Waited 5 hours for a tow truck. Owen called and said he'd be on his way shortly. An hour and a half later was Informed that because it's more than 4 miles off a gravel road they won't come up. terrible experience. Never had a worse experience with a service truck before in my life. sat on the side of the road for 5 hours after a hit an run waiting on said company, needed a specific tool to get a certain set of lug nuts off the one tire (tire shops fault) then proceeded to be told if I didn't pay right then an there he would take my tire of an leave me stranded. Im a 24 year old blonde girl rodeoing out on my own. instead of helping me out an cutting me some slack after a near death experience loaded with horses in the bitch black of the night these assholes would not even be kind enough to send me a bill they made me pay 330$ so they would come use their tool to take the lug nuts off. no sense of helping ur fellow man/ neighbor out no sense of shit this is a young kid who needs help. simply just you pay me or I'll take ur tire off and leave you stranded. Highly do NOT recommend this company AT ALL. Btw this was all at midnight to 5 am on the side of the 243. this is after they sent a wrecker rig to haul another car away but wouldn't send the one tool needed with him so he could help us an we could change my tire. read more

Even though the guy coming to tow me got lost due to the fact I broke down in the middle of nowhere he was very nice and kind. He was very quick about getting the car up onto the back of his tow truck and even allowed a change in location of where he was going to drop me off. Royal Towing from my experience is a very reliable service. The pricing is a little high, but I did not feel like I was being gouged by them. read more

They towed my car after an accident and I had to leave it to go to the hospital so I was unable to watch them while they towed it.. When I was able to get back to my vehicle and go through it all my electronics, my tablet, i-pod, digital camera etc were gone. All of my banking paperwork was missing. My wallet was missing all the cash and gift cards. This company is shady and they are thieves. And from what I've read on other reviews it's well known that they operate this way. I cannot believe local police departments use this company to call for vehicles they tow/impound. They need to be shut down. It's beyond illegal and unprofessional. read more

Two other local places told us the starter was out on our motor home so we called AAA for a tow. Pat from Royal/Scooters Towing came out and assessed the situation before just hooking the rig up to his tow truck and using about a third of our allowed annual tow miles. He said we did have a battery issue, not a starter issue and got the MoHo charged up and running. Then before leaving he stayed around to make sure the battery would hold a charge and restart after turning the rig off. He also pointed out the auxiliary start switch and told us this would pull power from the Coach battery if we had problems in the future. Thanks for all your assistance Pat. read more

Thanks for stealing my car from right in front of me. It got stuck in the ditch off the road on Christmas Eve, along with several others. Still too icy to get it on Christmas. Came right after work, was at my car with my keys in hand and he was towing it. Wouldnt even talk to me. $193 an hour plus fees .... called the office to see what to do and that guy couldnt speak intelligent English. Explained that I didnt have $200 for this, that I needed to go to work and that my husband needed to get to dialysis.... a life saving treatment. Did the owner give a darn? Not in the least. If my husband flatlines again because he missed dialysis you can bet on a wrongful death suit.... read more

Thanks so much for stealing my car from in front of my house that was legally parked on the street.. After discovering my battery had been stolen from the car over the weekend, and returning home with a replacement battery today.. This towing company wants to charge me $236 to get it back from their impound lot today.. When I arrived back home with the replacement battery, the car wasn't even hooked up yet.. and there was a Covington Police Officer blocking my driveway.. I tried to explain to him that someone had stolen the battery and that I was literally returning back home with a replacement battery for the car.. He was not trying to hear any of what I was saying.. and proceeded to allow the towing company to take the car, right in front of me.. I don't know how y'all sleep at night.. Literally imposing an outrageous fine upon the citizens of this city.. Right before Christmas, too.. Merry fn Christmas to me. read more

My name is Thunder Mountain. Last week, I called the owner of Royal Towing, which is also: Scooter's Towing and Recovery out of Maple Valley, Black Diamond and the 4 Corners area. Scooter had a vehicle, he'd purchased for his family, a recovery and he decided to go a different route. His Craigslist ad, didn't say, he'd hold the vehicle for anyone, but when I called, told him I was on my way. He agreed to sell the vehicle to me, and I got stuck in rush hour traffic coming from Redmond, Washington to Maple Valley, but he waited anyhow. After I looked at the vehicle, I said of course, I'd buy it, but I needed it towed to Buckley about 15 minutes away. He had his Brother hook up my vehicle and I followed him there. I couldn't have been more pleased.
