2018 - me buying my first NEW CAR, my Nissan Leaf!

I brought my Nissan Leaf into Dave Solon Nissan, because the battery was loosing power way too fast. The initial testing showed "everything ok". But Nichola listened to me when I told her that that can't be. She took note of the issues I've been having and promised me she would hunt the issue down with the EV tech. She did not under promise! She made sure the car got it's test drives, got a very detailed, deep testing and and kept pushing "we need to find what's wrong!" When the tech finally dropped the battery they found a huge packrats nest, which made my heart drop. Through this whole process Nichola kept me posted.... However, when they opened up the battery, they found swollen cells. These will be replaced under warranty! I'm soooo relived that the issue was found and really excited to have my fun car back. Without Nicholas persistence and detective drive, I doubt I would be able to enjoy my car again. (picture was me buying my Leaf in 2018)

One of the trucks in their inventory in November when I stopped by.

Went in for an oil change. Robert was very knowledgeable and polite. The wait time wasn't long.

Scammers. Don't believe what they say. They lie about service that needs done or that has been done and the cost.

We brought our 2016 Denali in for a shimmy in the transmission. Our Denali has 45K ORIGINAL miles…read more It drives my husband to work every other week, because of carpool share. It has sat for months out of the last several years, due to his battle with cancer. We were told the trani harness was bad and needed replaced and a system update. Adding the trani needed fluid service. In addition, we were told it needed new shocks, repair to pipes on the oil cooling system and additional services leading up to nearly $9000. Yes, that's $9000. On a vehicle with 45K miles! Here's the thing, (quoting) "The trani fluid is burned, and we don't want to put it back in the transmission." It's a sealed unit, you didn't drain it! Not even a trani dip stick on this model. The harness isn't in the trani. The shocks are fine, and the protective wrap on the harness you replaced was left hanging. I have video of trans fluid and pics of harness, from the mechanic that cleaned up your mess..... This is why you have a terrible reputation. It should be an embarrassment to quote such a repair cost to the owner of a, babied, vehicle with 45K on it. We will never be back. Yes, I own a Chevy too... so, that's double the loss.

Well, I have multiple issues with this place…read more 1st I live in Thornton and they were aware of that and when I got there the car had about 5 decent sized hell dents on the hood. They didn't even tell me about them before I drove down. 2nd the car was making noise and the sales person, Joe, took a test drive with me and sore that it was just an exhaust bracket that was loose. I asked him multiple times and he was 100% certain as he was a muscle car guy. Well stupid me took his word for it and turns out he was wrong. I called and talked to him and he didn't even try to help me or even offer any solutions. It has taken them 2 weeks to get back to me and finally they did and offered to get me $1000 off an extended warranty but that I needed to bring the car down and have them go through it and If they found anything I would be liable to fix it before they could honor the warranty. Well there is in fact something wrong as it still makes the same noise as the day I drove it off the lot and the car has just over 1000 miles on it since I bought it. So these people are your typical car sales men and don't care about the customer nor what they sell you. I would NOT recommend doing business with them at all. If I could give them a zero star I would.
