As the wedding date approached we also worked with Gary who was great to work with and was a wonderful day of the wedding manager. He took the worry out of anything before it became a concern. They were both awesome to work with. The entire staff at the wedding were great. The chefs, waiters and waitresses as well as the bus boys and clean up crew to the bartenders were all professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The food, what can I say about the food...The kids wanted a bbq and Vinwood offers various buffet themed events. We went with the Western BBQ which included salad, bread, steak tips, ribs, sausage, chicken, corn and potato salad. All were excellent and our guests were raving about the food. There was something for everyone which was great. Prices for the buffet were very reasonable and lower than some that we looked into. They were friendly, helpful and effective from the tasting to the very end of the wedding day, when the staff went above and beyond to help politely usher guests out of the venue so we could make our curfew on time. Lori and her team are pros. They knew what we wanted and they executed. They even provided a private dinner for my husband and I so that we could have what we heard was impossible: actually enjoy our wedding meal and spend some quality 1:1 time together on our special day. At the tasting, Lori brought out a meal we hadn't even ordered: their melt-in-your-mouth short rib. My dad and my husband tried it and after one bite, they knew we had to have it on the menu. Put out a few platters of cole slaw, potato salad & maybe some rolls so that people can endure the long wait for the entree. I'll be back to the restaurant itself but I wouldn't hire them to do an event because their timing is poor and you feel as though everything is being rationed (I had enough of that feelng while waiting for TP during the lockdown!)
