Recently came into town to get a pedicure and was really disappointed. They didn't have many polish colors to choose from, and the pedicure felt rushed. My cuticles weren't done at all -- it basically felt like soaking my feet in water and then applying polish. Definitely not worth the $35 price tag. On top of that, they charged extra just to use a card. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return. My tip goes down a great deal when the service is dissapointing. read more

I was going on a trip and looking for a place to get a manicure and pedicure. I came across Jackson Nails and it was completely empty so I thought I was in luck! What a mistake that was. It was the most basic manicure and pedicure I have ever gotten. I had one nail that had broke so it was a lot shorter than the others. Why the heck would she cut that one too before doing my manicure? That made it even shorter than the rest. She rubbed my hands after for a total of 10 seconds? Okayyyy?? My pedicure was equally as lackluster. No customer service whatsoever. She was not even trying to be friendly. There was a guy that started doing a pedicure on a lady too and he was equally as unfriendly. $100 dollars later... it definitely was not worth it. I could've did a better job myself at home. John is who always does my nails I always generally only get a pedicure, but I went just recently and got a manicure and he did a fantastic job. The quality is by far the best ever and when I went in to get my manicure done, my coworker was there and I was late to my appointment. He had just finished up with her. He goes. Oh don't worry I got you right here after I get her in. She's all done. She's gonna go get her pedicure done take a seat and I'll be right back over with you and as he did, he finished up mine and then he asked if I wanted to go sit next to my coworker while she was getting her toes done so I went back and sat with her in the massage chair chairs and just sat and talked with her for an hour. John and everyone else who works here are always great and very attentive to your care. The Vibe they put off is wonderful and there's always something weird to watch on TV generally food related but some of that stuff on the TV. It looks pretty good. I'm not gonna lie. I came here for the first time for a dip manicure. The woman who did my nails was pretty rough. She filed my nails so hard to the point that my finger started bleeding a little bit. When I brought it to her attention, she didn't even realize she'd done that. She also smudged the dip on one finger, tried to fix it, but left the mistake so obvious. Within 2 days, my manicure started to chip, so I decided to go back and ask for a redo. The same woman started my redo and then a man took over. They even messed up the redo!! Dip wasn't done correctly and my nails are chipping again. I've been getting a dip manicure for years, and my nails have never chipped like this. The one saving grace about this place are the pedicures. I did have a nice pedicure which has held up nicely. Even so, it's safe to say I will not be returning. read more

Spa pedicure, my eyebrows waxed and my gel nails taken off. the spa pedicure and eyebrow waxing was normal and they did a really good job, I requested to have my nails soaked off and instead the woman used an acrylic nail to rip them off. I visited the salon the day before going on vacation. It was 4:30 pm, and I decided to get a pedicure. Then, I realized I must have a manicure to match my toenails, because I may not have the exact same color at home. The man was pleasant but a little rough trimming my cuticles, but I was alright with his procedures. The lady painted my nails at the same time. I wanted my toenails painted with regular nail polish, but my hands painted with gel. She finished and my hands were done after going under the dryer for quite a while. Unfortunately, my toenails did not dry that fast, although I did ask if my toenails were dry yet. The lady came out, barely touched my toenails and said I was done. I paid her and left. I walked to Big 5 and started to try on a pair of sandals. Immediately, the paint on my toenails got messed up! I came back at 5:45 pm and complained. The lady seemed really upset, cleaned off my toenails, re-painted them, then after about 2 minutes (without any dryers) shoved the toe separators and nail sandals onto my feet and told me to get out! I was really appalled at someone I have never gone to before give me such a horrible time!! I left probably close to 6:00 pm, when they close. Of course, they just lost a customer. read more

I must say I absolutely love these guys coming from the city to the mountains there is nothing here.. .. my only complaint is its pricey I have never paid $50 for a set of nails with gel polish I don't pay this for nail design in the city with gel nails. Don't get me wrong I like my nails but I'm not sure I'll be paying this price to fill when I get $25 gelled filled and designed for $5 extra we shall see. Very amazing service I like that no problem and very clean with their tools and they use bags for your pedicures some things are very affordable others hmmm? This place is TERRIBLE. I will never come here again! First off, it needs a major face lift. I did not get a sense of any cleanliness. I never saw the staff clean the pedicure tubs and sat client after client in them without sanitizing them. I took my mom with me to get pedicures, and the girl who worked on my mom used an electric file on her natural nail. I have never seen that before other than on acrylics. When the girl working on me tried to use it, I immediately stopped her and asked that she use a regular file. I got a mani/pedi and was very disappointed. The way she put the polish on my nails made my nails look grown out. I like when the polish is close to my cuticle. She also did a shotty job of cleaning my dead skin around my cuticles. read more

Mom and I went to get our nails done. Walked in and the man said to pick a color.. they had time although they looked very busy. Walked back to get in the pedi chair and was told an appointment showed up and to come back in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later we came back and was seated about 5-10 min later. They sat us together and filled the water up. Started my toes 5 minutes later and went between me and the man next to me. Kept asking me to upgrade my nails to the "deluxe" or to "add a flower" but I said no thank you. I ended up getting a flower when I wasn't paying attention and charged $5 dollars for it... I was done and one lady just started on my Mom. Half way through she went back to another lady and left her sitting there for awhile. We were there for over 1 hour. They did quality work but their organization and timing of all the clients were terrible!! I finally left to run some errands while my Mom finished up. Asked her if she wanted a flower and when she said "no thanks" the nail tech told my Mom she was "no fun." Not joking-- but in a very serious way. Took WAY too long.. we won't be back and at the end we had had it.. My Mom paid while I was putting groceries in the car. If I was in there when she was charging her $5 for the flower I said no to.. I would have spoken up ( I had even tipped her $5 before I left to finish some errands) Really unacceptable to upcharge and keep bugging us to spend more money. Was not relaxing and really unprofessional. Did not use new tools or foot scrub- not the cleanest practice either. Just rinsed the tubs in-between clients. As I watched them work in the hour I was there I was more and more concerned about their sterilization and cleaning practices. I do not recommend, next time we will drive to El Dorado Hills. read more

