My tire blew out yesterday and I called AAA for assistance. They dispatched Classic 24 Hour Towing to service me. Austin from Class 24 Hour Towing misthreaded the lugnut onto the bolt when he installed the spare tire. He did not inform me of the damage, but then told me I needed to sign a form stating that he had completed the job. I then took my vehicle to American Tire Exchange (14850 Davis Rd - highly recommend!!) where the owner Lonnie told me the damage Austin and 24 Hour Towing did to my bolt and lugnut as he was unable to remove the lugnut without breaking the bolt. We called American Tire Exchange to come out to remove themselves, and they also were unable to remove. They claimed the damage was already there (which it wasn't) and told me that I signed a damage waiver relieving them from any liability. I then realized that Austin (the service tech) was aware he misthread the lugnut and bolt so had me sign a damage waiver, misleading me to believe I was signing a form to state he had completed the job. After talking with Lonnie from American Tire Exchange, I learned that the work Austin did on my lugnuts was very careless. He had his tool revved up to the max setting to quickly install the bolts, which can cause mistreading. He also did not tighten the bolts to the proper torque, which is supposed to be done when tightening lugnuts on a wheel. The company deceived me regarding the waiver I signed to relieve themselves of the liability of the damage they did to my bolt. Very unethical business practices. Very disappointed in the service. The service from Lonnie and American Tire Exchange, on the other hand, was phenomenal and just the opposite. I am grateful for that group and highly recommend them. Unfortunately I have run flat tires (do not recommend) and I was in need of a tow, fortunately John was the driver that came to assist. I cannot say enough good things about the promptness, service and great attitude that John had. He took the time to make sure that the bumper would clear and not scrape as it was being loaded and unloaded from the truck and made the whole process easier than it's even been. I would not hesitate to use Classic 24 Hour Towing if I ever needed a car transported (broken down or not). John, thanks for the great work and we need more people like you out there. read more

My daughter is a new driver and was getting fuel and locked her keys in her car at the pump. This was on a Saturday around 3:30pm and she had to be at work at 4:30pm. We called Classic Towing to come to the recue as breaking a window was not an option. lol The driver I think his name a Rudy, got to us within 10 mins. She was not late to work and learned a lesson that cost her but had a great experience with the driver who came and help. This is the second time we have had them help us and both have been great. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! VERY UPSET RIGHT NOW!!!! Classic Towing / Auto towing wouldn't tow me and my 84 year old father because my father had hit a guard rail and the side of his car had a big dent. He asked me what had happened and after I told him he proceeded to essentially call me and my dad liars, saying that it probably happened that day!!!! RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! Don't do business with this company! After waiting for 2 hours and the tow truck driver getting confused with my location I had the worst experience with the driver's anger and control issues. Upon arriving the driver got out of his truck and repeatedly started yelling at me to "get back"! I had simply gotten out of my vehicle and was safely standing in front of it to give him the key when he started yelling and acting aggressive to the point I thought he was going to fight me! I was in no way standing in traffic or an otherwise unsafe area. My wife had arrived to pick me up and started filming his behavior because of how out of control he was. He was mad about something and started throwing the hooks and chains around and under our car. I was worried about leaving my vehicle for him to tow but had no other choice being that it was scheduled by AAA. I'm just glad my wife or kids did not have to deal with such an unprofessional and angry person. If you do use this company make sure not to have Keith (Ronald) respond. Late, rude, incompetent. Waited over an hour, then got a call that their tow truck's seat had broken(?) waited another half hour for another truck. Mario showed up, was a total rude little dick, then threw a strap around my steering stabilizer and got ready to start winching on it. Would have broken it, bent it. I stopped him, and told him to hook up elsewhere, pointed out the problem. Instead of admitting his mistake, he got upset, got in my face, told me he'd been doing this for fifteen years. I told him I didn't care how long he'd been doing it wrong, and he could hook up to my vehicle correctly or not at all. I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said he was the supervisor, got pissy and drove off. Incompetent little ass clown. Joke. Classic Towing = Classic rip-off! I had a car accident and asked for Classic to do the towing as their outfit appeared presentable from the highway. What a mistake. Don't get fooled like me. My vehicle was towed approximately 8 miles. When I showed up to pick up my vehicle next day, they told me I had to pay $249.00 in tow charges. They also refused to release the vehicle to me unless I had it towed by a licensed tow truck again!!! While I was trying to take care of all this, the fat blonde guy in the office was trying to sweet-talk my girlfriend who came along to help me. I ended up hiring another tow company to get the vehicle out of there only to find out that number of personal items left int he vehicle were missing, including a GPS, power inverter, CD's and even $5 in quarters for parking. My young adult children were driving our van to Alamosa when it broke down just north of Pueblo at 9:30 on a stormy Sunday night. Mario, the dispatcher, communicated clearly, answered my questions, and made me feel confident that my kids were in good hands. My kids had to be in Alamosa the next day, so Alan, the driver, towed the van and drove them to Alamosa that night. That drive is more than 120 miles one way over La Veta pass! He got them there safely at 1:30 in the morning, and he even made an extra trip out to the repair shop so the all the kids' luggage could be with them! Returned vehicle twice and still didn't fix the problem. They acted like I was a fool. They are extremely rude and unwilling and unable to fix their screw ups. Also don't replace all parts that they say and charge for. They talk a good story about all the great ways they will fix your car then do the opposite. Left me with a unusable vehicle. read more
