It has everything you need. I will say, be prepared to pay the premium of convenience. If you are coming to stay for a while, you might want to bring your stuff with you from the previous biggest town because stuff is pricey here. Spent a lot of time trying to get an online order done for pickup... total fail. The website allowed me to build an order but when I went to check out, 'no pickup times are available'. Called the store and was informed they do online orders via Instacart now. I went to Instacart, built same order, for pickup and same message 'no pickup times are available'. Called the store, 'they believe Instacart is for delivery only'. I tried the delivery option, same message. Store response..."maybe because of weather conditions they can't deliver. We don't control the Instacart side." What a total waste of time. Clarks needs to update their website to refer customers to Instacart and have a better option to be able to handle online pickup (especially) orders when Instacart fails. Lost a customer. read more

The go to market/grocery store in the area. They have a good selection of food and "oh shit I forgot....." items. Also, they're not crazy over priced either which is a plus considering they're one of the few (if not only) grocery store in the area. The parking situation is never and issue, and it never feels super busy inside either. I can usually get in and out quickly without trying to find parking or waiting in lines inside. read more

Before the remodel understanding the upgrades and repairs were needed, the store was great, customer service was excellent and the we're good vibes. The hot bar and deli at that time was my favorite place in the store. When I shopped there I could find what I needed and wanted. Ther was a bugger variety of items to buy from hats, gloves, batteries, sunglasses to chargers and other nesesitys as well as grocery items. After the remodel it has been a lot of changes to the store. Gone are the 4pm discounted hot bar foods. The deli closes too early and by 6pm the deli is deserted. Customer service is fair and when I need help finding when I need I would have to try to figure it out and the manager or employee are too busy to help. Sometimes I feel unappreciated as a customer in the store. I understand the staff is busy and working. Sometimes I feel negative vibes when I'm in the store. I used to be a regular there before the remodel and now I go very little. read more

This place is basically a dollar store, but at high prices. I am so glad that we bought food at the market and health food store in Gunnison, which had great selections of fresh and organic foods. For a place like Colorado that is supposed to be the bastion of health with clean air and water, this place just makes me sad. Not many healthy options in town at all. read more

Cute local grocery store in the crested butte town. Good selection of food options. Limited options for toiletries, but they did have travel options. Able to locate all needed items with ease. Initial order was online with a curbside pick up. While the pick up was a bit odd, lacked direction on how and where to pick up...they did answer the store line and immediately had my order out and in my vehicle with a smile. Self checkout is easy to use and the 'watcher' was polite and worked with a smile even towards what should be the end of a shift. read more

Clark's Market has a decent selection of food items. We purchased avocados and gluten free almond flour cookies at the market. The price was a bit higher than what we would pay back home in Southern California, but it was not unreasonable for the location. In addition, their price for the almond flour cookies was substantially lower than the price for the same brand of cookies at the local organic market. read more

Then I processed to try and make a joke with the bagger to start conversation and instead of talking to me.. the bagger and checker decided to speak Spanish to each other and ignore us.. overall unprofessional it wouldn't of been bad if they tried to speak back to us but overall felt like they were talking bad about us.. When we asked about a grocery store, we were told about Clark's. The local said it's more of a glorified country store than a grocery store. We came very close to closing time and the lighting was very dim. They had a good variety of items like fresh fruits, vegetables, deli, dairy products, cereals and toiletries. Based on what the local said, I was expecting a lot less, so I was pleasantly surprised. The downside is that the prices are high for big name brands. Some of the cereals were $5 a box and most were around $4. I chose some granola for a little under $3. Overall, Clark's will serve your basic needs; you just need to realize that you'll spend more than a regular grocery store. read more

For being the only grocery store in Crested Butte, Clark's Market is actually not too shabby a place to pick up a few grocery items. The inside is larger than you would think. Their prices are a little high, but I think it comes with being in Crested Butte. The produce seems fresh, but the selection is limited. The next nearest grocery store is the Safeway 30 miles away in Gunni, and that store doesn't really have much more selections. This is a basics, no frills grocery store. I find that you can find pretty much everything. There is limitations on any international or alternate healthy options but is doable if you don't have any major restrictions. Bottom line..fine if you are here on vacation and want to grab a few snacks or some small meals. Everything is here. Clark's is a surprisingly well stocked market for a smaller mountain town and their prices were pretty reasonable compared to what you would find in a larger grocer in a bigger city. They had a pretty good selection of fresh meats, ice cream, baking staples, and produce. We normally do all of our grocery shopping before heading up for a mountain weekend but I might just skip it the next time I got to Crested Butte since I know I can get most things at Clark's once we are up here. The only area Clark's failed me was in the Easter Candy department. I was desperate for some Cadbury Mini Eggs and they did not have any Easter candy in their candy isle which makes sense for a smaller store. I had to get them from Gunnison via an emergency chocolate shipment. Crisis averted! read more

Hmmmm, this store was crusty and dirty. Even though I love the proximity to the Inn we were staying at, nothing else really wowed me about this place. They mark up the prices on their items and have a limited selection of stuff and just reminds me of a creepy supermarket from the 80's, it's just beat and grungy. A mini grocery store right next to our bed and breakfast served as a spot for Salonpas pads and soda. The people here are super nice and helpful at all hours of the day and night. I had no problem asking for help as well as striking up conversation about the local spots in town. Granted, this is no King Soopers or Whole Foods but definitely gets the job done. read more

Five stars solely because of the dude that always checks me out. One day someone called while I was checking out and got aggressive looking for someone who didn't even work there; dude said he would look for them and put the phone down only to keep checking me out and saying "I'm not going to look for that person" before hanging up on the guy. Another day he reassured me while I grabbed my morning banana not to worry about the increased crowds in CB - all humans will be gone from the Earth in 125 years anyway. The store is clean and has a good selection of food including a deli. The hours are good and I didn't wait in a long line. The prices aren't what they are in Texas, but I am glad to have a convenient grocery store. I can imagine it takes a lot of resources to keep it stocked. read more

I understand that the prices are higher here and I'm okay with that but the selection is poor, the atmosphere is terrible and the clerks at checkout are always so rude. The last time I was in there I took a $1 off coupon from the box I was buying and she started verbally abusing me over it. First saying it wasn't valid and then when she realized it was she yelled "Happy to have your dollar off!! HAVE A NICE DAY." There needs to be better options in town. read more

Not what I was expecting from visiting their website and being in the location they are in. Thought it was going to be more of a family owned mini Whole Foods. I'm a big foodie and was excited to go there to buy some local products to then take back to the motorhome and create some fresh local fair. Impossible. It was more like a glorified mini mart. Their supplies were low which I guess is because of their remote location. And to top it off, the front of the store had debri on the floor and dust and bigs in the window sills. It wasn't that busy. Couldn't the cashiers at least maintain the front? The sandwich guy was very friendly though he did rub his nose with his hand and then continue to make my sandwich. And nobody in the town who works with food seems to wear gloves so if that bothers you, beware. I have a whole theory about that but not enough space to rant. read more

This review is only for the Deli and the checkout service which were both very friendly and helpful. The sandwiches were reasonably priced and very nicely packed for going hiking. I liked the bread choices. We brought sandwiches for a hike up to Green Lake one day and they were very good and filling. We then came back for more for the trip leaving Crested Butte. read more

Here on vacation, our hotel room has a kitchenette so we decided to buy bagels, milk, etc to save us some money. It was until we arrived back to our hotel that we realized the cream cheese was 20 days expired and milk 5. Disgusting.
