On a Sunday evening near midnight, I received a response from this group. They arranged for a technician to come out to my home within forty-eight hours and would have come sooner if it was not for my busy schedule. The technician was polite, diagnosed the problem quickly, and initiated repair and maintenance all in the same trip. He spent less than an hour performing his duties and was extremely polite, clean, and professional throughout the event. I would say this is some of the best repair service that I have experienced in the area and would recommend this group, with particular emphasis on Alex, the technician who came out to aid me and my family. Truly outstanding! I would definitely recommend that you consider their services if you are in need of HVAC services.

Alex came out, diagnosed the problem thoroughly, and was upfront that repair didn't make financial sense. No upsell, no made-up parts charges, completely fair. What stood out was how much he clearly knew his stuff. You could tell within about five minutes that this wasn't someone going through the motions. He knew the machine and explained it in plain terms. When something else breaks (and it will), AB is definitely on my list.

My oven had already been worked on twice within the first year warranty, but the company that Home Depot sent was unable to fix the problem after two attempts, even though the oven was new at the time. Nick, on the other hand, diagnosed the problem and fixed it successfully on his first attempt. His work was very efficient and he could not have been more professional, courteous, or pleasant throughout the entire process. The second appliance was my washing machine, which presented a little more of a challenge because the necessary part was difficult to find, but Nick was able to locate the correct part and complete the repair really quickly. The three visits to work on both appliances included the initial evaluations, identifying and obtaining the correct parts, and completing repairs to both appliances. Considering the amount of time Nick spent working, and the fact that three separate visits were required, I found the prices to be extremely reasonable. By today's standards it's worth repeating....the prices were extremely reasonable ! I highly recommend TJ Appliance Repair, and if you have the opportunity, I would recommend asking for Nick. Excellent service and excellent results across the boards.

They are courteous, on-time, and knowledgable, but as a customer I should be given the opportunity to decline (and just pay for the service call) if I felt the repair cost was too high. I'm not saying don't use them, as I think they are still a good option, but be sure to get a price before the work is done so you can make that call yourself. Otherwise, their $75 visit/diagnostic fee is very reasonable nowadays. **Edited review since the owner, Tony, felt like commenting! That's about right, but funnily enough, when I google it my AI says it's more like $150-$280, parts and labor. Although one result DID come back $350, so perhaps you are just at the more pricey end of the spectrum? Regardless, you should probably give customers the ability to CHOOSE, once it's diagnosed, if they want you to do it at a quoted price, or if they want to buy that inexpensive part and do it themselves. In fact, I think that's actually the law..
