I have a. Hugh Glass Window on my House. One of the Neighborhood Kids accidentally hit it with a Baseball!! That Put a Nice sized Crack right in the Middle of the Giant Picture Window!! Of course no one told me that it Happened until I noticed it and Checked my Cameras and saw the Culprits !!!! Then add the Little Earthquakes we been having , my Picture Window looked like a Road Map of Cracks So I called 4 People for Estimates !!! I figured I might as well Upgrade the Window to a Nice One !!! Manor Window & Glass was one of the 4 Companies I Called!!! I liked that he was a Local Company and that they have been Serving San Leandro for Decades!!! He came out and we discussed my Options!!! I Chose a Custom Dual Slider Window!!! The Window is so large it was going to take 4 Weeks to Custom Fabricate !!! Mark the Owner came to my house to Verify the Measurements and the Type of Window I wanted and the Company!!! I then gave him a Deposit! To have the Window made and Installation when it arrived!!! The Window arrived 4 Weeks later and Mark Called to Schedule Installation!!!! The Installation Team Mark sent was Awesome!!! They were Friendly and Professional and Efficient!!! They put Drop Cloths In and Outside my House !!! They then they put Adhesive Tape on the Whole Broken Window Inside and Out then they Broke The Cracked Window out and Folded The Pieces and Removed Them to their Installation Truck for Disposal!!! They then removed the Last of the Existing Window !!! They cleaned the existing window frame and Vacuumed the Entire Window Opening and my Carpets and the Outside Window Frame!! They then Grabbed my New Window and Test Fitted it!!! They trimmed my new window and then Set it and Mounted it and Anchored it down with 4 Inch Screws!! They Then Caulked my New Window in and Sealed it up!!! They Even gave me a Wood Dowel Rod I could Set in the Window Track !! So a Burglar Couldn't pop the Slider open from outside!! The Installers left my house nice and clean!!! Then Mark came by and I paid the Balance Off on the Window and Installation!!! I will definitely use Mark and Manor Window & Glass again for my Window Needs!!! They are a Baller On A Budget Approved Establishment and Service!!! I keep my Pimp Hands Strong!!! My husband and I were so glad that our patio sliding door got fixed last Saturday. I would highly recommended Mark, he is very professional and full of experience in terms of explaining, I contacted him through yelp message, and he responded instantly and gave us a good deal compared to Home Depot. Mark came to visit us early in the morning on second day, and got the measurement everything in less than 30 minutes. He gave us lead time from ordering to installing will be around 2 weeks (2 months for Home Depot ), which is true, he made his promise! Mark's team came early on Saturday to uninstall and install, and they're very professional in everything. They applied plastic sheeting against the wall to separate the area and also on the floor. This is the part that we're happy about as we didn't need to clean up the mess after they're done. I can see that they won't be rushing to finish their work, they spent almost half day to get the project done & the team will try to make sure everything is in the great shape. I messaged Mark after hours on a Friday evening, not expecting to hear back until the following Monday. Wouldn't you know, the man works overtime and got back to me immediately that evening. Probably less than an hour! I needed a plate glass patio window replacement after our gardener had an episode with a weed whacker which sent a rock flying into it. Long story short, Mark and his installer Frank made quick work of the replacement in less than 10 days, and it took less than 2 hours for the installation, AND they cleaned up all the broken glass. The price point was exceptional as well. I couldn't be happier, and the window is beautiful. Friendly and great service, and wouldn't you know...Mark's installer just happened to know the gardener who broke the window. Ha! The world is very small! Pricing is fair and the guys work incredibly fast. We ran into a dry rot issue while replacing the sliding door leading to our deck and Mark walked us though our options for handling the issue however we were most comfortable (given that it was an unforeseen cost). I was referred by a neighbor who used them a few years back. I did an online request and received an email within the hour. Mark came the following day I believe and took measurements and gave me my estimate. He was upfront with n the timeline I would have to wait for window ordering. Upon windows coming in I was excited to learn he could actually begin installation that weekend. Install was painless and even when my painter noticed some missed areas with my existing frames he came out promptly and fixed the issue. I had 22 windows installed. My husband and I just purchased our first home in San Leandro (yeah!!). The previous owners did a wonderful job getting the house ready for market and that included replacing two of the bedroom windows. We asked them who did the work because we love the windows and want to use the same company for the other bedroom as well as the bathroom - and they referred us to Manor Window. I've called three times over the past three weeks, leaving messages each time. No call back. Finally, on the fourth try, someone answered the phone and he basically said he couldn't help me because they're too busy. Obviously this review has nothing to do with their quality, only their customer service. If you're that busy, hire help. God knows there are plenty of people in need of work right now.
