We stayed in Cabin 6 which boasts a lovely deck and magical mountain views. There is a bed upstairs in the loft, and a bedroom downstairs. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a good meal. I brought my own cast iron skillet and cooking gear packed in my camping supplies but ended up using what was in the cabin kitchen and it was perfect! No tv so you get to truly unwind, and enjoy the mountain air and cabin beauty. Loved it so much going back next month.

There's even a little changing room area, and they provide cold drinks and electrolytes. Right outside the sauna is a cold plunge shower, along with a fire pit, which made the whole experience feel so relaxing and unique. You can also use the pool and hot tub while you're there. Such a fun experience and a great way to relax and unwind. I definitely recommend checking this out if you're in Flagstaff!

This is the first time I've been compelled to leave a 2 star review. It felt like nearly everything…read morefrom booking to our New Year's Eve dinner was less than desirable and seemingly could have been avoidable. I called countless times to inquire on booking reservations because the website wasn't working properly. I left messages requesting call backs. I spoke to staff (I spoke to Sam at least twice) asking for call backs from management to clarify what action to take for booking. I called after booking reservations to confirm the booking because something was still wrong with my email confirmations. I asked for call backs after speaking to another person and never got a call back. We walked in to speak to someone about our booking and left a message (with Sam again) and never got a call back. I called again a day before our booking and was able to speak to someone about our booking which still needed to be corrected and I could only hope we finally had everything squared away. We checked in at the Weatherford hotel prior to our booking to inquire how early we should return to check in for our dinner reservations and were told 10 minutes early because we would lose our reservation if we were more than 10 minutes late. We checked in and ended up waiting about 40 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated we waited a long time just to get water. The place cards we were given were mixed up even though I had gone over those details a day ahead of our reservation. At least whatever we preordered was correct. We were told that one of the appetizers was completely out and the wine we ordered also was sold out. We felt like that shouldn't have been an issue if we had been seated at the appropriate time. Another table was seated while we were waiting to get our appetizers and they got their water (with lemon) in no time and their appetizers came out in no time. Our main dishes came out and at least two of the dishes were barely even warm and the polenta was completely cold throughout. Although the dishes were tasty they shouldn't have been cold. We communicated our disappointment with our cold meals but were only provided apologies. We were extremely disappointed and don't understand how our overall experience could begin to quantify the pricey dinner. Considering all of the attempts I made to get assistance with our dinner reservation I cannot wrap my head around what happened. I don't know if there was anything else we could have done differently to improve our experience. We recognize that our waitress was doing her best and appreciated her efforts. She seemed a little overwhelmed. She wasn't doing a terrible job but she could have used some assistance. I spoke to Sam on the phone twice and in person twice relaying messages to him three times requesting a call back regarding my reservation but no one ever called. I also saw Sam working in the restaurant helping to clear tables. I don't think Sam was the problem. I even spoke to Sam after dinner and told him we were not very impressed with our cold meals. He was apologetic for the bad experience but it wasn't his fault. I don't think he was in a position to remedy anything for us. We wanted so badly to enjoy a wonderful New Year's Eve but unfortunately left our meal much later than expected with a less than stellar experience than we had hoped for. We also had to cancel and rebook our prearranged ride service due to our late departure. I honestly don't like leaving bad reviews. I can only hope that everything we experienced was a result of poor communication coupled with problematic technical reservation and email confirmation system issues. If management wants more specific feedback, I would welcome an opportunity to communicate with them further.

