Came here for a birthday brunch and when sitting with the rest of our party it took a long minute for our waitress to ask us what we wanted to drink. We were the only other people that were in the restaurant when we sat down. It took the waitress (ximena) to finally come over to us and ask us for our drink order. After we go our drinks a refill of ice tea, 2 waters, 2 sodas (one regular and one kids), and a michelada for the birthday girl. While waiting on our drinks it took a very long time but by the time we got them we all got our drinks but was given just a bottle of beer instead of the michelada. Before we ordered we asked if we can get another basket of chips, when we finally ordered our food and not long after we finally got a glass for the beer that had everything else that the michelada came with. We finally got our plates after waiting quite a while but were missing one plate for a long while. We finally got our last plate never got the chips and our waitress didn't acknowledge us the rest of the time we ate not even asking how the food was tasting nothing. We all felt very ignored by her and felt disrespected by her. We were finally able to get her attention for a refill on waters, when we did we called her out on never getting our chips. While we started eating a group came into the restaurant and our waitress spent her whole time checking on them if they needed anything or whatever. After we were finishing up our meals and drinks we asked for the checks. When we finally get the checks the waitress just flings them on the table and walks away. We saw that as very unprofessional and unacceptable! After we filled out our checks the checks were there for quite a while until she finally came to pick them up. This is for the location on Zaragoza Rd. I had high hopes for this place. The aesthetics of this place is cute and fun, however the food on the other hand is a different story. The only thing that was great was our server Andrea! She was great, friendly, and very helpful. We started off with the toro eggs and is supposedly supposed to be a favorite. It looks good but we were very disappointed that we didn't even finish it. The bacon was crispy but the filling inside is flavorless. We also got the appetizer sampler and holy cow it came with a ton of food! The only thing about that was all of it was pretty plain and bland. The food is very good over here. I used to frequent the food truck many years ago when the owner was just getting started. The establishment is small but inviting. The only knock is that the music playing is WAYYYYYY too loud for the area and service was very slow. I do not like having to get up and ask for a refill of tea. Once greeted the food came out really fast. Unfortunately when this happens the first thing I think about is the product isn't made to order. For an appetizer we got the toro eggs. The bacon was fine as it's hard to mess that up but the jalapeño was incredibly chewy. Item was warm. I ordered the chicken fajitas tacos. Basically it's a bed of 4 corn tortilla with earlier made chunks of chicken with a few slightly grilled green onions. It did not taste good. It was crazy bland. They do give some dips so that helped. I ended up forgetting about the tortillas as they fell apart due to the wetness. I'm thinking the container they store the chicken in and they scooped too much liquid out with the chicken. Meal was cold. Wife got the mushroom tacos. She said they were sautéed in oil but no seasoning at all. No salt. No pepper. Basically you get cooked mushrooms and a tortilla. Nothing else. I would avoid eating outside. As soon as we got our food. We were greeted by no less than 30 flies. I get it, I'm outside, what should I expect. Swung by here just cause we were close by and had never had their food before. I ordered the chicken salad and he ordered the potato with arrachra and the alambre tacos. We are just leaving from a wonderful, stuffing experience. This was our first time giving this place a try. There were a few things we wanted to try so we ended up ordering the Classico Sampler. This included Quesadillas, Toro eggs, two baked potatoes, guacamole and pico, and a large portion of meat which I think was called Castill... It was an appetizer and I'm glad that is all we ordered for our main meal. It was SO MUCH FOOD! The quality was great and we didn't have to use any salt or pepper to taste. One thing I read on here was that they charge for extra dressings and what not, and they do. With that being said, the menu states that extras cost certain amounts so I read that there, too. I ended up ordering a Mango Michelado Chamoy too with a Corona. I know Classico is known for these and their Clamatos so I had to try one to give an honest review. Way to take one for the team, right? So good. I like that you get to pick your beer and choose from many of the options of flavors. With that being said, all restaurant experiences are made by the wait staff. Our servers name was Alex. We were the first customers of the day to get there. Very quickly other customers came in and started getting seated. It was very noticeable that Alex was the only one serving but you would've never have guessed that from the service we had. What a disappointment. We ordered our usual sirloin tacos. I ordered a baked potato and my husband ordered a side of rice. The sirloin was dry and appeared to be leftover and reheated. The corn tortillas must have been on the counter and the cook thought if I put them under the meat they would get moist. They were so dry I had a hard time swallowing them. I did ask for fresh tortillas. The baked potato came out hard as a rock which the cook was aware of because they had to cut it open to put butter on it. I asked for another potato and it was softer in the middle but hard on the sides. At 2:00 in the afternoon you would think they would have soft potatoes already made. My husband also said his rice was dry. I was shocked at how bad the food was as we have been to the restaurant many times. I doubt that we will come back. read more

