Have had problems with my wheel wells because fasteners were NEVER REPLACED. No discounts here either--you are screwed no matter what. And OBTW--my handicap tag is missing! I accidentally pulled the left front fender loose on my '09 Toyota when I got too close to a wall and it was just hanging on the car. I took it to Merriam Body Shop for an estimate and waited in the office. A little later, the fellow took me outside to see my car AND IT WAS PERFECT! Better than before, straight and solid, it was wonderful to see it. I asked how much and they said there was no charge. My car was perfect and there was NO CHARGE? Because I am 90 years old? I hired them to fix some shoddy bodywork done by another shop. After having my car for nearly 2 months they said it was done for the 5th time. They never fixed the bodywork before they painted the car. And they painted it the wrong color so it doesn't match. On top of that they put a dent in the back door after painting it. The owner refuses to finish the repairs and will not return my car unless I pay for the incomplete work. The guy even had the nerve to tell me that he would only finish my car if I bought 4 new doors! That was not part of the estimate because it doesn't need them. He said I will have to sue him to resolve this. Beware of this shop! read more

Had to bring my car two times because the job was not done correctly the first time. They could not match the paint color of the car, They charged good money, but the results do not correspond to the money they charge. Sad experience for me. Also, they put 7 miles on my car in the meantime, I guess they took it for a drive to have some fun. I took a picture of the odometer when I left the car. Very dishonest people. read more

Amazing people at Merriam Body Shop! For months I have struggled to find a way to get the driver's side running board fixed on my 1996 Ford E-150. The bracket had broken that holds the running board up and the fiberglass board had already cracked in several places. I'm a single senior disabled large woman who couldn't get in my van without using a step ladder and then pulling the ladder in behind me. My van allows me to transport my electric handicap scooter. They fixed it best they could and it is again functional. The owner and his wife are lovely people and we enjoyed talking and showing pictures of our rescue dogs from our cameras as the young man fixed my van. Then, much to my surprise, they wouldn't let me pay for their work. Heartwarming! Although I've driven for 51 years without an accident (knock on wood), should I ever need body work, these are the guys to go to! read more

I can't believe no one has given this shop a review yet. This place was great. My car was broken into and the ignition was ripped out, along with a window mechanism that needed replacing as a consequence of the break in. My insurance recommended I have it towed to Merriam Body Shop. I was really impressed with them from start to finish. They were professional and very fast. My car was dropped off Friday (they are closed on the weekends) and by Wednesday it was ready to pick up. When I went to pick it up, I didn't see my car because the owner told me they stored it inside to avoid hail damage from the storms the night before. Maybe it was for liability purposes, or maybe they were just being considerate, but I thought that was a nice gesture. The owner and his wife were very friendly and I knew my car was in good hands. If you're looking for a shop that does good, honest, and fast work, I would recommend this place. You don't find many shops like this one anymore! read more
