I want to preface this by saying that Classic did a great job with my car itself and that's why I'm giving them 3 stars. My problem was the lack of communication when it came to the parts. Close to when my car was going to be completed Classic wanted to charge my insurance $513 because it was the listing price for my bumper even though Classic only paid $246 and not the listing price. My insurance of course denied it and attempted to pass the $513 to me, even though my insurance had already sent them $246. They told me that they didn't approve the final estimate from my insurance and that was the reason why they were charging me $440ish (I don't know how it got to that from $513). This of course did not make sense to me. Jimmy then had me talk to his manager who said that they were going to "eat" the $340ish, which $450 minus $246 does not even equal that. It amazed me that even as their customer they still wanted to charge me the listing price of the bumper instead of what they paid for it. I may be misunderstanding something, I don't know if this is what auto shops do to try to make a profit, but it was not even communicated to me that the bumper from the vendor that my insurance approved came damaged and that a "more expensive" bumper needed to be purchased. Their answer to all of this, is that my insurance is a difficult insurance to work with, I will say that my insurance is not within their network, so I don't know if other insurances within their network let them charge whatever they want. I do want to make it clear that I ended not paying the difference because they "ate" the cost. My frustration was twofold with my insurance and with Collision. I don't want a response from Collision, if they want to add their side, go ahead. They did resolve the issue, but I advocated for myself a lot to have this remedy, therefore, I do not need a call from anybody and just wanted to write my experience so others can make their own informed decisions. I would recommend that before signing the contract that you ask if you are liable for paying listing price instead of purchased price if your insurance does not approve it and get their answer in writing. I did reach out to a lawyer to ask this question, but I did not go further because as I said before, they did not charge me. read more

She answered all my questions and gave me clear instructions on reserving a rental car with Enterprise, which really helped things go smoothly. They even let me know 24 hours in advance when my car would be ready so I could return the rental. They met the exact timeline they projected and the communication was great. Terrible customer service. They called me by the wrong name every single time I contacted them. They had the wrong contact information on file and never corrected it, even after I reached out multiple times. I received my car with primer all over it, missing top molding, cracked plastic shaders, and an odd yellow stain on the left side. Every time I roll my window up or down, it now scratches my tint, making it dangerous to drive since I can barely see out of my left mirror. It clearly wasn't installed properly. I was also told they use the cheapest possible parts, and I had to wait an extra two days because one of the doors they ordered was in such bad condition it couldn't even be used. First, the receptionist didn't find my appointment, but she made an arrangement to have a specialist to check out my car. The guy came and took photos of my damaged car. Made an appointment on 3/01/23 through their website to dropoff my vehicle for repair on 3/03/23. I show up for my appointment on time on the designated date and my appointment is not in the system. The female checking me in asks if my appointment was made via the website. When I confirm yes, she states that those appointments are only to hold a spot for me to make an appointment for dropoff. Yes you read that right, she said it's an appointment to make an appointment. I told her that doesn't make any sense and she insisted on it. I mean they are mediocre, unfortunately this is the shop my insurance company paired up with..... so same stars to GEICO.... they take took way long.... I am the one having to call them for updates, or my pushing on my insurance company, while sometimes I call and they are not available. They should be the ones reaching out to the insurance company when they tell me "I am waiting on them" that is silly, why wait? you should be trying to resolve the situation to your customers. Honestly my car has been there over a month and every time I call is they are waiting on parts..... My truck got rear ended and the other person insurance was going to take care of it. Took it to classic collision because of their high rating. Dropping off the truck was great service and would let me know when the truck was done. Well when I received the call for pick up and looked at the truck instead of installing a new rear panel they pulled and hammered the old one and applied bondo. It's still had scratches because the bondo was not filled in properly. Some areas had orange peel also and they installed my old rear tail light bulbs from the wreck so they don't work or wiring was not good. Something they had to fix cause of the wreck. I got pulled over by the way for the rear tail lights. It was a rushed job maybe they gave the job to an apprentice but I was not taken care of. Personally I wouldn't go back and would take my business elsewhere. read more

We originally chose this shop because it was close to our home and it had good reviews. Since the beginning there were a lot of red flags and we wanted to take our car somewhere else but one of the representatives assured us that we would be getting the best experience. They came to pick up our car and then returned it the next day, then came to pick it up. Three days later they lost our original key, so we had to give them our spare key. Our car was supposed to be ready three different times and finally when the car was "ready" my husband went to go pick it up and asked them to put the car on the lift, when my husband was inspecting the car, he noticed that the inner rim was bent and some of the under parts were still damaged. It took about 3 months for the car to be done. Now that I have the car, there are strange noises when I break and accelerate. I don't trust taking my car back to them. read more

This is my 2nd follow up to my previous review. I did get a reply on Yelp from the "manager" I guess. I would think they would have just called me directly about my issue rather than leave a yelp response, but they probably do that to make it them look better on Yelp since they can't delete my review. Well I never got a callback as I was told. They called my insurance company not sure why as it was under THEIR lifetime warranty. The insurance company denied the claim as they should. This wasn't even a claim that should have been opened. They NEVER should have called the insurance company. This is a warranty issue on their end. Classic Collision apparently ordered a completely different part that I don't need and still nobody ever called me back to tell me about any part delays. Honestly Classic Collision has not 1 time called me for ANYTHING. I don't even know how long it's been at this point since I started all this "warranty" repair stuff. I'm going to say at least 4 months at this point. I finally just made an appt to take my car to the dealer. Thank you Classic Collision for nothing. it was a very devastating Sunday when my car got hit since it wasn't the first time being repaired. the second time it wasn't that big of a hit so I return it back to the same body shop that did the first time to work on my car to my surprise everything went smooth and fast. Crystal the estimator, did an amazing work on keeping up with me every Tuesday and Thursday with parts update and how the car was going. Also I was very glad that my car was assembled pretty fast and all my aftermarket stuff was assembled quickly and precisely the way it was pre-collision. Im satisfied with how the paint came out it came out super beautiful with fresh pearls. Cesar the manager assisted that my aftermarket bumper lips would not be a problem reinstalled. I had my repaired while the businesses was under Platinum collision and right after the repair they switched to classic collision. This review is not about the repairs but about the customer service. There were a lot of little problems with the repairs and that are relatively quick fixes however getting a hold of anyone there that can help you is nearly impossible. So I went in and waited for 40 minutes to speak to someone and they said send an email. I sent the email and three days later they responded with it wasn't their responsibility until I assured them they worked on that part. I finally got an appointment almost a month out and the fix took 10 minutes. I tried calling recently about another issue about my car window that keeps falling down. They said they now do not provide warranty on The work that was done with platinum. Jessica said have to go through my insurance. While trying to ask if I can take it to another platinum or find other solutions for a problem I need fix sooner than later she hung up on me saying she has other customers.
