My service advisor saw the big ole chip on the front windshield. Gave me the business card for SuperGlass. They highly recommend SuperGlass. The dealership does business with them quite often on a lot of the cars. I trust my service advisor's rec and trust that the dealership does good business with this company so I took a chance. Texted Mike. Got a response right away. Walked me through the steps of what I should tell my insurance company to get them to send the referral to SuperGlass. The process was quick and easy with Mike's help. Mike was responsive, honest, and communicative. Monday morning he texts me back and says, they've received the referral and that the glass has been ordered. Midweek, Veronica texts me and says that the glass should arrive by the end of the week, maybe Friday. Can we schedule for end of week. I said absolutely! We scheduled something for the following week on a Thursday. They were able to come to my job. Veronica had kept me updated throughout the whole process through and through with the technician who was coming to install my windshield. His name is Darius. She told me he would arrive between 10AM-1PM at my job. He was there by 11AM. Called me to let me know that he was on his way and his ETA. Did what he had to do. Glass was replaced. Looks great! Told me that the tech, Doug who calibrates the car, will call me as soon as he heads over as he's leaving another job. Surely enough, Doug calls me. Lets me know his ETA and comes in, grabs my keys, gets to working on calibrating my car. All questions answered and felt like they took care of my car so well. Super pleased at this point. Impressed with the service, the easiness of going through my insurance company w/this company has been easy and such a breeze. On my way home, I noticed that the windshield had some deep scratches on the windshield. I reached out to them the next day, Friday. Let Veronica know I had noticed some deep scratches on the windshield. She asked me to send pictures and told me that she would have a tech reach out to me to coordinate a time and location that he can meet me so he can buff it out for me. Eric and I settled for Saturday. He was running behind, but kept in contact with me through the day to let me know his ETA. Not a problem for me considering he was coming to my place of residence. We did exchange text messages and phone calls, I did let him know that I saw a few scratches, he said no problem, has he'd do his very best to make sure it's as least noticeable as possible. That. day he comes, works on it for about an hour and it looks amazing! Brand new! Not only until after he left did I see the other scratch that I couldn't find when he was there. Texted him immediately, didn't expect him to come back. It's a Saturday, he may have other jobs to go to. So I told him, I'd reach out to Veronica on Monday. Which I did. Explained everything to her. She was more than understanding, since Eric was going to be in the area, she told me he'd reach out to me and see if he can swing by and take a look and buff it out. He again, called me, we agreed for him to come over and it took him literally 30-45 mins and he was done. The deep scratch is gone, like it never happened. I cannot recommend this business enough! The whole team made it quick, easy, and smooth. I didn't have to worry not one bit about my car. Not worrying if they're going to do a good job. If they're going to meet expectations. They surpassed it. Definitely recommend this business for sure. When those rocks and things come flying at your windshield on 95-South and you have damage, get in touch with these guys. I brought my Tesla to Safelite for a windshield replacement and specifically told the employees…read morethat they could drive the vehicle for calibration, but that it needed to remain in Service Mode because driving outside of Service Mode could affect my Tesla Insurance Safety Score. I saw the vehicle before it left the parking lot and explicitly told them not to drive it outside of Service Mode. They ignored that instruction, removed the vehicle from Service Mode, and drove it on public roads anyway. While they had my car, their driving triggered an Excessive Speeding event in Tesla's Safety Score system and lowered my Safety Score. I repeatedly told Safelite to bring my vehicle back. I made that request more than five times, and they continued driving it. I then asked for a manager. When he came out, he told me that they would never take my business again because I complained about this. This was not a hypothetical concern. Their decision to disregard my explicit instructions resulted in an actual negative change to my Tesla Insurance Safety Score. I am escalating this to Safelite corporate and requesting a formal investigation into both the handling of my vehicle and the management response.

A couple weeks ago I purchased a Tesla Y panoramic glass roof from Sunroof Express. Sunroof Express…read morerecommended American auto glass for the installation. I live in tradition and would have never come up this far to have the panoramic glass top installed unless referred by Sunroof Express. The installer and the owner of the company of American auto glass, John R. Hall advised me he removed spacers from the panoramic glass roof in order to make it fit better. In speaking with Tesla and doing further research, I learned that the spacers are there strategically engineered to absorb impact to prevent cracking and breakage of the top and should never be removed. I called Sunroof Express, and requested a full refund for the panoramic glass roof of which they refunded me however they will not refund me for the installation of the glass panel which is $550. My consolation today was John said if the glass panel leaks, or I hear air, he will warranty the labor. I asked him if he would warranty the labor due to a crack in the panoramic glass due to poor installation and he said no! Essentially, what happened is the installer, John R. Hall owner of American auto glass has ruined the glass panoramic panel and I must now go to Tesla and have it installed properly and pay for installation charges again! Adding fuel to the fire Christine said yesterday on the phone they would refund the labor cost of $550 but upon arriving today, John R. Hall made it clear that was not going to happen. Steer clear of this company they're unethical and have a problem with the truth and technical installs.
