They were hired by the buyer of my house to inspect the HVAC on July 1. Guy came, said it needed a…read morenew thermostat, but he didn't have one, and would come back tomorrow.
As soon as he leaves, the HVAC no longer blows cold air in day, making the first floor temperature stay in the high 70's. I call on July 3 to get a response, and leave a message.
On July 4, Keisha calls asking me to call back. I call, and she tells me that the guy never came back because he didn't get approval. But instead of calling us to let us know, they don't say anything.
Then I tell her the system doesn't blow cold air in the day, even though it was working before he came, and she said, and I quote, "it's the hottest week of the year, and you have a jacked up system!" I asked if it's the system or the thermostat, and she said the thermostat, and that their technician doesnt have to do anything.
I asked her why when it worked perfectly fine before, but now doesn't work, and the only difference is their technician saw it and now it doesn't, and her response was "you don't want to pay for it, that's interesting."
I then let her know that I am selling the house, and it's the buyer's responsibility, and she just gets quiet.
Bottom line, their technician came, and the system stopped working. They then don't call to let us know no one is coming, then she said "or course the HVAC doesn't work, it's 100%, as if thats supposed to be normal, says my system is "jacked up," then peddals back it's just the thermostat, and hung up on me while I asked what would she do in my situation.
Technician was very nice, and I don't think was trying to do anything wrong. Issue is that they didn't call to let us know they weren't coming back in the middle of the hottest week of the year, and more so the fact that Keisha kept telling me the fact that my HVAC wasn't working in the day is normal, that I should have paid even though it's a Buyer responsibility, and that my system is jacked up before hanging up on the Forth of July.
