This is the second time in a few years that Patricia Jimenez helped me get a perfect shoe with the perfect fit. Patricia is very attentive, communicative, and caring, all wrapped up with extensive experience. Patricia spent over a half hour carefully selecting several shoe options for me, which resulted in another great find and perfect fit! The store itself has great staff, the same prices you would get elsewhere in other physical or online stores, and, at times, a limited selection( which is why I could only rate it a 4 star). My wife shops here as well for her nurses shoes for wearing at work in the Operating Room. The service from staff like Patricia is the reason I shop here!! Keep up the great work!!

Finally, feeling much more positive, I got up, went back to the counter/register, told a man--someone other than who I'd paid the first hundred to, "Why don't I just pay nearly balance, " or something to that effect, and handed over another hundred dollar bill. Second, big mistake. My last mistake was not checking my receipt after they handed it to me. I only looked at it the night before picking up the orthotics and was very unsettled and hardy slept that night. Because it said my balance was 125$, not having credited me with the second hundred but only the initial 100$. Instead of 225$, 325$ was the amount I ended up having to pay. But, hey, I assumed I was dealing with (mostly) honest people. Stay away from this store. Instead, find a good honest podiatrist, and if you need your orthotics refurbished, the HANGER CLINIC at 210 e 86th does that service and does a superior job. (Except you need a prescription, which is why I went to Eneslow.)

His expertise in fitting running shoes allowed us to walk miles each day for the last three days while visiting NYC. I was puzzled however because when I purchased the shoes I didn't realize that the cashier charged me $19.99 when there was a yellow sale tag glued inside of the box of those shoes that read $14.99.. When I went back to the manager she said the tag was there in error. Which I felt she should have given me that sale price that was in the box. In conclusion, that day I needed to return the shoes in exchange for a bigger size, that same manager was very helpful in finding me a size 5 and was very nice exchanging with no hassle. My daughter saw the charms and the girl behind the register grabbed more charms so my daughter could pick the one she wanted (she noticed she was rushing and not really looking because she didn't want to hold the line up). My last shopping experience for my second suit, unfortunately, made me not want to return. My first experience was with Michael G several years ago. He was extremely nice and helpful, showing me options and explaining the differences in the fabrics and where they were made. The fitting experience was great. I felt good at the end, making a big purchase. Later, I called to get some fitted dress shirts, and they had all my information on file. I trusted Michael and had him ship them to me; I didn't even need to come in; it was a very premium experience. The second time I purchased a suit, the experience was exactly the opposite. The woman who helped me seemed uninterested. She really didn't want to help at all. Given her brash, unenthusiastic behavior, I was hoping to go through the process myself, so I asked if she could pull up the profile Michael had made for me. Turns out they only save the customer measurement details for a year now. Seems ridiculous to save money on basic data storage rather than keeping customer records to expedite and provide good service. When I was trying on the suit, I felt rushed, and she never made me feel confident, which is always appreciated when making a big-ticket purchase. She didn't show me options or explain anything beyond saying the old color I had was no longer available, and the one I was holding was the new version they carried. When I received the suit 2 weeks later, the alterations were sloppy as well. Loose threads and not packed well. You'd think it was a $200 means warehouse rental I received. Just got another suit this month and found out I can get a made-to-measure custom suit in Soho for 30% less! They lost a lifetime customer, as I have been buying suits from Nordstroms since I lived in Chicago starting in 2014.

I wasn't the only one who found it unprofessional; there were at least three other customers in earshot and I heard one make a comment about it. The salesman helping me out was fine and attentive enough, but we were all cringing. Get it together, Nordstrom Men's Store!
