If I could give a zero I would. This place is filthy and the nail polishes are dried and old. I requested a pedicure with 2 of my friends and it literally took 20 minutes if that. The tools did not appear to have been sanitized, each technician rushed through, one of us had to ask them to redo a toenail after the technicians sweater messed up the polish. Once they finished they walked off and started working on other people, didn't help us put flip flops on. My biggest concern is how dirty this establishment is and the fact that it appears they don't run their tools through a sanitizer with sealed bags. Would not recommend!! read more

I went old school with the white tips and I am super pleased! Anna is always amazing with my waxing. She knows me so well, I don't even need to tell her how I want my brows. Pretty irritated with the service. I called to make an appointment and asked if they had time to do my nails. She said yes, I made the appointment, then showed up at the correct time. My appointment was at 5:00. When I arrived, she told me it was busy and that I needed to wait another fifteen minutes. I was fine with it. A half an hour later she tells me to go sit and put my feet in water while she finishes up. I go over, already annoyed...the water is cold lol. So, I'm sitting in a chair with my feet out of the water for another ten minutes. It is now 5:40 and no one has started on my nails. I just don't understand what the point of an appointment is if they don't take you at that time. Anyway, they start on my toes and I ask them to not massage me because I need to get my nails done and I don't have time. I ask how long it will take to take off my acrylics. They made it seem like an inconvenience that I asked. She told me "why didn't you tell me earlier?" So I'm thinking like...what?!?! You mean...when no one was talking to me???! Anyway, back to my toes. I ask her to just paint them and forget about the massaging and lotion because I was running out of time. She paints them then puts my sandals on me immediately while they are still wet. Of course, they get ruined. When it's time for my nails she is ripping the old acrylic off so aggressively that my nail beds are chipped, broken, and thin. I pull back and say "please just soak them off." She gets upset with me. Anyway, I don't let her paint or do anything with my nails because I don't have time. So I get to the front and she charged me full price for the half pedicure and nail removal. I explained to her that I waited 40 minutes for a toe painting and so she decided to give me five dollars off I just am speechless. I still tipped her because I don't have it in me to not tip. But this was pretty awful service. I gave two stars because she made a funny joke at the end saying that I should put a mad face emoji on the Venmo payment. That made me laugh. read more

I couldn't get in to my regular salon so I went here. I had a full set put on. I thought they were too long but she said just try it out. Well I should have pressed the issue because they were way to long. I slammed my nail off closing my trunk. I went back to have them removed and had a mani . After getting home I realized that they did not fully take the nails off but only files them down and took off the tips. I still have pieces of acrylic chipping g off my nail bed. And they charged me 31 bucks for a mani and removal that they didn't remove. Damaged my nails! I won't go back! read more

WHERE DO I EVEN START ??? We are visiting from OK, and my mom was 3 weeks overdue (due to unforeseen circumstances) so we came here to get dipping powder on her nails. The salon does not sanitize tools before taking the next client. I watched this lady use the same cuticle cutters on two different people without cleaning them. they also do not sanitize chairs/stations between clients either, the only thing I saw them clean were the pedicure foot tubs. Not only do they falsely advertise as having dip (they used gel nail polish base and dip powder and cured with gel polish to coat), the nail tech that sits at station one BUTCHERED her nails. There was acrylic all over her cuticles and the skin around her fingernails, they cut her multiple times from being careless with the coarse file and dremel tool, and her skill level was very poor. The lady that sits at station 3 fixed my moms nails, but because the work was so poorly done, she even cut my mom several times trying to clean up the previous nail tech's work. My mom left with several cuts and burns on her skin that were SO red and irritated. I wish we had taken pictures of how awful the work was. I would give zero stars if there was an option. No one apologized for the horrible work or the pain that was done or the time we had to waste for someone to fix her nails. AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

I love this place SAM is great hes very patient and takes time prepping ur nails and making sure they look PERFECT! He's been great and this is my 4th time getting them done at this place the last three times have been with SAM. I used to get my nails done at some other place in Jackson (wont name it) and they would charge like $70 for a full set and they would be falling off before the two week appt. It was ridiculous this place doesn't look like much from the outside but I love the quality of service and I would much rather have that then fancy chairs in the lobby area etc. Its truely a diamond in the rough for amador county! read more

