This company is horrendous, they don't communicate and can't be trusted to execute anything other than perhaps a very straightforward project. I had selected a very specific piece of marble for my island countertop, and specified both verbally and in writing at least a dozen times that I wanted that particular piece with its unique veining. I paid quite a bit more than I was initially planning for counters because I fell in love with this specific slab - it was going to be the most unique and beautiful feature of the house and I felt that it was worth it. Despite EXTENSIVE communication from me and the designer (and multiple assurances that the desired section was being reserved), I found out a few days before scheduled installation that they had cut up that section to use elsewhere. After speaking to the manager Cindy, I got a corporate scripted apology and what sounds like questionable retroactive CYA-type nonsense about that section having a scratch that would have rendered it unusable. There was no scratch when I saw the marble in person, or in any of the photos that I took when I visited. Possible that it occurred later, but I was being reassured for WEEKS that the piece I wanted was reserved, and only found out it was gone days before the installation. I was crushed - I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. In addition to this, they accidentally released my marble slabs back into inventory at one point (I only found out because I randomly went to visit, otherwise they could have been sold without me ever knowing). There's no communication between team members, the senior people work remotely and clearly couldn't care less. Do yourself a favor and purchase from a business that actually has functional lines of communication and can accommodate simple and straightforward requests. read more

CGM installed new countertops in our house. It was such a GREAT and uncomplicated process! Meaghan walked us through all their slabs, and they had a ton to choose from! We ended up with a Cambria quartz that is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! The installation also went perfect. Our island is fairly large so in order to get the entire slab in the house (in one piece) it required 4 installers. Also we kept our existing backsplash which required them to be extra careful in removing the old quartz and also required a little shimmying of the new quartz to fit it just right. It was a GREAT experience all around and I would highly recommend CGM!! read more

For your sanity and $s please don't use Classic Granite & marble for any type of countertop. We didn't choose them, they came recommended from our kitchen supplier, Zenith, who said they were great. They weren't. The island counteract had to be re-done twice because they ignored our initial instructions. When the countertop came back a third time it was chipped along the edges. The installation was sub-standard, the seaming of two parts of a long counter top is a mess and the pre-drilled hole for the main faucet is off center which they refused to fix despite being told when the counter was templated we wanted it lined up with the window frame. This is a horrible company to work with. Any problems are your fault and they resist every effort to repair mistakes they made. Don't use this company. The quality of their work is sub-standard. read more

One of the best experiences I had doing a home improvement project was with Classic Granite & Marble. They did my kitchen countertops and backsplash with Quartz and changed the kitchen sink with a deeper one. Very professional outfit with top notch workmanship and communication. The price was great and I certainly felt I got my money's worth and more. All the scheduled installation and measurement appointments were well communicated ahead of time. I worked with Dilan who walked me through the entire process and explained everything about the project, including all minute details that made me very comfortable with what was going to be performed. During my visit to the shop, Rosa showed me all options inside the sales floor and even took me into the warehouse to show what the bigger slabs would look like to get a better idea on what the final product would look like. She went above and beyond to explain options and the pros/cons of them which I appreciated a lot; and overall very likable and friendly personality. Dilan also helped me pick design elements I wasn't sure about the install and I am glad I took his advice since they all came out great; I felt I got a free interior designer for free completing this job :). Omar and the installation team installed both the counter tops and the backsplash and the attention to detail was impressive to watch and the final touches were done with a lot of care. Pathetic response, don't care about you. You're thinking about spending at least $5000 with someone, you want to be able to have a communication channel open. Please find someone else to do your stone work, or refrain from doing it altogether. I had them give me a quote over the email, and spoke to their customer service department a few times to place the order. Even walked into the slab yard on my own accord, and selected stone myself after a rude interaction with some sales guy. I was assigned a project manager who offered, but never followed up with a revised estimate. A couple of days later, their template guy called me to do exact measurements. His window was a whole day. After waiting till about 4 PM, and trying to call him a 100 times, I left. He came in the following day - again no communication about a time window. I'm working with a few contractors (including name brands, big box stores, and no name people) for my house, and haven't had this kind of trouble with anyone. Another day later, I once again called in to ask for a revised estimate, and expressed my desire to get this over with soon, and said it was my last attempt before moving on to a different seller by the close of business the following day. The customer service person said the owner, and the sales rep/project manager will call me. After another set of desperate/frustrated attempts, someone called me at 4.50 PM trying to blame me for rescheduling the template measurement. I finally moved on. read more

