated by the State. Colby is also fortunate to have an employee who is a military veteran that is used to pulling tanks out of ditches. He was the one who went up to the pass in below freezing weather, pulled our car out of a ditch in the middle of the night on a back forestry county road, alone. I have a lot of respect for someone like that and I'm grateful. Colby took the time to come out on a Saturday to let us clean our belongings out of the car. He even jumped in the car and helped us. We had such a great experience with Clark's East Towing and highly recommend them. We had to tow our truck AND travel trailer from Snoqualmie Pass to the TriCities recently and they were very kind and professional. We had our 3 children with us and Kenny made sure we were all comfortable and ready for the ride. The manager, Colby, actually towed our truck and was a great guy to work with. If you are stuck and need a tow, we can't recommend them enough. We would use them again in a heartbeat but are hoping our vehicles just keep running. Having your car break down is stressful enough, but these guys ease the pain. Even though we had to be driven to an out of the way mechanic after hours, Eric had no problem getting us there. Once we were there and unloaded, he even offered to drive us back into town so our ride picking us up wouldn't have to brave the treacherous dirt road he just drove us up. I watched a driver spend a half hour trying to offload a car from his flatbed trailer. In the process repeatedly bumping the car behind it in the impound lot as well as scraping the front fender with the flatbed. I would only call that guy to clear wrecks destined for the junkyard. read more

I was on my way to Yellowstone in my new RV. Only my 2nd outing and I was so excited. Just past North Bend on I-90 and my motorhome just dies. Everything shuts off and I'm dead on the side of the freeway with hardly a big enough space to get completely off the road. Of course I start to freak out. Pop the hood and I can't tell what's wrong check some fuses and no luck. Got to call someone to help me out. First call Todds, he says is like to help you out but my truck is broken. Then I call Clarks East Towing. From the minute they answered the phone I could feel my anxiety level drop. Colby was there in no time, hooked me up with a smile and didn't even get frazzled by my French Bulldog who was feelin wigged out himself and ready to protect our broken down home. He asked where I wanted it towed to and I seriously didn't know. I knew I needed it fixed but nobody was open till Monday. I called a near by campground to see if they would allow my broken down mess to camp for a couple of days and that's when he said I could park in his lot free of charge till I could decide what to do and he would tow me wherever I needed after that. We got back to the yard and he spent 20 min making sure I was nice and level and even tossed me and extension cord to his place so I wouldn't have to run my generator free of charge. Good to see there are still decent honest people in this world who aren't looking to take advantage of someone in dire straits. After settling in my dogs love him to pieces now and I hardly want to leave as I've been treated like one of the family. read more