I have heard so many good things about this place and today was the first place I went. I was not disappointed. We ordered the toro eggs and queso fundido with rajás as appetizers. I was really pleased with the many options available that were vegetarian. I ordered veggie tacos and my boyfriend ordered the norteño burger. Everything tasted great! What I liked the best was the micheladas and clámalos they make. Ordered the Miche chamoy with a Sol beer, I was a little skeptical at first but it tastes like a paleta or a pulparindo...Delicious. I usually grab brew here when I'm in the area, I will say this place has grown on me over time. That being said I haven't really gone through much of the menu. The arrachera tacos were cut thick, which means you have to physically handle the meat in such a way we're you position the meat on each taco to ensure even distribution which is fine. The flavor is what matters which was really good . The baked potato needed a little more time and butter. The quart beers are awesome! The small space inside didn't stop them from sitting people close together and was not 6 feet apart which is why we requested to sit in corner Booth with no one around . This place is a MUST for enclamatadas (red beer) and micheladas (beer with lime juice) and more! Seriously, it's an El Paso staple. The food is also delicious and an El Paso/ Juarez original, with items like Torro eggs and a sampler. As always, El Paso offers its own style of Tex Mex not similar to East Texas. It's been a while since I had the chance to visit Classico Kitchen. The food here was pretty good and the service was prompt. They gave me enough to remember. I went w the brisket taco, Classico Burger (topped w sirloin) and the arrachea burrito. I was on a road trip at the time and devoured the burger in the parking lot before continuing on my journey. The burger was well cooked and the sirloin was tender and juicy. The burrito was decent and very filling. The tacos hit the spot and stuffed generously with so much meat that I couldn't eat them in the car. Not sure when I'll be back in El Paso, but I would definitely recommend and return to this place. Today is Christmas Eve and my people and I are having bite to eat after doing some last minute shopping. The restaurant was cool, good music playing and most importantly not very crowded. I ordered the Spanish cranberry salad with grilled chicken. It was pretty good. The service was really good too. The portion that was served I thought was a nice size. The thing that sort of surprised me is when we asked for another small cup of ranch dressing for the bacon wrapped jalapeño peppers and the waitress said it would be $1.00. WOW! Time is getting hard when they are charging a whole dollar for a small tin cup of ranch. I think they can do better then that. Overall I would go back, but I would rethink getting anything that might require extra sauce or dressing. Also I would give my friends a heads up too so they don't get caught off guard, lol. Was there 6/8/24 about 11:15am, nice place, good food, friendly waitress. Other than that, don't go there if your group is larger than 4 people. They can't handle it. Yes, our group was 12 people, but come on, it took 45 mins after we sat down just to get a glass of water. There were like 6 people when we walked in so they weren't busy to have to wait so long. . One such location is CLASICO KITCHEN, NW corner of Montana & McRae on the Eastside of El PasoTX-USA. Unsure of what specific dish to get, we ordered the slightly more expensive family pack, which included a variety of the offering. One such dish were Toro Eggs, a grilled bacon wrapped jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese. This was a first for me, and it was a delightful/delicious first! Stopped in to meet a buddy for lunch and a beer. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was inviting. I had the Habanero Burger and a Shiner in the bottle. Took my girlfriend for lunch and some drinks. I Ordered a Clamato with shrimp and she ordered a cantarito, which usually served with fresh oranges to imbue the drink. The oranges they served with the drink had mold in them. When food arrived the Ham and cheese Torta had no cheese, and my burger came out raw and pink in the middle. We asked the server if we could replace the order. When we received the meals again our server issued an apology for the inconveniences and said they would add a discount to the meal at the end. Our server was not very attentive and didn't check in once during our lunch other than to serve the food we ordered and sent back..(At one point she went to the parking lot to have a conversation with someone in their car). When time came to pay the tab there was no discount applied on the total nor any formal apology or concern for the bad service. Can i give this place an extensive, funny, and clever review? Damn right i can! But that won't happen until i have a few more entrees and try a few more of their awesome beer concoctions. For now i can tell you this, The super nachos were indeed super (but on a personal taste note it could use more cheese...like layer the chips place the cheese, then more chips then the awesome toppings, just a suggestion) The burger was fresh and delicious and the Papa asada is more than filling for up to two people! I went with what some would consider a "girly" beer mix, using the Chamoy base they have and adding the Ace pineapple cider to give it that raspado flavor i had been craving (but with an adult twist). Went to the new location on Zaragoza , shrimp tacos were more veggies than shrimp. Sirloin tacos tasted like they were made in an elementary school cafeteria. Burgers aren't seasoned AT ALL. I wish they'd add a nice sauce or some chile con queso. I know they're only known for their amazing clamatos , but if they're going to serve food then at least TRY to make it worth it. read more
