My feet are wimps. I can wear shoes for some time and be fine, then BAM I get blisters. It sucks to buy shoes for myself. However, Clarks is now my go-to brand for comfortable footwear. I now own waterproof sneakers, snow boots, oxfords (in two colors!) and sandals from this store. At first glance the price may turn you off BUT your feet are important. If your feet hurt, you will NOT be happy. You get what you pay for in this case for sure. The sales are usually pretty good and every time I come in the employees are very attentive. I love the Clarks brand. However, as a loyal customer it's sad that they make a sandal you have to throw out after 1 year. I bought my first pair of cloudsteppers in Summer of 2024, same style as picture in blue with the same issue. The sole cracks after 1 year. On 7/27/26 I bought (2 more pairs of Cloudsteppers, 1 in blue (again) and 1 in beige (see picture) I threw the blue pair out and will have to do the same for the beige pair. I have problem feet and need a comfortable sandal, especially given the fact I take public transportation in 2 states. The comfort of my feet are paramount. I bought all 3 pairs from Macy's who this year gave me a break and I had to buy another brand, I bought TEVA. They are comfortable enough but not a cloudstepper for sure. I called customer service for Clarks's filled out a contact sheet with a picture of their defective shoe. Clarks customer service will not at the very least stand by the brand to offer me a discount at the very least if I were to purchase from them online. I wondered around and checked out the many styles: stuff for work, stuff for winter, stuff that's waterproof, stuff that is good for going out. Many options are available here. Plenty of footware available for ladies and gents from sporty, casual, dress and funky styles with prices that are a bit on the pricey side but not insanely expensive . Although I arrived in the last hour before closing (which at some places means bad service), a sales clerk immediately greeted me. It's been a long time since I went into a shoe store -- or any store -- and felt like the people working there actually cared about doing their jobs well. I'm sorry I can't remember the young man's name who helped me, but he was very pleasant and knew the products in detail. Everyone working there was friendly, helpful and eager to make my shopping experience as high quality as possible. As a contrast, I recently went into the Mephisto shoe store (much more expensive shoes!) up the block. The people working there simply couldn't be bothered to talk to me, let alone help me with anything -- and I was the only person in the store! Service here was really slow. I went in on a Wednesday, at around 3:30-4:00pm, and it was a mad house. Customers were hovering near the cash registers to try to get sizes. Or they would just accost an employee who was on his/her way to help someone else, which would fluster the employee, thus creating a high stress environment for everyone there. I have to say I did not have a good overall shopping experience here. Perhaps it was because a bunch of the items were on sale and so it may have been busier than normal. But perhaps they should have factored this in while scheduling the shifts? I bought two pairs (for their $99 special), and one of the shoes they didn't have in stock, so they ordered it for me (it came within a week because it was coming from New Jersey). The pair that I did walk away with, however, had a glue blemish on it, and they were not able to give me a better price on it. Oh well. The service at this place was quite bad. Well my husband bought 2 pair of shoes from this store and one of the shoe was out of stock for his size. The sales associate suggested that they could order and we will get it between 5-7 working days. The person who picked up the phone was not able to give a definite answer, she said it would be arriving in the following week. After 2 weeks, we have not heard anything from them.. Well first of all, it is not our problem if the shoe had some issue/ delay during the shipping. At the receipt, it was written there 5-7 days and now, it's been like 2 weeks plus! Worst case, they should have contact us to inform on the status.. At least to give us some info on the whereabouts and what happened to the shoe. After visited the store, we finally received the shoe after 3 days. All in all, it took us about 3 weeks and a half to received the shoes. Bought a pair of Clark sneakers to wear on vacation. On my first day, I slipped and fell. The shoes were very slippery. Duri g my whole vacation I had to be careful not to fall again When I got home I took them back. They would only give store credit for half of the price of the shoes.I paid $130 wore them a,week and was given only $65 as compensation for a badly bruised hip. i wander in here on my lunch break sometimes. i like clarks 'indigo' and 'structure' lines particularly their flats but i never buy them because they are well flat and i like pretending to be taller. so i found some 2" clogs on sale the other day and i special ordered my first pair of clarks. as promised i picked up my shoes 5 days later i wore them home but immediately had buyers remorse.. i was torn, i was tall and comfortable but my feet were ugly, i mean they were REALLY ugly but in a cute sort of pug-faced way. so i deliberated... and deliberated and eventually returned them. clarks took them back for a full refund even though i had special ordered them and worn them home and then waited a week to return them. thanks clarks! i don't think i will ever actually buy any shoes here again, i like my shoes a little prettier and not so chunky or orthopedic but i plan on taking my significant other here to get some shoes, apparently his 1/8th of an inch man heels hurt him. maybe he can get some old school chukkas... in short: shoes so fugly only a mother could love them. but man are they comfortable. read more

This store is pretty awful with customer service; on a normal Saturday afternoon I was ignored by three free salespersons until someone who was already helping another customer noticed me and helped me out with a size..only to bring me the wrong shoe in the wrong size. I purchased similar leather shoes for my husband and started having problems with the leather detaching from the sole and the sole wearing out. I sent them in to be exchanged and they sent the original pair back stating excessive or abusive wear. They might think my husband was playing football in them!
