The people who delivered the fridge stated the water line couldn't get hooked up so I hired someone to hook it up to the fridge. After it was hooked up, we found out the panel for ice and water didn't work. We had Hugo come out to fix it. Afterwards, we found out the fridge wasn't cold enough. Came out to add freon. It still wasn't cold enough so we asked for a different fridge. After we got the second fridge (another Black Whirlpool), it still wasn't cold enough. Added freon. Still became warm again. I have wasted so much food (all tossed due to the warm temperature), time, and energy from calling & being ignored by the shop. The fridges here are poor quality. I'm not sure if they pick these out of the landfill and resell them but it sure seems that way.

I had a very disappointing experience with Appliance Guard. The technician, Boris, charged me an…read more$85 service call fee but did almost nothing to diagnose the problem. He simply opened the refrigerator door, said the temperature wasn't cool enough, claimed the sealed system needed repair, and suggested that I contact GE directly. During the visit, he spent time talking on his cellphone for personal reasons and then walked back to his car without performing any meaningful inspection or troubleshooting. I felt like I paid $85 for nothing. Later, I had a GE technician come out. He performed an actual diagnosis, found that the condenser area was heavily clogged with dust, and simply advised me to clean it. After cleaning the condenser, the refrigerator has been working properly. The GE technician also only charged the standard service call fee but actually diagnosed and resolved the issue. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Appliance Guard. I expected a professional diagnosis for the service fee, but instead I felt like I wasted my money.

Not sure if I spoke with Myrna I didn't catch a name. But it was a woman. Wiping down my top load washer over the weekend a small corner brush head fell in between the drum and plastic tub it sits in. I panicked because I know I know nothing about a washing machine and thought the only way to retrieve it was to call a tech since I knew it more than likely wouldn't be covered under my warranty. I called a few places and was getting quoted $75 just to come out to diagnose the "problem" and others flat out said it would be $350. As a last attempt at a less expensive estimate I called Gardena Appliance as soon as I explained my issue I was told "girl you can do that yourself" granted she told me I could just tilt the machine toward me and and gently shimmy it out that didnt work I did have to remove the top panel so I can access the drum to remove the top ring cap type cover watched a couple of videos on YouTube. It was just a bunch of screws to remove it wasnt easy but it wasnt difficult I appreciate the honesty to not be quick to just offer to come out to service and offering me an alternative. I was still nervous I simply didn't want to mess anything up. But her reassurance that it was something simple to solve and didn't require a service tech helped me take the DIY leap. To save me money when she very well could have just took it. You don't see that everyday. May this business stay blessed. I was stressed thinking I was gonna have to pay upward of $400 when I had back to school shopping to do. Honest business. Crisis averted Thanks to Gardena Appliances!