We called and made an appointment today for 4:30pm. We came in at 4:25pm, told them we had a 4:30pm appointment, than we sat down in the waiting area (since the staff was busy working on 4 other clients). We waited for 20 minutes without being acknowledged by the staff (they were completely ignoring us)...we finally had to get up and leave because they weren't telling us how much longer it would be until they could do our nails. This place is filled with friendly workers that do an excellent job. It gets pretty busy closer to closing so having an appointment is highly recommended. Family owned they happily joke around with each other and customers. They make you feel like family too. As regular customers come in they greet them by name and provide quick service. Ladies if you plan on going to the Jackson buffet this is great place to kill time. Friendly service, great product, and definitely a place to go to again. The ONLY reason that there is one star here is because Yelp makes you give at least one. But trust, definitely not worthy of even one meager star. My SIL came here on a random Thursday afternoon. We should have left once we saw the cross-section of clientele - they ranged from sketchy looking to straight outta the meth lab. We were quickly seated and pedicures started. The actual work that was done went from mediocre to just plain bad. The massage and exfoliation was OK, but the polish was really bad. And when we were done, we realized that there were actually different pedicure options, we just not offered any of them. We were both given pedicures by men, which is certainly not a problem usually, but I don't think these guys should be doing pedicures. Skip it and find some place else, seriously. read more

Okay- if you all knew me, I always have something nice to say even when I'm not happy but this is just on a whole other level- It's been a few years since I've been back here and I used to love this place but, my last experience wasn't the best- I went in for an acrylic fill- easy enough, yeah well apparently not. It took him 20 min too basically paint one layer on and call it a day. Plus he didn't talk to me once or ask me what I wanted- when I showed him the picture of what I wanted he said okay, but obviously he didn't understand what I wanted or ask me to clarify instead he did what he wanted and this is what I got- then charged me 50 dollars for it, now I have no problem paying that much, but for this kind of result, it's just messed up. I do not have a photo for reference, it all happened too fast. I dropped my 14 yr old daughter off at this place for about an hour and a half. I came back towards the end and looked at her nails and was trying to trust the process but once the lady told my daughter she was finished I was shocked. Mind you, my daughter got pretty long nails so with that being said, they weren't shaped to be straight they almost resembled duck nails with the wideness, they left white polish on her skin, the French tip they painted on was uneven, and with as long as they were there was not enough apex to keep that nail supported like you're supposed to. I told the lady the issue and that I wasn't willing to pay for that and I got yelled at that my daughter said she loved them. My daughter did not love them, she was to afraid to say anything cause most people are. I told them to go ahead and cut them off and I would take her somewhere else. Which I did and they were done stunningly. I know some folks have bad days, some people aren't as experienced but with all the photos I've seen at this place so far I'm surprised they get any business at all. I saw a few photos of some good manicures but if you aren't well experienced in length and nail art, DONT TRY AND GET OVER ON PEOPLE, LET THEM KNOW YOU ARENT EXPERIENCED ENOUGH. First time I've been here. Walked in and walked over to pick my polish. The nail polish shelves looked dirty and the selection horrible. All the nail polish colors were not good and half empty or worse. Couldn't open some bottles to test them. Picked one and sat down. In a nutshell the nail polish was clumpy and old and the person doing my manicure went to the back and obviously did something to the polish to make it less clumpy. Looked dull and watery. Louise here. Getting the hoofs taken care of. Last place I went to in Valley Springs, you know the one, I got a serious infection. This place was recommended. BIG disappointment. Very dirty. I had a walk in appointment and expected a wait which was perfectly fine then as i was getting acrylics painted the lady did not have a uv light to dry them she stuck them on front of a fan for under a minute which was not long enough for them to fully dry and then places the clear coat on the wet paint and they smudged the night of and i made an appointment to have them fixed the morning after and they were late for my 9:30 appointment. The only reason I am giving this place one star is because zero isn't an option. I walked into Classy Nails and my experience was anything but classy. I came in to get a manicure and left 10 minutes later crying. They ripped my acrylics off and over half of my natural nails off with it. I told the woman to stop after she ruined three of my nails. Not only were they ruined, but I was in extreme pain as well. After I told her to stop, she proceeded to tell me it was my fault for not telling her I wanted them taken off a different way than what would ruin my nails. They charged me full price and screamed at me for leaving all while I was crying. Not just the woman that did my nails, but everyone working there at the time scolded me like I was to blame. I would NEVER go back there and I hope someone will see this and decide to go elsewhere. I've never had a worse nail experience than this one.
