James, gave a brief description on how to operate the Segway and asked for a volunteer...luckily a brave teenager stepped up to the plate and within a minute he was riding around on his own. I felt the fear slowly subside as one by one the others in the group stepped on their Segways and were riding around. It was my turn to step on...I thought my heart was going to beat right out of my chest as the adrenaline was pumping through my system. James was very reassuring and said he wouldn't let go until I was ready. To my surprise, it was very stable, super easy to maneuver and within minutes the entire group (including myself) were pros and we were on our way. The tour was great, lots of information and yes a healthy dose of lame jokes (reminds me of the jungle cruise at Disneyland...I wouldn't change a thing). I'm definitely booking the La Jolla tour next. Totally worth trying and you might even conquer a fear you didn't realize you had.

I found We Love Tourists on Yelp and am so glad I chose to do the Segway tour with them! We had a blast! It was a lot more fun than we expected. We knew we'd look like dorks with helmets on and doing a tour, but really, it was a ton of fun trying to go as fast as we could on the Segways, learning about the city, and even interacting with passersby. We took the San Diego City Loop tour which covers about 12 miles in 2 hours. The tour starts downtown and we made our way up to Balboa Park through Little Italy to the Harbor and back into downtown. After about an hour, we took a break, which was much needed. Even though we're just standing on a Segway the whole time, they are constantly in motion, so you have to make sure that your weight is centered if you don't want to move forward or backward. Our feet hurt the most after the tour, so make sure to wear very comfy shoes with support (tennis shoes). It didn't take long to get used to being on a Segway; after our tour as we were walking to the car, we commented on how much it sucks to walk now compared to being on a Segway! Our tour guide, Bridgette, was awesome. She was very friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and easy going. Bridgette did a great job in teaching us and we all caught on to how to operate the Segway very quickly. She gave us some tips and even encouraged us to go as fast as we wanted (where it was safe). We did stop at some spots and she gave us info on the buildings and the city. Being a native San Diegan, I actually learned some new things! Since we were focused on team building, I think it was just the right amount of information and allowed us to really move and have fun on the Segways. She didn't have any problems with taking photos for us and also gave us some great happy hour spots to go to after our tour. I would definitely recommend taking a tour with Bridgette! Booking the tour was very easy as well. I sent a text message (as their website suggests) and I got a text response very quickly. We corresponded via text initially, which is what I preferred, so it worked out great for me. I then spoke with Chris, tour booking manager, the week of our tour to confirm everything and received an email confirmation with the details. I got an awesome deal for our tour, just check their website for current deals or ask. I think if I ever do a tour of any city, going by Segway is the way to go! I would definitely recommend We Love Tourists for their Segway tours. You'll have a lot of fun!

Our group of 6 did an early bird special with a 2 hour tour . It was such a great idea .the early…read morebird special was well worth it . 1 hr wouldn't have been enough time to truly see the sights . I thought the demonstration was overwhelming and I would I loved some time to practice before getting out there . But my husband drove so that made it a non issue . The workers were kind , helpful and fun even took our photos. I would recommend if you run cold , wear sunglasses . put a blanket on your lap, wear a jacket and my husband would recommend wearing gloves when driving .There was a missing cup holder in our car so we needed to stuff our water near the back. There is a trunk which was nice and you can unplug the cars gps if you want to stop and walk around but our gps had a hard time reconnecting but when we called they were able to walk us through . The gps was a little delayed sometimes . But those cookies that were listed on the route from uncle Bill's killer cookies was amazing . Mine were fresher from the oven so would def recommend them.

It went through inspections and everything. They moved us from gate B13 to gate D37 without notifying us. We arrived at our new exit at 4:55 pm and the plane wasn't even at that exit. The Volaris representative kept looking at her phone before helping us, along with at least 6 other passengers, all with different situations, and they didn't do anything to provide us with a solution. In the end, we were stuck. They gave us a flight the next day, but it cost $4,100 pesos .And right now they've scheduled me for 4:00 a.m., and my new flight leaves at 7:01 a.m., and we still don't have a gate. Terrible service.

I chose San Diego Walking Food Tour and Ferry to Coranado Island in celebration of my bestie birthday it's a 3 hour tour. Maria was our tour guide, she took good care of us and she was so down to earth which made our tour experience awesome. Maria is very informative about San Diego and the surrounding Islands. We also had Carlesha from Atlanta on our tour. The first stop on our food tour was The Fish Market. We had two appetizers ginger lime shrimp over a sweet and spicy cabage and we had spinach, crab meat dip. We enjoyed our margaritas. We took our first ferry over to Coronado Island. You will fall in love with Coranado Island. We dined at Spiros Mediterranean Cuisine we had grill salmon over Greek salad with buttery soft pita bread and rice. We also had a new appetizer from their menu shaved lamb on pita bread it was so flavorful and very filling. We took the ferry from Coranado Island back to Seaport Village. This was the walking part of our tour. The third restaurant was Crack Taco Shop I ordered the pork al pastor taco. It was an explosion in my mouth. It's as close to crack I will get. The last stop on our food tour was dessert of course at Seaport Fudge Factory. I tried their Vegan soft serve peach. It was the most refreshing dessert especially if your lactose tolerant and it comes in many flavors. The two young ladies were Autumn and Lauren. They were helpful with us deciding on our dessert. I'm warning you don't eat before this tour. Seaport Village has several good restaurants don't forget to check out Miss and Match Boutique. I can't wait to visit San Diego CA again. At first when I went to Africa, I thought I want to see the animals and we saw the big 5+ so much more.