I love them, LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!! They delivered and installed the perfect counters for my house when we rebuilt after my house blew up and burned down. Rosa was awesome, she helped me pick the right looks for all 5 counters and that included remnants which saved me money!!!! Then on top of that she searched and found a remnant for me for our counter in our rental home just based on the pics I sent her! She sent me three samples that worked and one was perfection! We checked out at least 5 granite companies and decided they had a great selection/price. Amanda was great and took us around the warehouses to select from a huge selection of granite and while she was out of office, Rosa was helpful/friendly too - she pulled up two slabs to pick from before we got there. Also, we got to take home samples of the granite we liked, that was helpful to see next to the wall and cabinets. The project turnover was quick once we picked the slab. Scheduled measurement the following week and got the countertops and sink installed after that week. No extra credit card fee like other places. Fast installation, it was nice they removed the old counter top and sink. We installed our own faucet, and hooked up the plumbing, otherwise it's 350 bucks. I would recommend to others! read more

We needed a new countertop for our main bathroom as we were selling the house, we didn't want to spend a lot of money. We found this company on the internet and thought we would take a look. Stopped on a busy Saturday but was helped right away. Assortment is small but was adequate for our needs. We found the piece we wanted and was given a price within our budget. They came out on time for template measurements and installation. We would use them again if we were staying in the area. read more

The granite selection is good and the work looks to be quality; however, the customer service is terrible to the point that I would not recommend anyone use this company. After signing a contract, they made very little effort to inform me of any sort of schedule. Despite being told that they would contact me to schedule a measure and installation day and time, they didn't. I had to contact them. They told me it would take three hours for measuring, so I scheduled it for a time to take a half day off work; it only took 35 minutes. I could have better scheduled it to not take so much time off work. On top of this, when they called to confirm my measure appointment, they had the wrong times. And they never gave me a start time for the installation day; they just gave me a date. I had to call to the day before to find out what time they would arrive I was offered only two different ways to cut the slab of granite I chose. I'm not sure why I only had two choices. Is it really so difficult to provide software to get exactly the cuts you want from the slab you purchased? As a result of this, the patterns on my island do not properly flow with the patters on the counter tops. In addition to only two choices, after making my selection, they said they were going to proceed with the OTHER option. I had to contact them right away to stop them from making such a huge mistake. The worst, though, was my experience with their complete lack of coordination with the subcontractor they used. Before the installation, I did not have a garbage disposal, but with the new counter tops, they said they could get an electrician there and do the work. They waited till the day before the installation to contact the electrician and obviously this was not enough notice. I was forced to wait a week and a half for the electric work to be done, as well as take an ADDITIONAL half day off work. They then informed me that this was my fault as I had the electrician's contact information and should have made the schedule myself. The gall and arrogance to make such a huge schedule error, then blame the customer! On top of all this, they had to make cuts into my cabinets to accommodate the large sink I bought. This in and of itself is fine and knew they would probably have to do this. However, they had to cut into an adjacent cabinet as well and didn't bother to move any of my pots and pans, which resulted in every single pot and pan to be covered in saw dust, nor did they bother to clean up the mess they made. While I have nice counter tops now, my overall experience with them was terrible. The lack of attention to detail and the complete lack of customer service is so much that I would never recommend anyone use them. Two stars, instead of one, because I do like my counter tops. read more

