I called the company and Brad made and showed up on time for a same day appointment (matter of fact it was about 1&1/2 hours from phone call). The sad part is I really wanted work done, but after speaking with Brad he was honest enough to tell me that the work wasn't necessary, at least not at this time. Brad Rocks! I don't really know how to be any clearer really. I did a DIY job, renovating my bathroom to accommodate my elderly mother. Function was important but as I live here too aesthetics are also important. I contacted three vendors for a bid, Classic Glass provided the median pricing. One was hundreds of dollars more and the other, while several hundred lower didn't inspire confidence the way Brad did. From the very first conversation, I felt comfortable and wanted him to do the job. Brad was upfront about the scope of work, and provided transparency (pun intended) of what needed to be done. I didn't even realized that the outer pane of my patio sliding door was broken until I was hearing strange sound like tree branches hitting the window. It turned out the entire glass was shattered. This was around 5:00 PM Friday afternoon (3/29/2019). I called several places and most of them replied me that they didn't provided such service. Then I called Classic Glass and Brad answered, and we scheduled an appointment to assess the damage the next day. On Saturday, Brad came over on time, went over the damage and gave an estimate right away, it was very clear: how much the glasses cost to order, how much he charged for the installation, and how much the tax would be. I requested him to go ahead and he said he would contact me once the order was arrived. A week later, I received a call from Brad and scheduled a time slot for installation. Brad arrived on time and installed the patio sliding door glasses in an hour. The job was well done, and Brad also cleaned up most of the debris with vacuum. Over all, the process of questing quote, on-site assessment, replacement and installation was very pleasant. Brad is very courteous and upfront. He also pointed out that one of my other sliding door window probably needs repair due to outer pane sealant was probably leaking and let moisture got inside. Some 4 months after the installation of my shower door and wall, the shower door had slipped a bit out of alignment, due to daily use. We have an antique pewter shower door frame, and the glass in it recently broke. I called Brad, and he answered the phone right away. He asked me to send him a photo of the shower door, and when I did, he promptly texted me a quote for new glass, including installation. His price was very reasonable. He was very flexible about scheduling a time to come out to measure the glass. When he arrived, he was a super nice guy, professional, and very knowledgeable. He suggested taking the door frame with him so that he could set the new glass in silicone so it would be sturdier in the frame. He ordered the glass, set it in the door, and came back to install it the following week. He attached the door to my tiles more securely than it had been originally, and the glass is thicker than the original glass. Contractors who are owners and operators tend to do a better job because they have a vested interest in making sure the customer is happy. He's real responsive and shows up on time - two things that go a long way in an industry that sometimes has too many flakes. Price-wise he's very reasonable. Unfortunately it wasn't all great. I take one star off because of what I consider sloppy caulking and a rather large gap (1/2" because of a mis-measurement) on one of the panels which had to be filled with silicone. I take off one more star because the unclean caulking lines led to several leaking spots and required a call back. Brad's a great guy and reliable. After going through two of the shower kits (shower pan, walls, and shower door) from Lowes, we decided to go ahead and put a REAL shower in. Those kits from Lowe's are not heavy duty and while they look great at first, the shower pans crack and you end up with a big ugly problem. We tore out the shower, had a custom cultured marble pan installed and then started researching shower door options. I called around and spoke to a handful of shower door companies but it was easy to cross them off my list. Either they were not at all flexible with times to come out to measure, didn't return calls, wanted to give us an estimate without even looking at the job, or didn't seem to know what they were talking about. I stopped by one showroom (NOT Classic Glass and Shower) and the person there really didn't have a clue and when I left my information and rough measurements so someone could call me, I got a voice mail with a cost but no information on the type of glass, the type of enclosure, what kind of hardware, or anything. Ugh! Finally, I called Brad. Thank goodness. He gave me a lot of good information over the phone. He was quite frank about frame less showers looking great and being trendy but known for not being water tight. He explained about options that no other company had mentioned. He was flexible with a time to come out and take a look and measure. He patiently answered endless questions and was upfront about how long we could expect seals to last, where water would collect, how sturdy the frame options were, etc. He gave us information on the different types of glass and the different types of enclosures and the pros and cons of each.
