This place could be a gem! However, it was filthy. So many things, unfortunately. *The washer and dryer were sure to be a fire hazard with all the lint we pulled out. *We spilled some water on the floor and wiped it up with a paper towel -- it was black! *The dishes were chipped; and check out the oven mitts. *Pillows, blankets, sheets were just tossed into closets -- they looked and smelled dirty. Plus there weren't dressers, so we couldn't even rely on the closets to store clothes. *There were crumbs in all the kitchen drawers. *There was pet hair everywhere -- including on the counters and on appliances. *The bathroom rugs looked like they hadn't been washed for years. Again, so unfortunate! Cute place in a great location. We did contact Amy -- she said they had hired a new cleaning service and she would let them know. But by the looks of things, it's been a while since this place had a thorough cleaning. read more

Flawless. This is the one! After a long search of the Northern AZ VRBOs for a 4 night stay for 9, we found ClassyCabinsAZ and booked Bearly-A-Cabin for Thanksgiving! The Cabin: Oftentimes something looks better on the Internet than reality, however this was not the case with Bearly-A-Cabin. We drove in from Monument Valley on Wednesday evening and were absolutely floored. You think it looks fantastic in the pictures? It's better! The cabin was absolutely spotless floor to ceiling, and is literally a *complete* home. How complete? We prepared Thanksgiving dinner for 9 here. What did we need to bring to prepare it? Just the food. Everything else was here - baking pans, settings, dishes for numerous sides, cutlery, and every other item needed. Giant dining room table, solid wood and awesome. It isn't like a hotel room or suite - it's a fully operational HOME with literally everything you have in your own and more. Just show up with groceries and you're set for anything. The cabin layout is amazing - very large great room with a sofa at least 2x large as your own, fully stocked kitchen as mentioned above, tons of sleeping options with the 2 king bedrooms ( beds are awesome ) and the 2 bunk rooms + the loft, game room with pool table, decks on both sides of the house and an ACRE of land for hanging out and playing with your kids. The property lines are well marked with rows of large rocks so you know where "your" land is! Being outside on the property was serene - clean air, quiet, relaxing! The Area: This is your home base. We did Grand Canyon, Williams for the Polar Express, Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater, and Sedona. Nothing is further than 60 miles. Very ideal location if you want to hit the National Parks and Monuments. We left during the first snow on Sunday morning, I bet the place is even more fun with some snow cover! They have sleds and snow toys in a deck box in the front. We joked that even if we just stayed at the cabin and went nowhere it would have been awesome. You just want to be in it, it is so well done and decorated. If you group is large, don't fret - the cabin is plenty large! From initial contact through the end of our stay the process was smooth and painless. Excellent communication from our hosts Amy and Steve throughout! Very quick replies to my many questions prior to booking, as well as after all monies were transferred. The excellent service did not stop with payment in full. So glad we found and booked this - we will be back. read more

The Classy Cabins woman I spoke to over the phone was quite rude and unhelpful when I tried to book an available cabin for my family to enjoy the Northwoods experience for a night. She confirmed the cabin was in fact available, but refused to rent it for the only night available unless I agreed to pay double, staying for one night but paying for two!! Had any cabins been available for two night rentals, I would certainly have selected this option. I would not recommend Classy Cabins AZ!! read more

I was very disappointed after reading several reviews that said how clean this place was. On the surface it looked ok but there were many areas that hadn't been cleaned for a long time and what was cleaned was not done very well. The bedroom closet was stuffed with dirty blankets and was in disarray,animal hair everywhere . Judging by the lack of cleanliness not sure if the blankets and sheets on beds were clean either. Chipped dishes,very poor WiFi,crumbs and grime in utensil draws,dryer lint vent was completely engrossed with lint build up,and left over opened food products ( who would eat someone's left overs,that you don't know? My family has stayed in Classy Cabins amazing homes for the past 3 years. This summer, we were able to stay in their newest addition, The Owls Nest. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL place!! Amy and Steve went above and beyond building and decorating that cabin. It's like a luxury "farmhouse" From the floors to the ceilings, to the hardware to the high thread count sheets, The Owls Nest is absolutely incredible. I cannot say enough the pristine detail they put into this home. Definitely magazine worthy!! We absolutely loved it and plan to return very soon! All their cabins are beautifully done! We can not say enough good things about Classy Cabins! We were in need of a place to "Quasi- Quarantine" and get out of the Phoenix heat. We specifically look for places where we can take Coconut, our pooch. Since taking her to Sedona and Disneyland with us, we found that she makes our vacations even better. We stayed from July 20-24 in Moose Manor, and were delighted with absolutely everything! The decor is adorable and fun. The carpets were a favorite of the dog, who only has hard floors at home. The wood floors are beautiful. We brought as much as possible so we wouldn't have to shop in Safeway because we feel during this time delivery is a safer choice for groceries. While cooking the first night, I found I needed a ziplock bag or plastic wrap, and ta-da! Moose Manor had plastic wrap in the drawer! While we brought our own spices, napkins, and oodles of paper towels and cleaning supplies, the Moose had what we needed or could supply what we forgot. It was better than ANY full-service hotel or resort at which we've ever had the pleasure of staying. When my daughter first plopped down on the bed, she said it was SO comfortable. My husband said the downstairs bed felt like our "cloud" bed back in North Phoenix. Shaun said the loft beds were so comfortable! We grilled outside with the propane Weber and enjoyed watching the rain while sitting on the porch. We played board games every night and even brought some games that were already at Moose Manor like Yahtzee! My son and I watched the first Maze Runner at home shortly before arriving at Moose Manor, and much to our delight, the trilogy was supplied at the cabin! We watched the other two Maze Runners, our downloaded copy of Clue after playing the game we brought, and gladly left the tv off the remainder of the stay. Our family walked in the neighborhood, swung on the swings, ran around the forest, and went on day trips. We visited The Grand Canyon for the first time as a whole family (despite both of our children being native Arizonans, we drag them to Missouri, California, and Hawaii more often than explore our beautiful home state), drove through Bearizona, saw the Meteor Crater, rode the Zipline in Williams, and ate outdoors with social distancing at Cruisers Cafe. This was the first time we've dined out as a family since March 15 due to COVID. We will say, with absolute certainty, that we will be planning another visit with Classy Cabins again soon, and we will also attest that the only thing we missed from home was high-speed wifi for WebEx meetings and streaming services. These were easy fixes--we just entertained ourselves with games, food, walks, and movies, and I dialed into my school meetings from my cell. Don't let that small nugget of information deter your family from one of the greatest, most memorable, getaways you'll ever experience. I'd venture to guess, like us, you'll feel a sense of freedom from all the noise and busy-ness. There is a lovely stone fireplace, stunning custom furniture, and one piece of the decor that stopped our team in our tracks and solidified that we had picked the right place. On the wall is a cross that says, "For we walk by faith, not by sight." We were speechless. At our home, when we descend our stairs, 2 Corinthians 5:7 is also on our wall to remind us to Walk By Faith. We are Christians, and this made us feel at home, as if we were staying with family. read more

The Owl's Nest is perfection! The cabin is the perfect space for a weekend getaway. The couch is big enough for a large crowd and by far the softest thing I have ever touched. This was our first stay at the newest cabin, The Owl's Nest. As soon as you walk in the front door, it is an amazing experience. The high ceilings, the beautiful floors, the spacious open concept and beautiful kitchen -- need I say more? We loved everything about it. When you say "classy" this was above my expectations. The furniture and decor are like something on HGTV. The king-size bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms had everything you would need. for your short or long stay.
