I'm officially going to SDIY ( Stop doing it yourself) when it comes to cutting my dogs nails! This tasks takes me so long and causes so much stress for both me and my dog. For $15 they do nail trimming and filing- such a low price to pay for how much stress they are taking off my plate! It was so fast and my dog was so happy after. He's never happy after I clip his nails myself. It's so much shorter and smoother than I was ever to do myself. She said that her mom opened up this business 20 years ago (sorry, I forgot to catch her name!) Next time we're also going to do a teeth brushing and maybe a paw shave too. Parking: Parking is a breeze, with a small lot right outside that always seems to have a spot open. None of that circling the block drama that would have even the chillest dog parent channeling their inner Karen. Just be sure to obey the one-way traffic in that private retail area. My husband was out of town and the vet said we should bathe my dog more due to her tree/dust allergies. Instead of doing it myself or bombarding him with chores when he returned, I found Classy Clippin'! The girl who answered the phone was so friendly and helpful. I have a terrier mutt, so I'm not used to taking her to a groomer. When I dropped my dog off, I was a little confused. I expected the same sort of explanation, but the woman who took her was very busy and might have been the only one there. She wasn't not-friendly, just seemed rushed to take the dog and told me to write my name and number down as she walked away and that was it. They are definitely a mom and pop, hole in the wall place, which I love supporting! But would be great if they had a website, or at least a service list. I'd love to know a bit more about what they offer. For my fellow yelpers: my dog is about 40lbs and it was less than $40 for a bath, nail clippings, ear cleaning and anal glands. She said they can clean teeth and do a couple other things for more, but unclear of exactly what those are and how much. My dog came back smelling and looking great! We have been moving around, we have an infant and are expecting baby #2 so things have been crazy and unfortunately grooming the dog took a backseat. We were bringing both our dogs here until one of them passed. Now only our little Yorkie comes in for a wash one month and then a cut the next month. If you have big dogs, best take them to another place. First visit was fine. Our second and last visit they are no longer going to take our two golden retrievers because they are "too big and strong." Weird as they are 5 & 6 years old and have been to several groomers between the mainland and here and have never had this experience with a groomer. Something tells me something else is going on there for them to be too much. I had surgery on my hand & couldn't bathe my dog for a couple of weeks. He's a Pomeranian-Corgi rescue mix. Never met the owner, but her daughter was very friendly at the front desk. Asked how long it would take and she asked that we give them 3-4 hours. That was fine with me; I received a call that he'd be done in 15 minutes after being there for 3 hours (literally a doggie spa treatment it seems!). I picked him up and he's never looked so fluffy no matter how much I brushed him. He was beautiful & smelling so good! His paws were done immaculately! Maybe I will never wash my own dog again! My Coco has been coming here for years now to get his hair cut. Whenever I call to make an appointment, the person who answers is always pleasant and polite. If there isn't an opening as soon as I liked, they would ask for my preferred days and call as soon as there is an opening. I like how over the years the price has barely changed, as well as the quality of their work. Coco's haircuts come out to my desired length every time and very even as well. I am a brutally honest person whether it's something good or bad...so here goes my experience... They aren't the friendliest people and for some reason don't always cut my dogs fur the way I want them too...but when it is done the way I want it, it looks great. I love supporting local and brought my dogs here twice. This pet grooming salon seems pretty busy because of it's location and I've learned to call a week in advance for my dog's haircut. I've always been satisfied with the haircut, never too short or choppy. They put bows on your pet which I love because they look so cute after. They also have a selection of dog treats and dog food for purchase. My only complaint is when my dogs come out they seem exhausted and always panting hard, as if they weren't given water. Not sure if they are given water or my dogs don't want to drink it, but that worries me. I've recently tried another pet groomer where they display the dogs getting groomed. I just feel more safe leaving my dog there knowing the groomers are put on the spot and customers and see their dog. read more

She is was very scared at first but the staff are awesome and made her feel comfortable. They are always flexible as to when my husband decides to"drop in" with Lea. I've had my dog for about a year already and I've been taking him to Classy Clippin' ever since - four times now. I gotta say that I LOVE this place and so does my doggy! My dog always comes home looking great, smelling fresh, and wagging his tail. The groomers dress him with some kind of accessory when I pick him up - he's gotten a few festive ribbons to match the upcoming holiday and a couple of bandanas that he loves sporting. One time I dropped him off and they called a little later about the knots in his hair to see if I wanted them to brush it out (at a charge and would probably hurt a bit) or to shave under it close to the skin. I appreciate that they called for my input before working on him instead of being surprised with an extra fee when I picked him up. That being said, I think the staff could be a little more friendly. They seem to be in a rush at times and aren't really the talkative type. A puppy cut runs just under $60 for my maltzu. I've seen other places for less, but Classy Clippin is in a convenient location and I'm always impressed by their work. They can get pretty busy; I once had to wait more than three weeks for an opening. On the other hand people do cancel and another time I had to wait just until the end of the week. It just depends on what's available when you call. The shop also carries a few toys, clothes, treats and food for your pet. I really can't say much else, but if my Taiyo comes home happy so do I! read more

They've done beautiful haircuts and blowouts on my dog. HOWEVER, the last 2 times I've brought him here, he constantly licks his paws and they are all red, because they cut extremely close on the pads. He also had a small scabby spot by his bum where they cut him. The most recent visit, he looked like I was betraying him and so sad when I brought him inside! He's usually happy to go places. We have been loyal customers for 11 years now. Our two dogs have been coming here from puppy days til now. We literally live five minutes away from Petco but will drive the extra distance to have our dogs groomed here. The prices have remained reasonable, we buy the dog food/snacks, and grooming products from here as well. Customer service has always been on point. Petco requires shot records & getting an appointment is a hassle. I'd rather support local business and get the personalized service and aloha from Classy Clipping' any day over big box stores. Classy Cippin' is pretty close to my house, so when my fiancee and I first bought our pup, we decided to take him there to get his first haircut. His hair was super, super long that he looked like a miniature sheepdog. Not having any experience in dog grooming, we had no idea what kind of cut we wanted, so the groomer suggested a puppy cut. We said okay and left him for a few hours. When we returned, he looked like a completely different dog! His hair was super short and we could actually see his eyes! I was extremely happy with the cut. We've been going to them ever since. I like how they attach a little bow to his collar after the grooming. They're also running a promotion where they offer a free upgrade, including teeth brushing, facial, and some other stuff, with every fourth grooming.
