The front panel of my car came was damaged at the car wash. I was afraid I was going to have to replace it but Classic was able to fix it in less than 10 minutes. I was very satisfied with the actual work done on my Toyota. The workers were very capable and restored my vehicle to its original condition. It did have a couple of chips in the paint near where they worked but I can touch them up. It took a long time to repair because of trouble getting parts because of the issues everyone is having during Covid. During the delay my car rental allowance from my insurance ran out which cost me extra . However Ryan from Classic Collision delivered my car and to my surprise told me that they had decided to refund me half of my 500 dollar deductible to help me make up for the waiting. I told him i never expected that but thanked him for the gracious gift that would be greatly appreciated. I made plans to use the 250 dollars but it was never returned to my card. I tried to contact Ryan three times on the phone and twice by email but he never returned a call or email. I wish he would have never said they were refunding part of my deductible if he was going to change his mind. I had not expected it, but when he offered it I was thrilled. Very disappointed that he wouldn't return any messages and left me hanging. Otherwise the shop crew did a good job. Apparently I was wrong to jump to conclusions about Ryan. I should have waited a little longer for him to follow through. He has contacted me and let me know I will be getting my check tomorrow. It was just delayed because they were out of checks. I am sorry for not giving Ryan time to respond, because he was very cordial up until I jumped to conclusions. read more

John Burdolski went above and beyond, and the extra assistance gave me a much-needed morale boost regarding my car (which in turn boosted my personal morale, which needed it too) without adding anything to my bill! He is a true gentleman, seems to have passed that training on to his son, along with his business ethics and experience, and he really does provide "Knock Your Socks Off Service" (a book well-worth reading for anyone whose business involves customer service)! This is the second time I have used Classic Collision to repair a vehicle that was damaged in an accident. Both times involved an insurance claim and both times I have been extremely happy with the experience I received from start to finish. A fellow yelper said that Classic Collision is always busy and it is - with good reason. They do an awesome job and the word has spread. Their staff is friendly and in most cases family. Had to have a front bumper replaced on a 4-Runner that was backed into. The process could not have been easier. The bumper was ordered, painted, mounted, and the car was cleaned after the service was complete. It looks fantastic! The staff was friendly, professional, and polite. John Burdolski who owns Classic Collision in Kansas City Kansas has provided my family with excellent service over the years. Once again, Classic Collision has stepped to the plate and did a great job with body work on my car. Everything went smooth and seamless from start to finish. What more can you ask for in an auto body repair shop? Classic Collision is always busy so don't expect a rush job on your vehicle. What you can expect is some of the cleanest body repair work in all of Kansas City. I have experienced many shady dealing and shoddy work with other auto body shops. Most of the employees at Classic Collision are long time loyal employees. This is always a good sign and many times difficult to gauge with an unfamiliar body shop. Insurance paperwork is always a piece of cake. If not using insurance, expect a very reasonable rate. The office staff is very good at keeping in touch and updating you along the way. Estimates are fair and honest. I would be remissed if I didn't mention an incident at Classic Collision: I had taken a car to Classic for some minor body work. Mind you, it was an old Saturn vehicle not worth much at all. A week or so after dropping the vehicle off at Classic, I received a phone call informing me that the Saturn had been stolen. Yes, stolen right out of Classics secure lot. Police reports were filed and John was more than apologetic. I kept informing John that it wasn't that big of a deal. This is why auto insurance exists. Guess what?..................Within a couple days, I stop by to visit with John about a possible insurance claim and I see a construction crew installing an entire new concrete and iron perimeter with new security features. Easily thousands of dollars in investments made by Classic Collision. Within a few days, the KCK Police Department had apprehended the car thief and recovered the vehicle. So ,you think this is the end of the story?...... John Burdolski insisted on finishing the job with the Saturn. I had no reservations at all and Classic Collision completed the body work and John Burdolski solidified himself as one of the best business owners regardless of industry that I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. As long as I'm within driving distance of Classic Collision, I know exactly where my body repair work will be done (unless of course the vehicle isn't drivable from Lawrence Ks, which happened recently). read more

The bumper on my 2006 Solara fell completely off while running through a local car wash. The car wash said they would put it back on but you can guess the outcome--not great. After reading reviews about Classic Collision I decided to give them a try. John and his guys were easy to work with. They ordered the parts and a few days later reinstalled my bumper properly in about 30 minutes. The price was very reasonable perhaps even a bit low. Dusty quoted a very fair price for fixing my bumper, ordered the part, which came fast, and got me in immediately for my repair. They also did a repair on the front bumper (I had been ignoring it as not very serious) and did not charge me for that. My car looks like new. John goes above and beyond to make sure the repairs are done correctly. His shop is ran above normal standards. Very professional and personable from beginning to end. If you are paying out of pocket and not filing a claim he will give you an excellent price and options that can save you money. He is honest, friendly and professional. I have taken my car here twice for body repair. The first time was great (I paid cash). The second time, insurance covered the repairs and it was such a different experience. They were rude and unresponsive to the claims adjuster, the rental car company and us. After asking for weeks, they refused to complete a simple form which ended up costing me $200 in rental car fees! I asked nicely, I was mean, nothing worked. They bad mouthed the insurance person, and everyone else. Then they held my check for 3 months before depositing it. Not to mention my car was 2 weeks late, as they kept realizing they forgot to order a part or would find something else. Every day was a new excuse. They are so unorganized!!!!