I had my countertops replaced in my kitchen. We had visited a few granite stores/services before coming to CG&M. Once we visited CG&M, we KNEW immediately this would be where we would buy our granite and have them install it. Our representative was Meghan and she was fantastic. She helped us with design choice and knew exactly what options made sense based on pictures. She wasn't pushy, just very open and helpful. She stayed within our budget and didn't try to push us out of it. Once we made our selection, we had someone come in an prepare a layout for us to see the different ways our slab might be cut. Within a week of our final approval, installation was scheduled. The team arrived early, did great work and even helped us with some leveling work we needed to do with the cabinets, as well as a ledge set up for the granite behind our range/oven. A plumber also came and set up our new sink and faucet within 30 minutes of the granite being installed. I want to thank Classic Marble and Granite for the excellent granite installation and for having such good customer service. After the kitchen remodelling was completed, we noticed a few minute nicks in the granite, and Classic readily came out to make those repairs under the warranty, during the one-year warranty period. They kept me informed, gave me options, and were immediately responsive to any questions I had. The installers were on time, and on-point. My house is over 100 years old and there are definite quirks to work with and these folks took the time to do it right and cleaned up when they left. And my counter is beautiful! read more

It was because of the samples that we realized our marble had more of a purple hue in it, so we selected another type. Installers were professional and tidy--perfectionists really. I've never had a worse experience with a business in my entire life. Their communications are terrible and they're a disorganized disaster -- but most notably, they SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED my kitchen during installation. At the outset, they started pressuring me to order my stone ASAP because it was sold out and I would have to get on a wait list. I called the stone manufacturer and they said that was not true. So CGM apologized for that confusion. Then they sent the wrong person to take measurements at 7am -- different tools are used depending on if you have existing cabinets. So they had to send someone out a second time. Stone installation was a nightmare. They refused to cover the cabinets in anything protective and made huge scratches all over the brand new cabinets. Then rubbed black oil paint all over my cabinets to try to "fix" them without my permission, which stripped all the finish off my cabinets completely destroying them. The men who came installed were crass and rude, dropping my laptop on the floor, kicking my shoes across the room like soccer balls to get them out of the way. They dropped glue on my brand new hardwoods which I was never able to remove - and they said they would not take care of it. The man who came out to assess all the cabinet damage accidentally flooded our floors - he was knocking around the kitchen and didn't realize his workers had not reconnected the pipes and accidentally turned the dishwasher on, flooding the floors and leaving permanent damage. On top of it, they actually did such a poor job measuring that the stone they brought was completely crooked and left huge gaps showing wall behind the stone. They tried to convince me this was "normal" and there was absolutely no way to cut the stone any better and install it. We told them to try again. Lo and behold second time around they got it cut perfect, installed it, no gaps. So clearly not impossible. I'm still working on fixing all the damage in my kitchen from these idiots, 6 months later. read more

My husband and I tagged and paid in full for two slabs of stone ($6K) for a major home renovation. CG&M lost one slab, found it, and then fabricated it wrong. They "lost" the other slab--gone forever (sold to someone else) with no explanation or apology. They tried to deceive us by substituting a different, inferior piece of stone during the template process--twice. This set our project behind by several weeks and cost us a considerable amount of money. Since then we have found other fabricators who are professional, ethical, and competent. Our advice: Avoid CG&M, and go elsewhere. read more

Had to replace a cook top that a tenant broke, but when the new unit arrived it was slightly too large for the existing cut out. I called several places and they didn't want to take the work since it was too small. These guys showed up in a few days and fixed my issue within about an hour. Highly recommend them. read more

