The company is by far the worst service I have ever received and had wasted a week of my time. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND that you hire them for your parties. Louise was very rude on the phone. 1) When I had missed my flight and called them to re-schedule an airport pick-up, she told me that my issue was small compared to some that she was dealing with at the time. 2) She billed me for a trip that I didn't take and lied about the driver having arrived at the airport waiting to pick me up when I called to re-schedule. She insisted that I had called to re-schedule at 10:30am when I had in fact called at 10am so the driver was not even half way there before he turned around. 3) Then she put me on hold and said I had called at 10am and would turn my case to the HR and would call me back. She never called me back. 4) I had to call her to follow-up 5 days later and that the person handling my case just came back on vacation and has to take a look at the driver's documents. I emailed the HR person and never heard back from her. 5) I had to call yet again 3 days later to follow-up and she said the HR person is out. Within an hr, Louise called back with a pro-rated rate and when I asked how she got the rate, she didn't know the calculation involved and said "I had already explained this 5 times and that's all the company can do, ok?" Really Louise and you're in a customer service position?! I'm appalled. I took this trip on 1/31 and you billed me for this extra leg of trip on 2/24. You never followed through with your promises to "call me back." You've wasted a week of my time and I can ask for as much clarification as I want. **The driver was very courteous and friendly. read more

The driver wrecked the bus. To start off. We had a large group going to a competition in San Diego witch required two busses. One of these busses broke down on the way there from stockton, ca. Luckily I was not on that bus because they were stranded there for around four hours. The busses smell like the inside of a port a potty and exhaust fumes. On the way back they put us on the same unkept bus again and the smell was horrible. This time the a/c wasn't working. They took us in the wrong direction through the desert when we should have just gone straight up I 5. We left at 1 pm and didn't make it home until after 1am due to their detour witch was supposed to save us time and ended up costing us 3 1/2 hours or so. One of the drivers ran a red light in Palmdale. We had to make a stop for gas. Witch should have been done prior to picking us up, And to top it all off we had to stop in visalia for a driver switch where he rear ended the other bus with 60+ students in it. The driver parked a few feet behind the other bus during the switch he got out of his seat without putting the bus in park and the bus continued forward without a driver. If we were in front of a cliff we would all have been injured or possibly dead. Worst transportation I have ever encountered. If you believe it is acceptable for your bus company to wreck the bus into their other bus, run red lights, stink like feces and exhaust , not have a/c while driving through a desert, make unnecessary stops for gas, yell at the students for complaining about him running a red light and wanting to stop for water, or take you completely out of the way to complete their own selfish agenda then you should definitely book these busses. Again this was the worst travel experience of my life. YOU DECIDE!!!! read more

I've never written a review for a car service before, but had such a lovely experience today that I thought I would. Jennifer (I'm sorry that I didn't get her last name!) picked me up at the airport in Fresno and brought me out to the convention center in Visalia. She was so polite, kind, and helpful. Answered my questions, but was not chatty. You know- not one of those drivers will give you their whole life story. She was very peaceful and efficient, I arrived relaxed and ready. We are currently waiting for our second bus that is 2 hours late for our student's field trip that is 2 1/2 hours away. So unprofessional. Students will lose 2 hours at the museum. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Our bus driver Robert Flores was very nice. But the other bus and driver still isn't here. Students have been looking forward to this so much and are very disappointed about having to spend less time at the museum. read more

Amazing attitude and willing to work with customers

On a school trip from Fresno to Santa Barbara. On our return trip the 3rd bus was delayed but our driver Ruben did a fantastic job communicating with me. He arrived and was ready to get us home. None of my guests had any complaints, said the buses were clean, and were so happy to have the service available as our wedding venue was tricking to find. They provided excellent service and confirmed everything a week prior to ensure accurate directions and times. Not even 1 star. NEGATIVE STARS! Bus gets held up in traffic due to an accident for about an hour. Driver cancels food stop. Bus is chartering a school class field trip from Magic Mountain back to Fresno, CA. Driver previously told 35 eighth graders that they weren't allowed to use the restroom. So 35 teens and 8 + adults trapped on cramped bus. So why was pit stop cancelled??? Because driver has another job at 5:30 am next day. So Classic Charters has no plan in place for traffic delays?? How can you keep 35+ teens on a bus for 4+ consecutive hours with not even so much as a restroom pit stop let alone a scheduled food stop???? Because the next client is more important than the current client! Why is there not a plan in place for a substitute driver to take the next job??? What if we were delayed 3 hours in traffic instead of 1? The driver wouldn't have had enough time time off in between shifts to drive the next job. You have to take care of your current client and have a plan in place when unexpected events occur on the road! STAY AWAY FROM CLASSIC CHARTER if you are planning a chartered bus trip. My husband and I have used Classic Charter for over 14 years and have been very happy with their courteous and promptness at our door when we schedule a ride to FYI. Shirley is very courteous and emails our receipts. Val, a long-time driver for Classic Charter, has always been an EXCELLENT and professional driver over the years during many of our trips to and from FYI. We are very prompt and like to be outside our home with our luggage about five minutes prior to the arrival of our driver to FYI. The Classic Charter driver will call us if it is running a few minutes late (which is rare). When we arrive back to FYI, the driver calls us on our mobile to say that s/he has arrived at the airport and is waiting until we retrieve our luggage. We will then call the driver to let him / her know we are outside waiting for them to drive up and pick us up. We highly recommend Classic Charter for prompt, professional and prompt service. It is always good to have Classic Charter drive us home after a long and tiring flight to FYI from the east coast! worst experience ever today with this company. the manager was very rude saying it was my fault for not getting them the itinerary sooner.. i received a quote 2 weeks ago and reserved my charter bus. today i get call saying they cannot accommodate my trip and that i did not provide them with my itinerary details. yes i did. twice to the lady the picked up the phone and created my quote for me... now they are telling me this crap when my trip is a week away only... telling me they would have to charge me more if they can find the driver. bull crap..... never do business with this company... so much for my $4300 business. read more