Terrible place. Went there to get deep powder and the guy cut my finger so bad that My finger was bleeding for 5 min. He didn't speak any English and when I asked him to give me some bandaids and alcohol he just won't understand me. The manger came over and said "sorry" very casually and finished the job herself. I was in pain the whole time she was finishing up my nails that I couldn't even sit in my seat. At the end I was expecting her to apologize again and give me a gift card or something for what they did to me but she charged me for my nails and asked me if I would like to leave a tip and when I told her this is a bad customer service, she said "OKAY,I give you 5% off" this place is just a mess and disgusting. I would NEVER EVER go back there and don't recommend it to ANYONE. It should be shut down for being worst at everything. read more

Came here to get a full set. The guy that did my nails used some type of scraping tool on my nails to remove extra acrylic. I told him it hurt & pulled my hand away. He grabbed my hand & continued to do it. I told him I didn't like my nails, they were lumpy & uneven. He still charged me $45 for my set & did not fix my nails after I asked him to. He gave me my change & said "I give you $10 & $5 for my tip & the rest $20's for you" Very rude of him to assume he was getting a tip after the horrible job he did, let alone to tell me he was expecting a $15 tip. Not only was the customer service bad but my nails started lifting & popping off after only 2 days. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I went in for their $30 Mani /!pedi special. Even though I had an appointment still had to wait 20 minutes. The pedi part was great, but my manicure was sub level. When she filed my nails she left them crooked. In the end I ended up just filing my own nails. When she painted my nails she left part of my nail and painted on each finger. I have never been this disappointed in my life. I got acrylic and they were not good they were crooked and messy. They tried to make me pay more than I should. They asked me what shape and I picked. Then at the end of the manicure I hand her $20 that's what the sign says. She said no it cost $25 extra I asked for what she said for the shape. This place is absolutely horrible!!!! I'm terrified I'm going to get some type of nail fungus after going here. Did not sanitize anything including the bowl they put my feet into, realized this after looking at eveyone else's bowl and then mine. Went in with my daughters to get full sets for a wedding. My oldest has never gotten nails done before and was excited to finally get nails. Without even asking they put gel nails on. The nails look nice but this was an added expense my daughter was not expecting. No apologies were given and they still charged her for them even though she was unaware and not asked. Went in yesterday day to get my nails done, never been here before, WORST nails I have ever got in my life!!!! First off told the lady I wanted a longer length, she then cut the other hand short so my first hand had to get cut down short, 3 of my nails at re extremely crooked and I even poonted it out before there was any acrylic put on them, I asked for a coffin a shape they aren't even close to that, I have glue and acrylic all around my fingers still along with polish, my nails are EXTREMELY lumpy still she didn't smooth them out all the way, there are parts of where the color is that's see threw not covered all the way with all coats of color. And for this I was STILL charged $50 after I pointed everything out. I had to go 45 min away to my normal nail place and pay them to fix this BS they did. Needless to say don't Waste your money going here they are horrible and WAY beyond over priced for a job my 8 year old could have done better. I want my money back. Gel manicure peeling after 6 days and I paid $30. Their Equipment is absolutely filthy and the salon carpet has nail clippings and nail dust everywhere. Tina customizes my pedicure to meet my needs. As a result, my feet are healthy and clean with pretty toe nails. I appreciate her and am grateful for the care she gives me. Because of her culture, she may seem direct in her conversations to some people; but I find her to be accommodating, thoughtful, honest and with a sense of humor. I enjoy my time spent in the salon. Second time coming here and don't know why I even went back. They rush hour service and help other customers while helping you. While I was there I asked the lady to give me just a gel coat (not shellac). She asked why I didn't want shellac and I told her I just didn't. She then asked if it was because I had "no money today" she didn't just ask me this once. She was so disrespect I honestly did not know what to say. After all that she still had the audacity to ask for a tip. I asked her for a third coat and she said she wouldn't charge me. He kept talking about my daughters size and said she need to exercise and that she must eat bad. My daughter looked like she was going to cry. Nancy the owner is a lovely lady and does a great job. However, Tina is the rudest lady I have ever delt with!!!! The pedicure I was given was aweful, I sat in the chair for 30 mins or longer before anyone came to do my pedicure and I had made an appointment. Tina did my pedicure and told me my nail polish I picked was ugly I should pick another one. I told her I liked it to please use that one. She painted my toes with the color I chose, the polish was old and clumpy, so I told her it looks bad can I change it ? She said "I told you it was ugly " than she told me she couldn't change the color because it was too hard!!!!! There was only me my friend and one other lady In that whole place so they where not busy at all !!! Tina kept repeating herself telling me the polish was ugly I told you that! She would say to me. Than she told me should could change it but she would have to charge be $5.00 more and she would only do that if I get the gel top coat that's another $5.00 more. After arguing with her I told her just leave it and I will fix it when I get home. She finnally said ok I'll change the color and give gel top coat for $5.00, I gave in. After she was done she picked up my purse off the floor and set it in my lap and said in a mad tone or angry tone , ok u pay me now! I handed her a card and she said u don't have cash? I said no I don't just the card. She said well how are you going to leave me a tip? I didn't say anything else I was so mad . We where in there for my friends birthday so I didn't want to make a scene. I said I just have a card , she ran my card and was all pissed off and handed it to me and walked away.
