I simply said what I was hoping for, an independent inspection from a local mechanic (I live in Los Angeles & traveled out to Norco to look at this car), that I was looking for a used Japanese or Korean car, & my price range. As soon as I shared the name of the dealership (I didn't say anything about my experience or concerns with them, just the name), Kenni said she won't even do business with them, as they sold a used Mustang to her son whose clutch he asked them to fix, because he could tell it needed repair, they refused, and it went out about 800 miles after the warranty he purchased with this used car dealership expired, the clutch then costing $1000 to repair. I found Super Service on yelp and saw that they had a 60 point vehicle inspection. I went to the shop and was greeted by Ben who was very friendly and was able to give a detailed diagnostic of my car. I even received a break down of what my car needed along with cost for each service. Not only were there pictures but also videos of what's wrong with the car explaining how that affects the car. My car needed to remove and replace the serpentine belt tensioner and idler pulley and everything was done by the end of the day. WHO in their right mind would agree to only a 6 mos warranty after paying that much?! So, the car ran well for about 7 months, then transmission went out. I called him, and had the car towed back over there. He said that " you know it's out of warranty, but I will see what I can do". So now he forgets about what he initially told me! So, he kept my car for another 6 mos......dodging all of my calls, and making up B.S. excuses about why my car wasn't ready! He didn't do the turn signal so the quote should have been lower. He stated that some of the money would go towards the diagnostic and the repair. The total turned into $560.90. Not even a couple hours in the diagnostic he stated he terminated the turn signal cause it's after market. I was told my truck would be done latest the next business day. That turned into we can't get your truck together because of issues and we need it for the next day. He didn't tell me this until the middle of the day that my truck should have been finished. I'm sure he "Steven" does care or keep his word. He didn't even knock the price down to show some sympathy for making things worse. Cause rental cars are not cheap and he caused me another day and that was not the plan him and I agreed to. I know this shop is in Norco so don't let the location fool you. The people that live in Norco are way better than this. This shop should move downtown in LA where they can take advantage of all the tourists that come to spend money.