Flagstaff is a small town, to begin with, and this was the only hostel I found within the city. It…read moreis really popular so book in advance, one of the nights I wanted to stay was sold out and had to camp at a campground and it was super cold that night. Parking is allowed behind the apartment complex that's located next to the hostel. Street parking is also available free on a first come first serve basis. Free wi-fi is available here too. There are plenty of local restaurants in the area that the hostel is located in, also a short walk away is 'historic downtown'. A few blocks north is historic route 66 along with the visitors center located inside the Amtrack train station. You can find souvenirs inside the visitors center and if you walk further up the way there are more stores selling camping gear, outdoor weather clothes and souvenirs as well. The Staff was nice and always stayed busy cleaning and taking care of the place. They did give me some good recommendations for places to eat while staying in Flagstaff. Now the building itself was pretty cool. Judging by the hardware on the doors it was updated back in the 80[s but the architecture on the inside tells the store of when the building was built back to maybe the early 1900s (but that's just my guess and probably not accurate). Either way, I loved how they kept as much of the original features of the building as possible while keeping it functional. I stayed in a female-only dorm during my stay with them. The room I was staying in was a 4-bed female room with its own personal sink and its own minifridge, it also came with a fan in case you get to hot (or need moving air as I do). Even though it had room for 4 females it was only me and this other girl staying in the room for the day. She was on a 4-month' road trip' across the southwest/west coast of the USA. She was originally from England visiting the US for the first time and I loved listening to all the cool places she visited since landing in Seatle making her way down the coast and reaching Flagstaff where she took a rafting tour of the colorado river that rungs through the grand canyon. Some people I was talking to during breakfast were visiting from all over the country and of course, I ran into some people who lived in Plano, Dallas and other parts of the great state of Texas. Super cool people that bunch. They do have a full kitchen so you can use the stove, microwave, etc. Washer and dryers are available just bring quarters and detergent, towels are free just request one from the front desk. Breakfast was your choice of coffee or tea along with oatmeal and some fresh fruit. They have an upstairs with a nice sitting area and another full kitchen and 2 more full bathrooms upstairs so no shortage of bathrooms! Downstairs they have the sitting room and they also have a tv room and pass that they have a small office area with a computer where I assume guests are allowed to use. At the front desk, they have info on tours in the area along with a bulletin board with other useful information in the area. If you play pokemon go there is a pokestop on site haha! I loved this place and it worked for what I needed while staying in the area. If given the chance I would stay here again.

Public transportation (bus)- Mountain Line (https://mountainline.az.gov/) 5-minute walk. B4 you go, totally do your research. It does get hottttt. They have some good bars with live music. We cooked allot in the condo and everything was perfect for what we needed. We had a one bedroom condo with a sleeper for our 16yr old daughter. Sharing bathroom was a challenge and next time I will get a two bedroom Where we stayed was perfect distance to everything and we did alllottt of sightseeing since it was our first time here on the western side of US. I would recommend that the adjoining door the opens to out condo if needed needs some kind of noise barrier. We could hear kids playing right on other side, plus people talking very clearly. Thus, don't sign up for a timeshare unless you know you really really want it as they can be useful if you're looking for something specific (ex: doing a yearly trip at the same timeframe) This business in particular tricks you by not telling you about the exorbitant maintenance fees you have to pay every single year. You get credits every single year and those credits don't carry over. However, what you get is a really high quality resort here. It has so many amenities that you could literally spend a whole day using the resort facilities instead of going out in town. They have a big clubhouse and a small clubhouse. Their public amenities include outdoor swimming pools, outdoor jacuzzi, half basketball court, golf range, golf course, library, business center, restaurant, tennis court, pickleball, small fitness area, billards, a cafe/dessert bar. The swimming pools are closed during the winter which makes me wonder why they weren't indoor pools so that they can be open year round. They've got plenty of tea, coffee, and cider in the main office building too. There's just so much to do here. What's amazing about this place is that each place is its own separate home. This pretty much ensures you'll get peace and quiet during your sleep since you don't share a wall with any other neighbors. The place is decked out to be like an extended stay: there's multiple TV's, a washer and dryer, multiple tables and couches, a full set of kitchenware from blenders, coffee makers, cooking pots, oven, microwave, and more. What's amazing to me was their outdoor hot tub which is fantastic. You get your own personal parking space in front of the cabin as well. The whole area is clean and well kept. Overall, it's a pretty amazing resort. It's a darn shame that it's locked behind scummy timeshare practices. It'd be way better if you could just book these like a normal hotel stay.

The lights don't reach the shower so we had to use a flashlight or shower during the day. There's so many unidentified stains everywhere. The beds were noisy and uncomfortable. I really tried to get accustomed to this place with the "it is what it is" mentality; I grew up in a run down apartment but this was worse. The breakfast is the standard hotel breakfast, but the set up is great, with different types of food in different areas, which prevents the big mob of guests in ones area trying to get breakfast. There are also plenty of tables. You can even take your breakfast out and eat poolside. We booked an accessible room, and the bathroom was huge. The room was also very bright and clean and comfy. It had something great that you funny normally find in a hotel room--a recliner! The bed was comfy, and there were extra pillows in the bed. This is a pet friendly hotel and we saw many dogs. They even have jars with milk bones on the check in counters. Even with all the powers, this hotel was super clean and very quiet. This is our new Flagstaff hotel.