We were the captive customer - took us months to settle on a granite company/slab/color and because they made a mistake on the quote, we were given the option to walk away knowing full well we had put a lot of time and effort to settle on this. This company has been atrocious. Our designer works with them for some reason and from the moment we walked into the showroom, we were rudely greeted by someone that does not have a solid grasp of the English language. And for the duration of our visit either left us to our own devices in a showroom with forklifts flying around, or kept telling us all the things we could NOT get, or see. In order to avoid further delays with our reno we powered through picked our granite and got the hell out of there. Now...we're still waiting for our granite...reno is done, except for the things that NOT having the granite is holding up. Our contractor told us that it took 4 days from his request for them to come measure for the counters, and from that point we are now going to wait an additional 13 days to get them installed. Ever done a kitchen reno? If you have, you'd know that waiting an unnecessary 17 days (avg 7 days) to get it completed will make you want to blow your brains out. From top to bottom our experience with Classic has been horrible, they are not responding to our designer's communication and I'm very worried about how this is all going to turn out...and I could never recommend them to someone. If you, or your designer are considering this company...beware. read more

I hired Classic Granite and Marble for a recent home project and they did an excellent job from start to finish. Their showroom staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and they answered all of our questions while providing entertainment for the kids. Their staff member who measured for our install was also very helpful and had good suggestions for the final layout. They then provided me with a digital rendering of the stone I selected and showed me virtual stone cut options so I could see exactly what it would look like after the install was complete. This is a very unprofessional company. After taking half the amount as deposit they sent out a measuring / template person to our home a week later. Then they sent a template drawing showing us an L-shaped countertop being cut up into four pieces. Al Eral from this company lied to us about the size of the slab available so he could use some leftover drop pieces on our project. And then he says our project is on hold wasting our time further. We called both the local distributor and manufacturer of the Quartz who confirmed that he lied about the available slab size. Save your hard-earned money! Do not hire this company for your remodeling project. read more

Of the four counter tops installed by this subcontractor, only one was acceptable after the first attempt, two were made right with a schedule delay, and the third had ugly visible seams, stone grains that did not match and I had the third countertop replaced by a different contractor at an additional expense of $2,700.00 because Classic Granite and Marble would not stand behind their work and the project was behind schedule. During the resolution process, I experienced an obvious lack of concern for customer satisfaction vs. Classic's priority for cost and material savings. Classic was quick to replace the defective master bath countertop (faucet holes drilled too close together) and equally quick to refuse to replace the kitchen countertop stating that the visible seams and the mismatched stone grains were "industry standard." They compounded the difficulty during a review meeting by sending a representative who was not authorized to make a decision, wasted the time of everyone in attendance and then blamed us for the results stating that we authorized the deviation from the drawing. Their promised "virtually invisible seams" were far from invisible. The other countertops look nice, but I would never recommend this company. read more

I was taken to the back warehouse to choose a slab, which was fantastic because I could actually see for myself what I was buying instead of a picture online. I tagged a slab and left. When it came time to install they showed up with a totally different color. I didn't notice until it was installed. Craftsmanship was amazing. Quality of work was great. The onsite contractors were very nice. But when management was told about the situation they said "its what I approved and chose". I pleaded my case, argued. But nothing worked.So to make a long story short, I'm left with a top that's not what I paid for. I will never send anyone else to them and will never use them again. read more

We purchased granite for our kitchen twice in the past twelve years. The first time we were very happy. The second time has turned into a nightmare. Several months ago I noticed a horizontal crack between our sink and dishwasher. Upon further inspection I noticed a saw cut on the underside of the granite which aligned perfectly with the crack. When I contacted the company they said that they would not do anything about the crack since we had purchased the granite a few years ago. They would not even come and look at it without charging us. They also said that the saw mark was supposed to be there to reinforce that section of the counter. Even if that saw line is supposed to reinforce that area, there was an error in the fabrication because there is no reason my counter should be cracked. As time passes the crack worsened because it is in an area where it gets a lot of water and heat. To add insult to injury, the company never returned my call about possibly repairing the crack, and other granite companies will not make repairs to granite they have not installed. Do not use this company. They do not stand behind their work. I am certain they made a mistake in the fabrication of my counters and they do not care. The crack aligning perfectly with their saw make on the underside of the counter could not be coincidental. Btw, my first counters did not have the saw mark. read more
