BEWARE (I'm posting because they never resolved my complaint)...I would like to note first that the experience with Classic Harley Davidson in Leesport, PA has been very disappointing, trying, and upsetting. Unfortunately I trusted them to complete a specialty build, thinking that an established dealership would be able to handle what was asked of them. I spent a large sum of money on a motorcycle that was in the service department more than it had seen the road. For a rider it is extremely disheartening. Initially when the motorcycle was in the shop it was there for almost a year if not longer. At that time (2020/2021) there was a different service who seemed to be dropping the ball numerous times with ordering parts or following up with companies. My first complaint email was sent 5/14/2021 regarding the amount of time that my motorcycle was sitting idle and money being spent (regarding the motor, throttle body and air cleaner). At this time Kevin Kodz reached out to me stating that everything that can be done was and that it was a specialty build - that 'things take a bit longer'. We went back and forth a few times regarding what was going on. At this time Classic told me that the engine was received on Monday April 26 and the throttle body was ordered on Wednesday April 28th. I knew this was a "LIE" due to the technician (Bubba) that was working on my motorcycle sent me a photo of the motor sitting in the bike mid March. Also in March I reached out and was told that the motor along with the oil cooler and pipe were being put in (told by service manager). So, that was a month of the motorcycle sitting idle again. The communication between Kevin and the service department was all off. The motorcycle was picked up by the end of June 2021 I rode it until the weather changed (living in Pennsylvania). I thought it was great. Well fast forward to May 2022, I took the motorcycle back to Classic to replace my front & back tire, along with replacing the steering neck bearings . When they had my motorcycle they noted an update happened on the Thundermax ECM unit. Well this is when s*** hit the fan. After riding a handful of times the motorcycle wouldn't start when I stopped for gas one day. As if there was a fuel pump issue. I was stranded. Nobody was available to pick me up. I had it towed to a local trusted shop to see if the fuel pump was the issue. Nope... it was the ECM that was suggested to me when the build originally happened. I reached out to Classic since the local shop was unable to really do anything for me and suggested I take it back to who originally did the build. I went months without riding. Finally Classic was able to pick up my motorcycle in September 2022 (spoke with new service manager Mike stating the motorcycle would be priority) it sat for a bit until they could get in it. There was communication which I appreciated. Fast forward to parts being ordered and a new bill again which was paid in full. My motorcycle was finally coming home on 10/31/2022. I was so excited since this was a horror show from the beginning. I had it delivered to my mothers since it's closer to the interstate trying to be kind. I got there and was so disappointed my bike was delivered damaged (I have photos of everything that was wrong). The kicker was the bike was delivered with little to no gas, which went down with a full tank and was dirty as hell. The new rear tire was destroyed. I understand because of the dyno but have some consideration for a customer that has been loyal even after a bad experience. I had Classic come back to pick up the motorcycle to correct, and fault was acknowledged on Classic's end. My motorcycle was delivered today 11/10/2022 which I'm thankful for and that certain things were corrected. I'm asking Classic to step up and consider refunding me on two things: First the ECM unit (Thundermax) that was part of the engine package I paid for. Please note, I didn't receive this part back either from Classic when the new ECM was replaced on 10/14/22. So I don't even have the part I paid for. read more

My wife and I went to Classic to buy some Harley clothes for my wife which she did and also ended up buying a 2020 Performance Orange Street Glide. Jeremy came up to my wife and I as we were admiring the beautiful bike in the showroom. We have purchased numerous bikes from Classic and always had a great experience. We started talking about the bikes I have and I said just for giggles and kicks let's do a site un-seen appraisal on our 2018 Softail. I had no intention of buying a bike due to the fact I love the Softail and we also on the 2020 Sandune CVO. Alan and Jeremy came back with deal I was amazed with. I had another dealer give another offer 2 months prior that was not even close to what Classic gave us. Frank in finance was fantastic and had the paper work signed that Sunday and delivered the bike Monday 12/21/2020 by Mike who is kind and right on time. Once again they exceeded expectations. Alan you run a great dealership! Jeremy you have a world of product knowledge on bikes and muscle cars. Your personality is attentive and answers questions specific and a very hands on sales rep that is sincerely caring of customer concerns and needs. The experience of Classic starts as soon as you turn in the drive with well manicured property, clean and organized sales, service, parts and clothing depts. The staff just completes the package. I've known the people from Classic H-D since 2011 as I would travel in the area for business. I stayed in touch with them over the years and when I was looking for a unique Harley that is not built any longer, reached out to them to find me one. Kevin (the owner) shot me a note saying that he found one for me and if I wanted it that he would save it for me. I flew out and rode it home over 800 miles. They even picked me up at the airport.
